If this is your first view—hi, I’m Nick! TLDR: I spent six years building automated businesses with Make.com (most notably 1SecondCopy, a content company that hit 7 figures). Today a lot of people talk about automation, but I’ve noticed that very few have practical, real world success making money with it. So this channel is me chiming in and showing you what *real* systems that make *real* revenue look like.

Hopefully I can help you improve your business, and in doing so, the rest of your life 🙏

### [0:00](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wq5zQPtNH1I) Introduction

hey I'm an AI agency owner who h 72k a month and today I'm going to rate every AI automation I've ever made I've done this primarily in make. com and nen some of these systems are going to be for my clients other ones ones that I built for myself and my own company either way there's going to be tons of value in it let's get started this is an email categorization system I'd rate this a tier this hasn't directly made me more than maybe a few thousand do in opportunity cost but it substantially streamlines the hell out of my life uh for make a long story short I have a very active email inbox these days especially as I've started scaling the YouTube channel and the agency and I've created a bunch of categories but the funniest one is people selling me stuff what I do is every time a new email comes into Gmail okay what I have the ability to is I can forward it over to a web hook somewhere and what I've chosen to do is I forward it over to this make. com web hook right over here that then catches the email okay I will then do some fancy formatting stuff and then ultimately I will uh feed that email body into artificial intelligence and then I'll just have it categorize it for me and attach a label to it autonomously now this isn't what I'd consider an AI agent but it is certainly A system that lives within my mailbox and probably is a little bit more effective than an a agent I don't need to ask it to do anything it just automatically does it all for me your task is to categorize incoming emails on the following labels sponsorship requests people selling me stuff invoices and receipts worthwhile return your answer in Jason as follows rules I'm a well-known AI consultant I have dozens of people reaching out to me every day I'm looking to label and categorize emails to make my life easier and to avoid having to rif through sponsorship request sales people on a daily basis if you notice I'm talking to this just like I talk to a staff member or a person so if somebody's reaching out to me about a sponsorship or affiliate partnership categorize it as sponsorship request get it the hell out of my inbox if somebody's reaching out to me to try and sell me categorize it as people selling me stuff if it's a receipt for something categorize it as invoices and receipts this makes accounting really easy because all I do is I go to the invoices and receipts label grab all of the attachments and then dump them uh in a Google Drive that my accountant has access to then

### [1:56](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wq5zQPtNH1I&t=116s) Email Categorization System

ultimately if the email doesn't fit into the above three categories categorizes as worthwhile these are ones I will actually look at so nothing really you know rocket science here okay nothing super crazy but you know I go through and I train it a bunch and then if the email is not worthwhile I will then move it to the label mark it as red and then as I mentioned get it the hell out of my inbox if it's worthwhile I stop right here with that filter uh and then you know I don't proceed anymore this system is an AI content generator that uses uh my YouTube comments in order to generate me large lists of possible videos I'd consider this a tier this has made me directly tens of thousands of dollars just in the last few months because it's enabled me to really just keep my finger on the pulse of what my YouTube audience and my community wants to make a long story short basically what we're doing is we're using a thirdparty service called appify if you're unfamiliar with how appify works it's basically a Marketplace of scrapers okay what we can do is we can scrape anything we want including YouTube comments so what I do is I go and I scrape my own YouTube comments I will feed those YouTube comments into artificial intelligence with a simple prompt basically saying hey is this something that might be classified as a question or a suggestion is it interesting if so I'm looking for Content ideas so I want you to basically return a list of titles of what those content ideas could be okay that's more or less what this section is saying over here then I have a bunch of examples okay here's the video title here's the comment I quote unquote received on this video title and then here is what I wanted to respond with how I made $2,514 last month of automation my path $2,514 copy me from bankrupt to $100,000 a month right these are all titles so basically what I do is I will go and I'll have it get me a bunch of ideas like this you can use a better app if I

### [3:47](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wq5zQPtNH1I&t=227s) AI Content Generator

actor um I have a problem maybe you can help me uh it's all about click up right and then I'll feed it into Ai and I'll have ai generate me ideas for that so hey here's how to build a high ticket project management system here's how to create a internal follow-up system here's to streamline departmental follow-ups then after that okay I'll iterate through them I'll do you know a bunch of fancy um variable setting stuff that I don't really need to do and then finally what I'll actually do is I'll generate an outline for the content ideas that I just scraped from my own YouTube so here's one hey I'm Nick surve I skilled a Content writing agency to 92k a month and an automation agency to 72k a month what's the key to this success automating simple processes like departmental follow-ups so today I'm going to show you how to use chat gbt to streamline follow-ups across various departments for maximum efficiency if efficient communication is your goal this is a must watch now am I going to win any awards for this stuff no I'm not it's not the greatest hook of all time but does this help eliminate I want to say 90% of the work for me yeah because now I have something on the page now all I have to do as a human is I just have to make some minor edits I have to QA I have to add my own case studies in here I have to correct anything that might be a little bit wrong and so on and so forth so this I would consider a tier super powerful automation the end result is I get this huge ass list as you can see here and I think like you a good thousand of these were all ones that I just scraped on yeah literally like December the look at how many I scraped on December the freaking 12th gigantic Insanity right crazy and these are all ideas so here's the comment which AI deep voiceover are you using in your videos so the content idea is hey why don't you review a bunch of AI voiceover tools you know and then I have hooks and so on and so forth then here's my own little project management system where I just Market is reviewed you want to hear a really sneaky thing you don't just have to do this for your own videos you could totally do this for other people's

