Today we're going to be looking at Google's new free AI updates. The first one being vids. So what you can actually do now is you can create AI avatar videos using Veo 3. 1. And these are now integrated directly into Google. So if you go to vids. new then you can create a new document like you can see right here. You can switch between all these different options but the main one if you want to use the new option as you can see right here it says new use the AI avatar method. And then we can actually create videos that fit the screen. We can X off that. We can insert a script right here. And we can choose the avatar that we actually want to use inside the video. As you can see right here, — the voice you select makes a difference in how viewers respond to your video. — The voice you select makes a difference to how viewers view your video, right? And so you can see here, for example, we've got a script that we plugged in. Let's play this back. This is AI avatar generated video completely just created off the cuff. Let's try it out. brand new free AI coding tool where AI agents literally build entire applications for you across the editor, terminal, and browser all at the same time. — What's also insane about that is like how animated the body language and the head movements and everything like that actually are. Like it's not just like a average AI avatar. This is actually pretty convincing. Even the lighting is pretty cool. If we have a look at this one, this is another one. So we've got a quick 3se secondond clip that we can play back here. — Glad you're here. Welcome to the AI profit boardroom. I'm so glad you're here. — All right, so you can see how you can use these AI avatars. See, Gayton says, "Game over, my friend. " Matt said, "Hi, Julian. I finished man find you live. Thank you for all your videos and updates. Always happy to help. " What else we got here? Mr. J. Bosch says, "Love your content videos you make. Big fan. " Now, is this a real you or the Avatar version of you? Big fan of both. Thank you very much, sir. Supporter says, "The hardest working man on YouTube. " And we got the most. I appreciate that spoilers. So, we're gonna start keep going through now. We'll test out a few new things here. What we can also do is we can change the voice over. So, we can actually change the voice. You can see we can switch between nators. We can insert images as well. So, you can actually add like B-roll into this as well, I think. So, let's try that out. All right, let's click on this. So, we can actually use re reuse prompts and then add like B-roll into the video. Like you can see, we can generate that. What we can also do here is inside the avatar version, we can actually select multiple scenes and then you can view all your scenes right here. Right? So if you add another scene into the script, let's say, for example, we went onto Claude to generate the next version of this clip. We can just extend the scene and add more to it. Let me show you how that works. So we would change the avatar here to match the original one hopefully — as you can see. And then inside this section, we are going to plug in the command and we're going to say okay create the next part of this script about vit from Google. Right? We'll wait for that to load. So what else we got here? We got Matt says cop you're in Thailand. The best YouTube Brazil here. Hola. We are watching you from Sri Lanka. Good to see you here. Matt Thailand here. This is um Sabir from Bangladesh. Thanks for all your efforts support. Always happy that we got a great crowd today, aren't we? We have a great crowd. So, we're going to keep going through now. Now, we've got the script as you can see. Always use Claude for your scripts, friends. Always use Claude. You don't want to be using anything else to be honest with you. And then what we can do is we can add a new scene. Right? So, you see underneath here, we can just add this in. Right now, if we hit the limit like you can see. So, we've hit the limit, then we can just generate the next scene. So, we can click on preview and then create that later. Right? And that's basically how it works. You can insert different scenes into this. You can create an AI avatar. It doesn't seem to have charged me. So, it seems to be free as well. And then we can right click here, click new scene, and then inside the scene section, we would just add the new script here, right? So, for example, let's click on this, X off that. We're going to add new scene, right? And then we're going to choose avatar scene two rises. How you extend it. Then we're going to switch this to James the legend himself. All right. And then we're just going to preview that. So we'll wait for it to preview in and then you can generate the next scene. Right. That might take a little while to generate the next version. But that's basically how you can do it. Then you can add a new scene, new one, etc. Right? It's generating the voiceover preview, but it does take a little bit of time. But this is basically how we can use it. All right. And then this is comparable to something like hen, right? So for example, if we pull these up, I honestly think the avatars might be better than hen. So for example here, let's plug this in. We'll compare them side by side. So this is the Google version. And then if we go over to hen here, we've got like an example from me, right? So let's play this back. So this is my avatar. And then if we compare that to this one, it's comparable. It's on par. It's not 100% perfect, but considering
