To generate a song, you simply have to type of a text prompt. Let me show you how to create these prompts. from one of the biggest AI companies right now so the website is called stableaudio. com the name is stable audio and it comes from a company that makes stable diffusion if you heard a stable diffusion that's probably one of the best text to image generation platforms out there and it's open source so a lot of your favorite text to image generation platforms are using stable diffusion they have a Music Creation platform now called stable audio all you have to do is create a free account so you could get started with it they do have a paid upgrade though let me show you exactly the difference between the different plans so this is the free one here that I'm using I'm going to go ahead and upgrade to the professional mainly because I want the commercial use here to be able to license this and use it for things like my video so I'm going to go ahead and upgrade to this plan and this one gives you 20 tracks the free version all the way up to 500 I probably don't use more than 20 but they also give you a longer duration so this is a 90 second and this one actually lets you do even longer than that so the 45 second option though is the free option so you could compare the different plants here really easy to see the difference okay now let me show you how to generate a song and these are basically done with a simple text prompt that you could type over here and there is a page that actually walks you through this that I'll point out in a second but right here is your text prompt right here is the model so stable audio if you just want to learn more about that you could click over and it's going to kind of explain the model so I'm sure they're going to add different models they usually roll out one model and then they improve on it and give you access to choose and then the duration here again 45 seconds is what I have with the free version so that's all the settings I have and down here anything I've created here I could go ahead and download from here so what do you exactly put in this text prompt let me press the guy to show you because they walk you through exactly how to come up with these prompts here so this section right here for prompts it says first add details so if you want something specific if you have something in mind like genre or if you know the instrument or the mood you could type that here and it's going to give you an example here for what that would look like then you want to set the mood so music like groovy music rhythmic music emotional beautiful then you choose the instrument if you want I'm going to show you exact things you could just copy and paste but this actually gives you a really good formula so it's just telling you basically use these four different pieces if you know about instruments if you're a musician this is obviously way easier beats per minute this one is actually useful so you could say 170 beats per minute that's really fast if you want something really slow you could be 60 or 70 beats per minute and then here it gives you a bunch of different examples so here is a prompt example so you could kind of see exactly what it's doing this one is good this one has the beats per minute as well at the end of it so a lot of times I put beats per minute at the end to get that kind of the pacing that I want or you could be very simple calm meditation music to play in a small Lobby so you don't have to actually type in all these more specific things let me just go ahead and press play on this one okay you get the idea pretty good so you could listen to some of these to get an idea of how to do this takes a bit of practice but what I've done is I actually compiled based on different categories I'll make this available on my website for download here for free but for example on the category of happy and cheerful a lot of the background music I use in my videos fall in this category so I've created a bunch of different uh prompts here that you could copy and paste and I've done this for a different category so epic powerful inspiring uplifting upbeat and so on there's a bunch of them here let me choose this one here this is under the upbeat category this one is good pop Summer Festival 120 beats per minute I'll copy this over all you have to do is come over here and you could paste a prompt into this box so all you have to do is paste it or type it out here if you're not using a prompt guide here and you just have to press this arrow and sometimes this takes maybe 10 20 seconds to generate the music for you so you'll kind of see this music generation page so you won't be able to press play till it's done but I'll show you in 10 20 seconds exactly what this sounds like okay it's done here let me press play okay that's pretty good and let's say I generate again but if I like it if I just press this I could download the MP3 file wave is a better quality audio file so you could actually upgrade if you want to get that but in this case MP3 is just fine for one I'm using it for and here it is on my computer it just opened the music app okay pretty good so then I could take it from there add it to my videos whatever I want to use it for I could go ahead and do that again I'm going to upgrade my plan to the Pro Plan because I'm going to use this commercially the free plan does not give you commercial licensing so make sure if you want to use it just outside of personal reasons go ahead and upgrade very inexpensive for what you could do with 500 different songs for that plan and then up here it's going to show you how many songs you have left based on what plan you have so every time you generate it will take up one of these but pretty interesting tool again this is stable audio and it's from the company behind stable diffusion