### [5:28](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wq5zQPtNH1I&t=328s) Content Production and Onboarding Flow

videos this next system is a massive content production and onboarding flow I'd rate it as s tier directly made my content writing company over a million dollars um just in streamlining the onboarding and production of templated assets for my content agency so when I think like uh high leverage fulfillment based systems this is what I think of it was designed by uh mostly by my business partner at the time and I came in and made a couple of Minor Adjustments but this is basically what I take the vast majority of inspiration from onboarding and fulfillment from so let me run you through it um to make a long story short we we're always watching clickup for stuff so the way that we set up our clickup is we basically have a big project management space okay that's separated into two lists one called q and then one called content pipeline so Q looks like this and the value of Q is just a way for us to add articles and content into our system and then template the hell out of them using AI using Google Docs using Google Drive keeping everything super organized automatically initiating things like time tracking I mean this is this has got to be like the nicest and easiest way to do things so if you guys are running some sort of high volume High throughput business with a lot of line items coming in every day this is how I do it okay so uh what do we do to start well basically um in Click up you can create a template so I'm going to create a template for an example company okay when you do so um this is just a click it feature what you basically do is you can pull a bunch of data from this uh template that you've stored basically okay so as we see over here brief and guideline doc style guide writing guidelines writer's checklist so there's a style guide for this client there's writing guidelines a writer's checklist for this client you know there's some tasks that they need to do there's some context there's some AI detector score because a lot of people don't like the AI detector scores here's a bunch of information about the specific client right here's some example content here's the contact name my case it's me because it's an example here's like a write up of what the business does okay so a lot of stuff here um what happens basically is what we do is we give this a due date so maybe tomorrow and Target word count so 1,000 words okay and we assign it to I don't know I'm just going to sign it to myself here and then um you know what I'm going to do is I'm going to change the status and then I'll just set this to oh I should also note that there are a bunch of subtasks here I'm going to change the status to ready okay and what happens when we Mark something as ready basically the second that we do we get a web Hook from the service called hook deck which is just like a normal web hook then what we'll do is we'll get the task so we do this in clickup just to get a bunch of data then we will update the status of the clickup record the one that we just created momentarily to say creating project folder just so that if anybody on the team sees this and mucks around with it they don't know what it's for it'll say creating project folder this is sort of like user experience for project management it's pretty neat we then log an execution in the comments so we'll say stuff like hey here's the task execution link and this is just for debugging purposes sometimes things go wrong you can actually just click on this button and actually get taken directly to the specific execution of that task pretty neat we then go and we find a projects folder for example client okay the value in doing this is we have this big system where we create Google Drive folders for new um projects that come in right what we do is we organize them all under this big projects folder which is pretty neat then we create a project or a task folder a new one with the specific article name we update the status again to say creating Google doc search for template and then what we do if we have a template is we'll create it Google doc brief based off of data about that company now because mine's just example company it just says example company right now but you can imagine there'd be some sort of like templated introduction I don't know templated uh write up templated CTA uh I don't know and then you know as you can see it's formatted really nicely here so it's just like inter formatting the article looks really pretty usually clients have different preferences where how they want their projects delivered so that we sort of pay attention on that and then make the article look really sexy for them we then share the file add a project folder link to the clickup which is no longer in Q right it's since moved on to my big content PIP plan it's pretty neat we will then do tons of other clickup related stuff we'll add some assignes We'll add subtasks we'll go into a Time tracking platform called Harvest if you guys are familiar with aren't familiar with Harvest just a quick and easy way for all of your team members to track time will then create an and integrate Harvest with the specific projects so that any team member that wants to track time just has to click a button to do so we automatic calculate the budget based off the revenue we get the internal costs the number of hours spent per piece all very nice and organized we add it to a dashboard and then you know we update a client record because we also have a client record to show hey you know there's currently an article in progress for that client we'll update the word counts we'll extrapolate our Revenue I mean this is a very impressive sort of system which is nice and then what do we end up with an article over here okay in this status called a waiting assignment um it's the same article that we had before but you'll notice that now there's a bunch of other things here okay there's a project folder which is linked and you can actually go and you can click on it right it's just right over here basically anybody assigned to this task now has the ability just to jump in and then start working on the Google Drive everything's templated there's a way to track time right over here this is me tracking time this time will automatically be added to um that staff member's Harvest account and then all this is like two way integrated which is cool we have Target word counts uh which is how much you know how many words we want the person to write when they're done with this um looking over the task they can move it to assign and that says hey I'm now the assign on the task when they start writing they move it to writing when it's moved to the editor starts editing when it's ready for submission it's moved to ready for submission then finally it's move to submit it our client review depending on whether or not like we're submitting this manually or the client needs to take a look at it so you know we we have a lot of there's a lot of value in a system like this I guess is what I'm trying to say um you know without going into every individual node here hopefully you guys can at least see the pattern is that we get some event in one workspace then we use the data added to that event in that workspace to template out a bunch of other stuff then we take advantage of like hierarchical organization and some good project management fundamentals to do things like automatically create assets automatically create emails and stuff like that for the the client to let them know that things are underway and and they're being worked on you know you could automatically invite people to kick off calls and stuff I mean this is a very simplified version of what that looks like in addition we

### [11:59](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wq5zQPtNH1I&t=719s) Project Management Assisting Automations

also have a bunch of other automations that just um track things as they move from one task to the other so like you know as uh the rough draft stage gets changed to final draft or I don't know as as various things occur inside of that clickup workspace you know we have various Watchers that just do these one-off things um you know like if a due date arrives and the status is not yet completed for instance what we do is we take that data we log it to a dashboard sheet the dashboard sheet allows us to visualize how many overdues there have been in the last month and then show that to writers and managers and stuff like that um so yeah this is more or less like project management assistant assisting uh automations and I'd rate this as zester just because it has a direct impact on my revenue and basically every other thing that I've done since this is a deep personalization system that uses Apollo appify and then feeds things into a platform called lead magic in order to allow you to personalize the hell out of any outbound campaign I consider this system a tier easily a lot of people in my community made money um either copying pasting this into their own businesses or using it uh you know attempting to sell it or template it or whatever so you can see this is built in nadn notm make. com hence why the background looks a little bit different but let me run you through it um essentially what we have is I get this big Google sheet okay this is a big