you can use this and then plug in your scenes, create what you want and it's super easy. Yeah, I think this is a great tool for sure. So, it's really interesting to see what you can do with that. If you've seen my channel, you know that I create a lot of avatar videos and now you can generate these using Google as well. And then you can also add images. You can create content with V3 and then insert that as well. You can use as B-roll. You also got a bunch of templates over here as well. And then you got stock footage too, right? is you can actually search the web for stock footage and then edit your video here. I also like the fact that it's just so easy to, for example, you can insert music, you can insert sound effects, gifts, etc. directly into your video and then just edit on the timeline here. It's kind of like a nicer version of Dcript if anyone's used that. You can also use Nana Banana for generating the images. You can add text, shapes, more avatar stuff, etc. And also the difference here is like you could go to Gemini and you could generate a video with Veo 3. 1 over here, but the problem with that is if you ask it to create that, you're not going to get any character consistency. And then number two, the outputs just don't seem as clean as vids. I think Vids New is designed perfectly for this. The other cool thing here is you can switch to portrait. So you can switch between API and then also between landscape and portrait if you want to generate shorts or reels for that. And you can easily change the avatar here. You can see this there's actually quite a lot of different avatars to select between. — The voice you select makes a difference in how viewers respond to your video. — So we can switch between different avatars here. And then once you're happy with the actual output, what you can do is you can actually convert that to slides. So we can plug slides in here. We can also make a copy and we can download this as an MP4 or a GIF animation which is pretty cool. And then we've got the video downloaded. I think you could actually create like YouTube videos and you could use this for SEO, you could use it for marketing your business, that sort of thing. But it's pretty easy and simple to do that. And then if you click on play over here, that'll play it full screen. I think — this is Google's brand new free AI coding tool where AI agents literally build entire applications for you across the editor. — There you go. And I wonder as well whether you could generate in different languages. So that would be quite interesting as well. Then you can add comments, change the video size, customize the styles. You also got this animation option as well. You can duplicate it or you can actually add a background to this as well. But yeah, pretty easy to do. So side says which tool is worth learning as there are so many tools and causing confusion. Moreover, you're doing a great job and I learn a lot from you. Thank you very much. All right. So if you want to learn for example like what tools are worth using, which ones aren't, etc. each week because there's updates every single week, right? So inside the AI profit boardroom which you can get at the arprofitboarding. com if you go to the weekly updates here we actually do a weekly breakdown where we show okay what's worth your time what's not right so for example if we have a look here you can see an example here where we just broke down okay here's 80 hours of my work we condense it into a one minute update I tell you exactly what's good and what's worth using and then what to ignore completely and then we distill 80 hours of work into 5 minutes right and we actually link to the video tutorials that we're talking about and People love this, right? 38 comments inside the air profom for that particular post. So that's the way that I would look at it is okay week to week. You can just go from there. Foodzilla says, "How long does it usually take you to test these tools? " I think you're asking. Usually pretty quick cuz I've just used them so many times. I find them all intuitive. And then the owner of Bread said, "What's your favorite language? " My favorite language is Italian. Unless you mean coding languages, and then I'm not a coder. How long does it take to learn? Yeah. So, like I said, just I can do create them really quickly. Jump on them. Usually they're designed pretty well as well. If you use something from Google, they're pretty straightforward and easy to learn. So that is update number one. Update number two is the new email update from Google. Right? If you haven't checked this out already, let me show you an example. So they've announced that this was literally a few days ago, January the 8th, that Gmail's entering the new Gemini era. And you can see here, for example, that you can now ask your inbox for anything. It's actually mostly rolling out in the US, but you can see some examples here. If you actually go to Gmail for example like this and then you click on compose you can actually use AI to help you write your emails like you can see and then also at the top here you'll see this Gemini feature right and inside this Gemini feature you can say okay tell me about the flights I had last year type that in and you can actually ask your email inbox like anything about that. Tell Ali to consume AR learning the same way you eat an elephant one bite at a time. There we go. Just learn it here and there. For me, I just spend a couple hours each day just learning this stuff because it's one of the highest leverage skills you can have for mastering AI. So, you can see here, for example, it breaks down the flies, where we flew from, where we went to, etc. What the dates, and that was pretty simple and easy to do. So, there's two ways you can use this. You can use it inside the help me write section. You can also use it inside the Gemini section. And there's going to be an AI inbox button, but I haven't got it at all. And you can see here, for example, that's what it should look like, but I
