Skillshare is an online learning platform with easy to follow and short format videos on creative skills like photography, filmmaking, and animation.  

The Skillshare iOS app allows you to search and explore any course and you can easily subscribe monthly or yearly and view as many as you like online or offline.

everyone in today's Apple today we're gonna look at an app called Skillshare and if you've never heard of Skillshare it's an online learning platform where you could learn different skills like photography or Photoshop drawing things like that and it's one of my favorite websites that abused for quite some time it's a really great way to jump in search for something that you want to learn by a course and it's very structured in very short video so the videos are usually 10 minutes or less and you can learn from it by following an entire course full of videos 10 minutes or less so it's one of my favourite websites to learn anything but that app brings all that to your mobile phone so I really wanted to make this app of the day to show you how to use it I'll put a link in the description as well to Skillshare so you could try it for yourself at the end of this video as every single app of the day video I'll give them my rating from 1 to 5 and if it's your first time here I make these type of app of the day videos multiple times that we so you never miss the next great app so please consider subscribing let's jump into the App Store look for Skillshare we're gonna go ahead and download it I want to show you exactly how to get the most out of the app so again the app is called Skillshare all one word and I download it and open it but it does require you to go ahead and either sign in or sign up so I'm gonna press get started for free and go ahead and use one of these options to sign in you can't skip this step to check out the app you do have to sign in and you're gonna get a pop-up that's gonna ask you to sign up for a annual membership or a monthly membership and it's pretty inexpensive once you see everything that you get with this app and you could go ahead and do a completely free trial so the link I have below will give you that free trial I'm gonna go ahead and exit out of here and I could actually view everything without subscribing just yet so I could see what this has to offer as always you have a search option on top that most of these type of apps do have so for example if I wanted to learn photography I could just type in the word photography and then go ahead and search and it's gonna give me a bunch of classes related specifically to photography and as you could see they're relatively short this is a little bit different than fulong courses that are ten hours or so a lot of these courses could be 20 30 50 or only a couple of hours long at most so this is really great to learn things this way based on that let me go back on the home page to show you a little bit more one of the best things about this app is its simplicity the search option comes first and you're usually gonna use it but you could basically say best in creative and then take that drop down and you have a bunch of other options here and it does go beyond creativity marketing and business and entrepreneurship is also part of it but if I chose film-production it's gonna give me things related to film production here which is super useful there's also try classes here but that's all you get on the home page on the bottom you have my classes tab so as you get more classes you go ahead and add them here and you have your profile option once you do sign up you could also download and view offline which is one of the useful options of the app but really that's all there is to that I really just wanted to make you aware of Skillshare and the fact that they had a mobile app here on iOS I had no idea and I was consuming everything on a website but now I'm really gonna use this app to add more classes here and just to give you an overview of a class let me just click this Adobe premier class you have your different class instructions and different sections here laid out as you can see it's locked before I do the free trial or the Premium Membership you could learn about the page here how many students are part of this project and you could see a discussions tab which is kind of useful to get your answers and on top if you press the three dots you could play this at a faster rate which is one of my favorite options and you could share it that is one of the things that I really like is I could sometimes double speed through a course that I already know a little bit about and that's the gist of Skillshare on a mobile device I hope you found this video useful please give it a thumbs up and subscribe for easy to follow app with the day videos and I'll catch you next time thanks for watching