### [13:12](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wq5zQPtNH1I&t=792s) Deep Personalization System

Google sheet with a bunch of information about people so we scrape a bunch of people again using appify and now we have a list of first names headlines user skills company names company size so on and so forth the deliverable here the output of my flow is a bunch of these columns that essentially are just different sections of an email okay so what we do is we'll go over here and I have these web hooks which basically get appify data after that I have a little testing block this is just what I use to limit results during testing and as you can see this is purple here if you're unfamiliar with that just means that I've up pinned the results because this is a copy that I've copied this over from another workflow because I don't want to muck about on live data and leak email address and stuff I'll then um feed into this Loop over items node and the way that the is basically it goes one at a time or however many the batch sizes I said it as one at a time so it takes these 128 items basically just converts them to one item uh and that just allows me to manage this really easily not run into rate limit issues after that what I do is I have an if the if is really simple basically I just check to see whether or not there's an email address associated with the record because not all of the emails are populated using the scraping source that I'm uh I'm utilizing I'll then use platform called lead magic to request a LinkedIn profile I'm not going to click on this just cuz I think there's an API key in there and then really the meet and Bones list is my five column personalization so let me run you through what the prompt looks like um basically what I do is I feed in a bunch of LinkedIn bio information here so the bio field the summary field the the workplace the location I don't know their picture I take a picture of their dog and talk about it okay and then I say your task Mr AI is to personalize an email you'll do this by taking as input a prospect LinkedIn profile then editing five templates for different sections of the email subject line Icebreaker elevator pitch call to action and a PS field then here's the secret sauce I actually give it some templates okay if you are trying to have ai personalized stuff for you AI usually really screws up you know why it's because like the range of possible responses with AI is just way too long like if this is all responses just being candid here and this is like hey and this is um I'll kill you okay AI can generate something at any level of sentiment between these two if you just ask it to write you an email like there's such a wide range of possible responses so what you have to do is basically you need to use templates like this where you say hey name think I have something for you re thing about them I know you've been doing thing and I've been following related thing hey I think I can add 5K month to your paraphrased business okay what you have to do is you have to use this sort of approach to take this super wide range of of BS to be honest and then constrain it into a hyper optimized little range where AI can basically only operate in the parameters that you want it to okay so I'm saying paraphrase business I'm saying industry I'm saying related thing right these aren't just one word I'm not just copying and pasting these from some LinkedIn profile what I'm doing is I'm having AI like intelligently turn this into some sort of paraphrase and uh the value there is just it's very difficult to conceptualize it's crazy you get all of the benefits of like templating and being a really good copywriter as I am um and then you get to sprinkle on a bunch of customization into it so you know like this guy here cool look he wrote something about um sales boosting in one of his LinkedIn articles right so we have this right here and then it says hey think I have something for you re sales boost so cool like this guy you know he's reading this and he's like wait a second I wrote a I wrote an article about that wow so this guy probably read my stuff hm let me click on the email and actually go next St hey and you're lead sales over body code I've been seen a lot happening in the mechanical engineering space so I figured we could chat right you're still thinking this is a real human being that wrote this so your defenses are down you're like oh okay this person obviously respects my work maybe I can actually chat with them the TDR I think I can add 5K month your sales process at body cod with a few automated systems I just did this for a very similar engineering firm and we hit 28350 bucks in a few months they specialize in industrial Solutions which might be similar to what this company does so I'm very confident I can duplicate this be 100% risk- free I guarantee at least 20 appointments book or you wouldn't pay and PS even if we just chat I'd love to hear about what you're doing with sales at body cat so now it's like okay you know he's in some sort of sales role AI has summarized that as sales um the likelihood is that you know uh Kulik at this point still thinks that this is human written or if he thinks that you know we use some sort of template to do this he still thinks that like there's a human behind the template what's the end result well the end result is this deep personalization yield substantially better reply rates than basically anything else that people are doing right now and uh yeah you can can get it I mean it's a hell of a system this is a custom system that allows me to get weight listy email addresses I'd rate it C tier it's not super important but I thought I'd throw it in just because I wanted to show maybe the less technically capable people here just how much value you can drive with very simple HTTP requests so essentially context I run a community called makemoney with make. com where I do things like I host copywriting workshops to teach my members how to do copywriting I do uh you know weekly office hours where I take coaching calls and run people through you know various problems that they're suffering from but I C it at 400 don't be fooled by the 407 I just have a few staff members that I'm now working with that are doing things like you know creating recurring events and trying to summarize needs for the community and stuff like that but let's say that you know the community is captive 400 so knowing that all right what is the hell

### [18:45](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wq5zQPtNH1I&t=1125s) Custom System for Waitlist Email Addresses

is this right over here well this is um a massive list of weight list requests basically there's a massive number of people that want to get in the community they can't because I've weight listed it all right so what do I have them fill out and application the issue is this platform that I'm using school just doesn't have a way for me to get those email addresses and that's where my little oneline automation came in that I built in just a few minutes that has solved this for me completely it allows me to get their email addresses and then it also allows me to add them to an email list um run some custom Logic on you know inviting them to my community when the weit list numbers uh you know sort themselves out and so on and so forth so I'm how does this work well all I do is I just get total pages so I call a make. or a school. com endpoint with the page number I give it my cookie and then I get a bunch of HTML I parse those pages I scrape the specific page here and then I parse all of the email addresses on that list then I search existing records basically to determine whether or not this person is already in my weight list uh database then if they're new I just add them over to the sheet cool right this is a simple