don't have that feature at all. So, it may not be rolling out for everyone. Or it might just be that only in the US do you get the AI inbox feature, but everything else with Gmail we've got directly here. For coding, I actually don't speak any coding languages. I can't code at all. And I think that's one of the beautiful things about AI is like I can build apps, I can build tools. It's quite easy for me to create stuff and I do it all without coding. I'll show you another example. So, this is Google AI Studio and actually for the thumbnails for these videos, right? I'll show you an example of what we do. This is a tool that we have. And so, for example, here I can upload a thumbnail. Let's pull up a random thumbnail like so. Here we go. Right. And we'll take this thumbnail like you can see. All right. So, we got two different thumbnails right there. I'm just going to say, okay, make this more attention grabbing, interesting, powerful, colorful, dopamine inducing, etc. And you can see here, for example, this is a tool that actually vibe coded with Google pretty much yesterday. We coded this out just because we created so many thumbnails, we needed an easier way to automate them. And so what you can see here is like this. I literally timed it yesterday. It took me about 10 minutes to create. And what it does is it can take like thumbnail styles, look at thumbnails I previously created, and then tweak them slightly depending on the update or the tool that I'm talking about. It does take a little bit of time, but basically it's using Gemini 3 Pro with Nano Banana and then also some other things that I've tweaked to like for example it creates thumbnails that are actually lower than 2. 2 megabytes which is the limit for YouTube and then it will just generate something like this. We can download it and boom, we've got that thumbnail ready to go and it's also high quality because we vibe coded that into the tool as well. So that's another cool thing to check out is like inside ARI Studio, you can actually vibe code with stuff and build stuff out like this. And those are tools that can actually replace your team if you have one. For example, I might take my team like 10 minutes to generate a thumbnail, but I can now create a thumbnail with one or two clicks, which is super simple and easy. So what I've actually done is I've created a full tutorial, an extra video tutorial on Google AI avatars, right? How to use them, how to set them up. You can see all the resource links right here and also what it means, how it works, etc. And you can get all of these the notes including the update. So this is the vids velocity framework which is basically how to turn Google vids into your personal production team. Instead of spending hours filming, editing and re-recording content, you feed it scripts and images and outputs professional videos with AI avatars that sound human, right? And you know, you can use this 30-day framework to master this stuff. If you want to learn this stuff, if you really want to implement it inside your business, then I've given you a 30-day framework that you can actually implement to start using this right now. Some people say, "I need expensive equipment to make professional videos. " But actually, you don't. You can just use these AI avatars, and it's super simple and easy. Other people say, "Old AI avatar videos look fake, and people judge me, blah, blah. " Here's the interesting thing. Like, when Netflix first launched streaming, people said, "Nobody will watch movies on a computer. It will look terrible. " When Zoom became popular, people said virtual meetings feel impersonal. You need face to face. And when AI voices hit the market, people said nobody will trust a robotic voice. And now Netflix has 250 million subscribers. Zoom is like one of the biggest software in the world. AI voices narrate bestselling audio books, right? And the pattern here is like people adapt faster than you think. So, you know, Google updated and upgraded to Vea 3. 1. And actually, in blind tests, this is quite interesting. users preferred uh vids avatars five times more often than competitors, right? The lip syncing is smooth, the expressions are natural, the uncanny is closing fast, right? And so your audience really cares about value, not perfection. If your video solves their problem, they'll watch it whether you're on camera or your AI avatar is, right? And the new empowering belief really is that AI avatars are now indistinguishable from real people in most contexts. Your audience cares about the message, not the medium. So just use AI avatars, but focus on building value. That's the goal here. As you can see, can I use my photos? There is an option to record yourself and insert it, but I've not tested that out. I think really it's about using the default avatars. That's what it's really about. So, you can see how this works, how easy it is to set up. I've given you a 30-day plan, a full framework for using Google AI videos, a free tutorial. This is all inside the AI success lab. And then one final thing they've actually done is created like a list of prompts you can test out for videos as well if you're using VO 3. 1 as you can see. So for example for like event and webinar videos or FAQs and that sort of thing you can just copy and paste the prompts and then use them in Beo 3. 1. So thanks so much for watching. That is basically all the new free updates from Google as you see today. If you want to get a full community with 45,200 people, you can get that inside the AI success lab and then inside the classroom here. Just go to January 2026 and you can see the full notes from today. Top of that, if you want to connect with me personally, you can do that inside the AI profit boardroom. This is available at the link in the
