called my heritage family tree and i really wanted to focus on this really mind-blowing option that it has where it brings photos like old photos to life so you could literally scan a photo or take a picture of a photo get it in this app and then it brings it with ai animation into life like your great grandmother you could scan that picture and bring it to life it's gonna blow your mind let me you do have to actually sign up for this app you can't skip the sign-in process but i went ahead and signed in with my email and then it's gonna ask information about you and information about your immediate family like your mom your dad your grandparents because the intention for this app is to create a family tree the photo option is actually an additional step here so the first thing is go through these steps and then you don't have to pay you could actually do the free option here or the free trial that unlocks everything the free option is a little bit limited but it should get you the one or two pictures that you're looking for or go ahead and get the 14 day free trial now you should land on this page and if you don't press the three lines on top and press home this is the home page and basically everything the app has to offer shows up over here including a family tree so your family tree will show up like this again i haven't added any information here just for making this video you also could discover other people here so there's a discovery tab where you could discover people to add to your family tree i'll do a deep dive on this app in a later video right now i really want to show you the photos option click photos and on this page you won't have anything just yet but if you press the plus sign it will actually let you scan a photo you see the scan option there or add a photo i'm gonna add a photo or you could press the camera option right here to take a picture i already took a picture i pulled up this picture on a different screen and took a picture of it let me click on it and i'll press next so that's what you want to do you want to basically bring in a picture here and then just press upload right on top over here and there is your picture okay there it is i'm going to tap on it right here and let me show you the few options before i show you the nostalgia effect here this middle one here basically is going to colorize your picture for you if you use a black and white picture so you can kind of see it's just really making your picture much more modern than used to be the option next to it let me press that one this one's pretty cool it's gonna really make it modern and colorized let me show you this option the other one kind of restored it this one is a little bit of a different style restoring where it just makes it look a lot more modern it's very cool let me press down here but now let me show you the nostalgia effect where it's going to animate and bring this to life press the last option over here and give it a second and look what it's going to do look at this it basically used ai right here to bring that really old picture to life and this is not the only animation if it doesn't look quite right if you press this down arrow here there's a bunch of other animations just by default he chooses one of them but you could choose a different one to see if it creates a different style here that you like more and here's a different one right so now to get this to a social media platform outside of this app press the up arrow you could go ahead and share it on tick tock on instagram directly from here or even save it as an image to your camera or you could just go ahead and press this download option here on the far right and it will just go ahead and download it and save the animation now if i go to my camera library there it is it's downloaded a few times because i pressed that button a few times and when you're done just press done and you're back to this page now anytime you could go back press the plus sign bringing more pictures and continue to do this process but there is a limit i believe in how many you could do for free unless you do the 14-day free trial ### family tree building out your family tree the other restoring option the app has for old photos you could also do this with new photos it doesn't have to be old photos i just chose a whole photo to show you all the different options but i'll make more videos about this because this app really blew my mind the first time i tried it out i hope you found it useful i'm going to give it a 5 out of 5