### [19:54](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wq5zQPtNH1I&t=1194s) Daily Analytic Tracker

5 minute automation that I built that I can do because I know HTTP requests I also know a little bit of introductory regular Expressions um that basically allows me to piece all these things together very quickly and solve a need that like my platform might not have built on this is a fan page daily analytic tracker basically what this allows me to do is get real-time data once per day of all of my YouTube and Instagram channels I've also built this for other people as well slightly different format but I would rate this as B tier this doesn't directly make me money but it is very useful and something that you just can't get unless you build a system out like this so uh what exactly does this mean well if you go to youtube. com and then I just type in Nix arve reels here as you see I have this big long uh list of reals okay these are reals that we just started publishing just a couple of weeks ago and so you know these all have 400 and 300 and 500 and 400 and 433 views but what if I just wanted to get a feel for how this and my other 10 channels were working you know like how they were growing and so on and so forth well that's where this flow comes in basically what I do is I have a big Google sheet here I add all the channels to the YouTube account tracking then I add my Instagram accounts to my Instagram account tracking then once per day it goes and it scrapes um and I'm just filtering this for after brunch the 5th I guess I didn't want this to be super busy once a day I scrape this and then I dump in the total number of views across all of my reals channels here in terms of the logic I will um search my Google sheet in order to get all of the Instagram accounts first and then afterwards I'll do the same thing here in order to get all of my YouTube accounts and then basically all I do is for every one of these accounts I just run an appify actor so this is how I do the Instagram one using an aggregator then this is how I do the YouTube One also using an aggregator but also you know uh adding some additional uh parameters there and then all I do is I will map and add all of them up using some custom logic then finally I will add that data to my Google sheet alongside the date that I tracked do I think that this is going to win me a Nobel Prize no but does it solve a pretty consistent need that I and many of my clients have had throughout the years running my automation agency yes this is how you might in practice build something one route for every new platform so Instagram is here uh YouTube is over here maybe have Tik Tok that might be down here and all they're doing is they're just going through a Google sheet enumerating um and then getting every handle they're aggregating all of those hand Les together and then sending some sort of apify scraper request this

### [22:31](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wq5zQPtNH1I&t=1351s) Autonomous Waitlist Manager Flow

next flow here is responsible for at least $25,000 a month I'd consider it s tier now it's s tier to me my agency and my needs might not be S tier to you and your agency and your needs but let me run you through how it works again it has to do with my community makemoney withm make. com because we are weight listed what that means is we need a mechanism by which we can watch for when one person CHS so that we can invite another person in now I struggled with this for quite a while what I ended up doing was I built a flow that I called the autonomous weightless manager flow what it does is it just makes HTTP requests on a daily basis over to makemoney withm make. com the really cool thing is when you do this in school you actually get all of the member uh the member count data just directly in HTML you don't even need a cookie for it so basically every hour I have it tell me how many members are in my community pretty cool right once I know how many members are in my community what do I parse that then I say hey are we less than you know in this case I think this is when I had a few uh slightly fewer staff members 403 if we are at less than 403 I will then search through that weight list sheet that I showed you earlier I will then find some customer details and then I will actually go build them automatically and then invite them into my community basically immediately I'll also add a slack notification basically telling me hey this person just entered your community go over and send them like a happy thank you welcome message or something just because I know that adds to the perceived quality of the service and I want people to feel really welcome when they come in so how do I do it I just have a bunch of stripe modules okay basically um I'm searching my database and they're retrieving some customer data because they have a stripe um line item already I then create an invoice item create an invoice finalize an invoice and then create a payment intent and stripe a payment intent is the thing that actually makes you money now as you see here on the right hand side we have two routes the first route is if the payment works what we do is we actually send an HTTP request directly over to the school servers in order to invite the person into my community autonomously and then if it doesn't work what we do is we update our database with some value like hey this person couldn't make it then what I do is I actually send them a manual invoice instead of an automatic one and then I use some templated language that looks something like this hey person thanks for signing up to the annual waight list for make money with make I just tried to invite you in as we had an opening but your account is showing payment declined sometimes cards can be finicky without addresses and I usually don't ask for this less friction this is usually what ends up being probably on my end I'm going to send you a manual stripe invoice in a sec would you mind paying it whenever you can Afters let me know when it's sorted and I'll send you an invite to the community thanks again so why is this system valuable and important well why does it make me you know 25,000 bucks a month I found that when I didn't have something like this that worked immediately within an hour of somebody wanting to sign up to my community the number of people that ended up going through with it was a lot lower it's one of the classic sales foundations sell to people where they are now and where they what they want now not what they want in 12 16 hours or something so all I do is when somebody says they want this now I find a way to essentially get them on record or something I get them in my database I send them some sort of message I immediately autoc confirm there's just some something now and then when a spot is open I don't waste any time I immediately go through create that payment and that payment request and then I invite them into my community because I just want to minimize you know the gap between when they sign up and when they get the thing that is uh one of the many ways that automation can be extraordinarily valuable I'll say time to lead is pretty big and it's um a pretty big low hanging fruit that a lot of people just don't really seem to get the shorter your time to lead us if you can get two people within a minute I think you increase your conversion rate by like 3 or 400% or something so the shorter your time to lead is there's basically a direct correlation between time to lead and then Revenue okay so the um yeah like the shorter the time to lead is the revenue and the longer goes down if this is TTL and this is revenue this is one minute this is 60 minutes okay you're basically getting I don't know like 3 or 4X the result if you can just find a way to respond to people within a minute