comments description or you can just DM me or just go to arprofitboarding. com and you can see for example inside the community we have 2,100 people who are just helping and sharing and learning from each other. So for example like Steve Light, he's going to do a YouTube posting challenge and he's actually sharing that with the community. You can see for example we've got a daily accountability group right here. You can also be part of something where people are winning and learning, right? So you can see all the cool stuff that people are creating and sharing and learning together. It's absolutely amazing. All right. So if you want to get all my best playbooks as well. So for example, we can show you how to go from beginner to expert for your AI business. You can get that inside the AR along with a lesson that teaches you how to build your first AI agent in under 5 minutes. Additionally, you'll learn how to automate AI avatar videos based on what's working for me. I actually don't use Google Vids for generating AI avatar videos, but I have a full process right here. If you want to learn how to get more clients for your agency, you can check out this course. If you want to rank number one with AI SEO, you can check out that one and YouTube AI too. So that's basically it. And then inside the calendar as well, we have four coaching calls a week where you can jump on calls, ask questions, get help, get support, meet the community. And those coaching calls actually get recorded if you can't make them. So feel free to get that link inside the comments and the description or go to the arpufferboard. com. So, we got some questions on SEO. With AI answering queries directly on the results page, what is the number one strategy to get users to actually click through to our website instead of just reading the AR summary? So, you want to be targeting like high converting keywords, right? So, for example, like nobody's going to click on like concat bananas. That's just not going to drive traffic, right? But something for example that requires like really in-depth results, that's going to get clicks. Let me show you an example of one thing that actually created very recently that ranks on Google. So if we type in for example claude course on Google like you see right here you can see that two of my videos ranking for that particular keyword right on the first page of Google. Now the amazing thing about this is that people they don't want to just get an AI answer for a full course right the search intent is really to go deep into that topic. How do you go deep? You watch a video tutorial on it. Right? And so that method works really well. That's one of the methods I'd recommend. It's just going for keywords where people have to go deeper. Right? The other thing that you can do is go after like other high converting keywords where people are searching for a product or something like that, right? So for example, if we type in like SEO training Honington, right? People are looking to find someone who can do that, right? And so if you look at this particular keyword, you can see that julongi. com my website is ranking number one for that keyword with an AI generated article. And then it drives traffic to our funnels to book in a free SEO strategy session and blah blah. Okay? And so really what you're doing here is like you're going for high converting keywords where people are looking for something super specific. They're not going to get what they want from the search because the search doesn't end there like they have to go to a website and book etc. And we dominate it by creating videos and blogs for the same keyword. Right? So if we have a look for this keyword on Google, you can see me ranking here and here. Right? And then if we keep scrolling down, you can see me ranking here and also here. Right? And so we rank four times for the same keyword. actually five times to rank on LinkedIn too. And so it's pretty simple and easy. So see my Facebook page is ranking on that particular keyword as well. Pretty awesome. Now if you want to get a free SEO strategy session, just go to julianoldie. com. You can book that in and on julianoldie. com you can see all the details of how we can help you with SEO. Right. Got here. Yes. I mean to ask the same question, right? Which is how does the strategy shift from optimizing for blue links to optimize for AI overviews? That process I've just shown you is how it works. Right. A flowerful girl says, "Hey Julian, what is the stack of AI tools you use for each task? For example, I see that to gather info on the web, you use publicity, but for other tasks you use different tools. " Yes. So actually inside the air for one, because this changes like week to week and that's why if I gave you a list today, it may change tomorrow, right? And so what I recommend is inside the start here post of the AI profit boardroom. As you can see, we actually have section on updated tools that I use, right? So this is a list of the tools that I use so that you don't feel overwhelmed and I break down exactly what we're doing right here. So if you join the app boarding go to the start here post you'll see a list of all the tools that we use to for each stack and how it works etc. The one thing that I will say is right now if I had to give you one of my favorite tools for using for AI I would definitely go for Claude. Claude is just outstanding. It's in the last few weeks they kept producing and kept creating updates over Christmas over the last few weeks as well when all the other AI stopped and it's just unbelievable how powerful it is. Yeah, I'd recommend going with that. Phil Games says, "Just made it to his