### [26:50](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wq5zQPtNH1I&t=1610s) Simple Email Flow

and that's what I recommend this is a very simple two-step flow that just catches a web hook and then sends somebody an email asset I'd rate this at C tier it doesn't make me ton of money but what it does is it just fills a gap in one of my systems I have a website up here nick. com when somebody downloads my free road map to 25k basically what I want to do is I want to invite them into my community now this is just some asset that I've created a while back to guide people towards being able to set up an automation agency and then scale it to 25k a month um and basically what I do is I watch for new ghost. org signups and then automatically email this to people so the second that they sign up to my website they also get an email where basically say hey thanks for signing us to my blog here's a little freebie for your time and I formatted this as um essentially a uh like I formed this as an HTML email just so that when you get it looks all nice and sexy and

### [27:41](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wq5zQPtNH1I&t=1661s) Upwork and RSS Feed Icebreaker Generator

clean this upwork and RSS feed and Icebreaker generator I would rate as s tier this has made me directly several hundred, and it's at the core of why I was able to scale and bootstrap my agency now I should note that the RSS feed feature is now deprecated you can't actually do what I'm showing you right now using the RSS feed feature um what you have to do instead is you have to make basically direct HTTP request over to upwork instead and then basically everything else that I'm showing you here still works but the RSS feed specifically that was uh you know a feature of its time I should say and it was fantastic because it automatically structur all the data for you but good things in life don't always last forever so what exactly does this do so what I have over here is an air table where on the leftmost column we have a title then we have the date posted we have the description and then we have a copiable message alongside a link to a loom URL and then a customized Icebreaker where we basically have ai generate us a perfect response that's hyper relevant to this person so that we get all the benefits of seeming personalized without actually having to go through the description and do any of the work this case hey I'm the person you're looking for I've implemented automated content generation systems for an SEO agency doing over 10 mli year presumably this is important to the person that applied uh created the job ensuring seamless data handling and integration let's streamline your QuickBooks receipt management together it's the perfect ensuring seamless data handling no it's not but it's as I mentioned the 020 and when you have a system up like this you can submit many upwork applications a day which is typically like quite a laborious process and then if you sprinkle on maybe a custom loom video or something you can add a ton of Leverage I guess is what I'm saying so how does this work we grab the RSS feed item over here we parse the description we then filter the job using this um open AI module now this is using an older version as you could see because this is back I was using this back when RSS feed was not deprecated we're now using a slightly different system and this is more or less what it says I'm an automation engineer that builds Outreach system CRM systems project management systems no code systems and Integrations below as a job description filter it for relevance true or false in Json some of the platforms I use include air table clickup chat gbt make Monday zap your LinkedIn Google Sheets if relevant write a short introductory Icebreaker then I have a bunch of notes and then I actually give it a bunch of example projects um that I have done in the past right just for social proof reasons and I basically say hey here's a bunch of examples of jobs and here's what I want you to say jobs and then notice how I have it generate me a reason I do that because the quality of the filter is better I'll then parse the Json from the previous node I then get the budget and then if it's an hourly job I will add it through this route and then if it's a project job I'll add it through this route why do I do that just because hourly and project jobs they just T of different fields right like Max budget and M budget these are just formatted differently but yeah I definitely rate this as s TI I've made a ton of money with this is a YouTube RSS fee competitor monitoring flow I'd rate this at C tier it's not exactly winning me any rewards but what it does do is it just allows me to keep track of the people that I would consider competitors in my field so you can see is an n8n flow we have a trigger that runs every so often once a day at 5: a. m. uh we then get a list of competitors from a Google sheet this is my Google sheet over here with my list of competitors now as you can see I've just changed all the names to other person but what we're doing is we're basically tracking the number of posts they made in the last week month and the number of posts they made in the last year as well as some accessory information I'm not going to show you right now we then track all of my own videos then we also track all of their videos right over here which is pretty neat including the date that they publish the IDS and so on and so forth and the value here is it just allows me to keep track of what the people in my space that are growing faster than me or maybe growing in approximately the same speed are doing um I didn't actually start keeping track of competitors till very recently and I don't really care too much about it uh but I will say it is quite motivating to see a bunch of people that are in your Niche growing faster or better than you or doing something that you're not and uh you know ultimately being able to take something from that incorporate in your own content and make it better right I mean it's like a big sharing ecosystem here I might as well so the information's out there right um get competitors using this Google sheet I then pass this into a split in batches node which allows me to get a list of stored videos this is actually kind of neat the way this logic Works um I basically get a list of the stored videos that are currently here so if I just use my own as an example I get all of these right and then I will grab the most recent videos of the person using an RSS feed turns out YouTube actually is an RSS feed if you just like make a request over to this RSS feed youtube. com/ feed. XML channelid if you feed in your channel ID you can find mine right over here then you will actually get a list of all of the YouTube videos of that person so if I want to find my channel ID let me click on this uh go down here copy Channel ID down at the bottom now let's go back over to the URL that I wanted to pump in a moment ago which oh boy I think it was this right over here check this out now I have a big list of all the YouTube videos that I posted pretty neat huh okay so I take this list of YouTube videos that I posted and I basically feed it into NN and then I use a merge node which basically allows me to drop all of the non match or keep all of the non- matches from the recent videos that I published that's just sort of a quick and easy nadn um I want to say like uh filtering mechanism that allows you to D duplicate incoming data just use a merge node set the parameter to keep non-matches at input one combined by matching fields and match by whatever the field is that you want to match on and then just drop everything from like the the old data source so this would be like your current and then this would always be whatever it is RSS feed API call whatever this would always be your new and then you know the new stuff would come in here then if there's any current stuff that the same as the new stuff basically only the unique ones of the new one would proceed which is kind of neat then I'll do some data formatting stuff and I'll basically append it to my sheet kind of neat huh you can do a lot with RSS feeds um that's why I love them so much this is a permutation of the scalable content generator that I created almost a year ago now that actually ended up making me uh reasonably big on YouTube fairly quickly essentially what this is first of all I'd rate this as a tier you can make some pretty good content with this it's not amazing but I rate this as a tier essentially what this ISS is it's a type form that you feed in a bunch of data about the article that you want okay I then will watch the responses I'll grab it so this is a brief I'll feed in the title keywords I'll feed in a couple other pieces of information then what we do is we go through anthropic CLA then we actually write an outline of the content this is kind of neat right this case it was something about permanent veneers looks like kind of neat after that once we have the outline what we'll do is we'll actually split the outline that we just provided based off the presence of a new line so now we just have a giant list of new lines and if the section starts with an H2 which is the markdown format meaning for um like a like not the biggest heading but the subheading then we'll actually have ai generate a whole article based off of a specific sorry generate a specific section of an article based off of an arrow pointing to the left of a heading I know that may sound a little bit more complicated than usual feel free to check out my content Generation video if you guys want more in- depth on that um but yeah this thing has directly made me probably well over $100,000 not the anthropic CLA part this is something that's relatively new the end result is you end up with a blog post it looks something like this so exploring your options for dental implants as you can see I was doing this with one of my dental clients picture this it's the 1960s the world was captivated by the Space Race as astronauts prepare for their Journey To The Moon NASA faces an unexpected challenge how to keep their teeth clean in zero gravity the solution a toothpaste pill that astronauts can chew spreading the paste around their mouth before swallowing it while this Innovative approach solve the immediate problem it's safe to say that most of us prefer our toothpaste to stay out of our stomachs fast forward to today and dental Innovation continues to push boundaries will be in more practical ways and this is basically kind of a clean way to lead into a main point so there's an introduction format that um basically like feeds in some sort of historical data and then we use that historical data to uh relate to whatever the thing is that we're talking about and then you know the rest of it is um pretty good so I'd rate this content at like you know 90th percentile content maybe 95th percentile like AI generated content 90th percentile like blog content uh there's no real need to pay somebody to do this level of stuff

### [36:08](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wq5zQPtNH1I&t=2168s) Proposal Generation Flow

for you the only point of me paying for Content at this point would be if you want like journalist level quality where you want some sort of social proofer Association a flow like this can do it pretty quick um at the end there what we do is we create a Google doc article just like I showed you we update a row in a database just to add that as a line item and then ultimately I create a slack message just to notify me and the team that the blog article is ready this is a Facebook ads new lead form submission to slack automation I'd rate this as C tier super simple as we see it's just three nodes or modules in make um we are catching a new lead event what you can do in Facebook is when a new Facebook lead ad comes in you can grab all of the fields or whatever Fields you want selecting this button you can get a bunch of lead details so this is when I was running a campaign for 1 second copy in Vancouver I had a form called agencies basically what I do is I just notify my team say hey there's a new agency lead it's making over 50k a month or 10K a month not sure why there differences there but whatever and then we also store a bunch of information about uh you know the specific lead and their name and so on and so forth so not an amazing automation but just to show you guys that you guys can automate the hell out of inbound Facebook lead ads inquiries this next flow is the beginning of a very high Roi hiring flow I'd rate this as a tier this is directly made me probably over $100,000 it's difficult to know with hiring flows because it's difficult to really be able to say oh I hired that person because of this form flow and they made me several $100,000 so it's because of the form flow right but obviously if we're speaking pragmatically flows like this allow you to reach many more people in a shorter unit of time they also save you a fair amount of money in the front and the back end so let me run you through what something like this does basically um this watch is a type form anytime you see these sort of three nodes here with um a watch then a sleep and then a list responses on type form all this is doing is just getting responses it's just a design pattern that um I do in make. com that allows me to test my type form anytime I want I basically grab all the data from this list responses node and then anytime I want to test I just unlink drag the schedule over and then I just run it over and over again um but this just allows me to do both testing and then production stuff kind of simultaneously anywh who um what we do is basically I have a type form set up type form looks like this so it's like hey what role are you applying for so depending on the role that you want in the company in our case when I created this was just video editor you would select the role I would post this form on indeed I'd post this on upwork I'd post this all over Facebook and so on and so forth when I'm looking for hires for the specific role then it would give you some information about who I am this is back at the 40,000 subscribers days actually no this I created this when I was much smaller but I've actually recently updated this because I needed to hire a video editor and then um you feed in your contact details here you feed in a portfolio with a link to your work here you feed in your location start date your weekly availability your hourly rate this is interesting ask people for what hourly rate they want when they work with you because it'll have them compete against each other in order to give you a better deal it also allows you to see who's ambitious who's a risk taker who's willing to throw a large hourly rate out there if they think they deserve it and so I kind of look at both ends of the scale you know I look at the people that bid me a lot and then little they bid me a lot I'm like okay so that guy's clearly slapped his dick on the table what's cool about him let's let me take a look if maybe she's bid me very little I'll be like hm okay like what about her has made her bid so little I think her work's pretty good can I be getting her at a discount here and if so if I paid her a little bit more would I be able to make a multiple on her ambition at her work right it's kind of a neat little hiring trick anyway I get some comments then I do next step so what happens after you fill this puppy in you get added to this hiring pipeline this is a hiring pipeline where we have the name on the left hand side we have the date that they came in on the next column over then you have the status new applicant reviewed request trial review trial onboarding hired not a fit okay this is our hiring pipeline a pipeline is just a ser of stages this is ours then we have a link to their portfolio we have their email address and then we have their uh their route as well so sorry their rate as well so $9 $12 $13 um I don't know like uh sorry the rat's $9 total is $13 1510 15 30130 um you know Source being up workk indeed reddits so on and so forth video editor roll comments uh we we have all the fields here I guess basically what I'm saying so what's the value in this well the value is not just this okay the value is that when you change the status of one of these records from new applicant to request trial what happens is our flow will automatically get their clickup information then send them a customized email saying hey I really liked your portfolio and I want you to do a trial job for us below is a link to a form which explains the trial gives you a brief and then even tells you how to upload the finished product remember to invoice us when you're done cuz I want to pay people for the test work that they do for me they tend to do a much better job then I link them to my trial form right over here and I also embed a bunch of URL parameters upwork location hourly rate email clickup ID okay what does the form look like looks like this now is a completely autonomous hiring flow I have uh with one major exception I get the portfolios and then all I have to do is look at them and verify this person is what I want if they are what I want then I send them this form they automatically go through this form do the steps the invoicing is the currently only manual portion of this and then once they're done um their status updates from request trial to review trial and then I can review the work that they've done assuming their work is good I can then um hire them and then that hiring section starts another sequence of automations which ultimately has them um you know do things like send me over their payment information create a wise account so that I have easier payment access and so on and so forth the next flow is a new systems audit request and this is one of the newest ones that I built here um I just built this uh maybe within a month or so basically what happens is we have this um you know when somebody goes on my website here left click wants to work with my agency basically they need to fill out this big form okay this big form runs through a bunch of questions about what type of business you run what your business does are you looking for a onetime project or an ongoing monthly relationship what do you want to help with what's your current monthly Revenue what's your website URL and so on and so forth and then you know you put in your contact right here at the very end there's a booking page okay at that booking page at that moment when you fill it out first of all I have a filter that filters out fake entries because I'm getting a lot of fake entries just being somebody that you know it's in the five figure soon to be six figure YouTube subscriber Mark then what I do is I check my database to see if this person that just submitted a request has already submitted a request before if not if they're new then I proceed because I only want to do this once what I'll do is I'll actually use AI to template out an Emil email for this person okay this is what the email looks like it says hey what's going on person and in this case it's just saying JJ because I want to you know offc the data so hey JJ thanks for booking a call that request looks exciting I'm out of the office immediate uh right now but I'll look over everything as soon as I'm back and send you a followup with some thoughts looking forward to learning more about what you're aiming to achieve cheers and then for whatever reason I say cheers twice so maybe I shouldn't have used the cheers term I was wondering why nobody was responding to me no I'm just kidding it's not that big of a deal but so here's the value here um I sent this email within like one minute okay so they or within 2 minutes they fill out the form and they're thinking all right so somebody will call me back in like a week probably because that's most people's experience with marketing agencies and then they get an email from me presumably the person that they wanted to work with this whole time within like a minute so now what are they thinking damn okay um wow these guys are really good um and I think my yellow just went on so pardon that um I use f. lux I'm going to have to find a way to turn that off but uh yeah you know like uh how cool is that right so now looking forward to learning more about what you're aiming to achieve cheers so now you're thinking hm okay this guy's actually here he's saying it looks exciting he's out of the office now but he's going to send me a message back then what do I do 10 minutes later which I wait using um sleeps inside of make sleep 75 seconds sleep 85 300 I sent them another email saying hey circling back to this all of this stuff looks great there may be a couple of gotches depending on the specifics of what you're looking for but I don't think that'll be a big issue I'm ceasing STI my partner on custom projects whatever they requested really he'll start by scoping this out seeing if there's any other contacts who might need in a call seeing it's a fit I'll then record a private video for you going over any last minute details oroom and then once you confirm all of us can get together to kick things off excited about this Santi please help JJ through anything he needs I'll check the recording after the meeting why am I doing this because I've just been jumping on a lot of meetings recently it's hard for me to continue making the time for this so I'm looking to build out infrastructure that allows other people to take these calls yet for them to still have a personalized experience or at least the perception of a personalized experience with me so this um this is like an autoresponder system where I do all of it completely autonomously so that by the person by the time 15 minutes after they book The call they're thinking wow these guys are really on top of their I can't wait to work with Nick you can imple implement the same system for any sort of agency flow whether you're taking the calls yourself or somebody else is taking the calls for you this next system I would rate as B tier it's an automatic invoice collection system basically the way that it works is once every day at 7:30 I will search through a Google sheet that looks like this isn't the same Google sheet I use I just wanted to have a Google sheet so I use an example Google sheet based off what a video demo I did a while ago but basically this is a list of invoices that I've sent to people that I'm currently waiting on collection now one thing that you'll know uh when you work in the agency space is a lot of people take forever to get their invoices back to you and if you're not constantly on top of your ship some people just won't pay your invoices at all regardless of the good service that you do so this is the simplest way to follow up with uh overdue invoices this is one of the most straightforward ones to put together ever as you see I mean this has what one two three real nodes or modules and then everything else is just like a router duplicate of the last one so how does this work basically every day I'll search through this Google sheet looking for a status that is overdue okay you can do this with like your stripe invoices your QuickBooks invoices whatever they all have similar Fields I'm just doing this in a Google sheet for Simplicity purposes and then what you do is you just have a bunch of routes could say hey how long has it been since uh that invoice is created if it's been 7 days since I sent this I'm going to send this email Okay then if it's been 14 days I'm going to send this email if it's been 21 28 days then I'm going to send this email if it's been 35 days I will send this email it's 42 okay you can obviously make this as long as you want if you wanted to you could keep this puppy going for the next year you could make this I don't recommend this but you can make this arbitrarily long right you could say okay well this is two months that's three months that's four months so on and so forth maybe at some point you start throwing legal letters in I don't know do whatever the hell you want to do right but this is the simplest and easiest automatic invoice collection system where you just follow up repeatedly about the invoice you can like weave it in to have the link to the invoice you could do a bunch of stuff but yeah I like the system for that reason alone this is a cold email ice Aker generator system I'd rate this as a tier I made well over $200,000 with this system or a slight variant of this system not this exact scenario but uh basically this system and then like a couple of duplicates of it it's actually split into two so we have one over here that searches the rows of a big Google sheet then makes an HTTP request over to another make. com web hook which is pretty neat this make. com web Hook is this scenario which catches it and then one by one generates a customized Icebreaker using artificial intelligence a little bit weaker than uh the Deep personalization method that I have talked about on this and or I will talk about on this in other videos but it's still pretty great basically we say write an icebreaker a on line customized introduction for cold email campaign use the provided data from LinkedIn as context here's some guidelines and then ultimately here A bunch of examples of what I want uh what we're going to feed you and then what I want okay so this hypothetical person Jamie is going to get an email says hey Jamie love your podcast I consider myself the intersection of blockchain AI and VR as well so i' cons I'd figure I'd reach out the title said hello Jamie mate so you run a pre late Seed Accelerator and podcast if you're Jamie and you run a pre Seed Accelerator or a late Seed Accelerator and you're also doing a podcast and you get an email like this are you thinking that AI wrote the specifics of this it's lower case uh you know it's kind of Mis formatted no obviously you're thinking human being at least wrote the subject line right sure maybe they used a title or something like that but for the most part you're like okay that's a person what does that do that buys you a few seconds them reading the rest of your email which allows you to put your super high I offer in front of them pretty cool what does the actual sheet look like it kind of looks like this um so we just go all the way over to the right hand side here uh as you see we have a personalization column all the way at the right so hey Ellie noticed you're blending blank hey Paige running a podcast Hey Jake as a fellow design Enthusiast hey KCs you're hosting the how to trade it hey Paul saw you manage podcast production at insert company um so what you do is you make that Google sheet column and then you can either automatically or uh what I do is cuz you know I'm always quick and dirty anybody that watches any of my videos will know that I don't actually like build despite being the automation guy I don't like building all these super dedicated systems right off the ge-o I like just like taking something making the quickest and dirtiest MVP of it and then going out there and making real money with it um so what I do is I just take that and I just I export it and then I feed it and import it into uh instantly every couple of days realistically this next system is a proposal generation flow it's a little bit different from some of the other ones that you might have seen me or other people do I'd rate this as s tier I've made several hundred, with this system I don't know how many I mean I've sold at least $200,000 like using this platform alone but um you know in terms of how much money it's made me some of these contracts are still ongoing um I've had some of these clients for a very long time so to run you through it basically uh this system is pretty straightforward we watch a discovery call forry the discovery call looks like this okay you basically log a discovery call when you're on the call or done with them what you do is you say do you want to send a proposal do you want to attend their meeting did they not attend the meeting or is it not a fit you add the clickup ID of the record this is just added automatically based off URL prams if you didn't though this is your opportunity to do so you enter the name of the company here the uh company's website then you ask a bunch of questions hey what's the company's average closing rate so while you're talking with a person you say listen like I think I could crush this for you and generate you 100 leads in the next month but if I'm real with you let's say I did generate you 100 leads in the next month how many of these do you think you could realistically close they say 25 so I say okay 25% what's up next hey um you know assuming that I Clos one deal for you like how much money are you actually making off of that deal let's just get down to Brass tax they give you some number sorry my series is going crazy that's pretty funny keeps on thinking that I say it name um what's the average order value I don't know 2,000 bucks what are the specific problems that you wanted highlighted in The Proposal so I actually put some specific information in and then you know what happens I actually go and I feed all this into Panda do which is a proposal generation platform and I go and I automatically generate um a bunch of high quality proposals for the person that I can send immediately so this is what the proposal looks like we have a title page we have a what you're getting page so let's be direct the purpose of a business is to generate revenue and right now your company is having a problem doing so here's a bunch of your specific problems right now you're lacking this you're lacking that I think that realistically I could help you that's where we come in we guarantee your service because I do because we know it works dozens of high performing agency and service businesses use us to generate tens of thousands of dollars a day here's what you can expect then I have a bunch of benefits that are templated all of these are growth based so this is my like growth system then I run people through how I do it to investment models so they could do offer creation campaign set up Fe you with 100 bucks per booked sales call they could also do a revenue share this is where you make most the money in the stuff by the way um specifically with like higher ticket companies but this is uh I don't know if I'd sell this exact offer today to be honest I haven't sold anything with this proposal in quite a while but uh this is where you make most of the money usually you get companies that are like oh yeah sure okay like when I win you win so 9% of all revenue generated sure I'll do that uh and then you start printing right they sign like a $445,000 deal and you make like 6,000 bucks off it that's sweet anyway then we have some guarantees some social proof and then you have some partnership terms down here as well as a Services agreement and yeah that's the automation pretty straightforward right but as you could see automations don't have to be complicated in order to make you a ton

of money cool I'm going to leave it at that obviously this isn't every automation I've ever made I probably made over a thousand at this point but I thought this would be a quick hit or summary of probably the most relevant ones to most people that are watching my channel um if you guys like this sort of thing let me know down below what other automations you'd like to see me cover obviously this is mostly make. com with a sprinkling of nadn I'm doing sorry I got a funny text I'm doing a lot of them these days so if you guys have any U recommendations or whatever just let me know in my YouTube comment scraper will take it and then make that into an idea for me otherwise if you give me a big saw like subscribe do all that fun YouTube stuff that gets me to the top of the algo and I'll I'd love to make more videos like this to run you guys through my experience with my agency and then ultimately the systems that I built so if you if you like it give me some love and then I'll use that as a an indicator that you guys want more of the stuff have a lovely rest of the day I'll see you on the next one cheers
