everyone in today's app of the day video we're gonna look at an app called postmates is a food delivery app so it lets you deliver groceries food from different restaurants different fast-food places to your home to your office even delivers alcohol so let's jump into the App Store the app again is called post mates and we're gonna go ahead and download this app and I'll walk you through the app now there are a bunch of other apps like this that you may have heard of there's over Easter's doordash that i've used before but Postma is one of the most popular ones we'll look at it in this video let

me go ahead and open the app for the very first time here and you have to give it access to your location otherwise it's not very useful it's kind of like uber if it doesn't know your location it's not very useful so I'm gonna allow that to happen and here you either have to log in or sign up it's not gonna let you check out the app without doing that so I'm gonna go ahead and sign up you could use Facebook or sign up with email I usually I'm gonna type in my email here and we'll go to the next step I'll make a password so since I use my location I live in the suburbs of Chicago so it's not available just yet where I live but it's available in major cities so I'm gonna choose it for my work in Chicago my work is in downtown so it's definitely available for that so I'm gonna choose that city here so here's the homepage of that basically if you just set up your location here so you could just scroll and check out some of the options so you could get Chipotle for example order to your home on top of this page there is a search option so you could search this way so if you want to order pizza sushi Thai Indian you could just search that way for example I'll choose Mexican in this case and see what it gives me as you could see for delivery all these options show up so if I want to talk a burrito King I could just press that and it's gonna tell me how long it's gonna take to get that it's gonna give me that address where this is coming from and it's gonna give me some options as far as what I want to get under the category so I could just choose this way if I want a burrito or dinner but it also has a popular option so you can see what people typically order from here so it's really easy to do that let me just go ahead and pick tacos for example here and then here it says choose your protein again different restaurants are going to tell you different things I'm gonna go with steak here let's keep all the rest of it and then it says it's gonna be 369 and you could change how many you're gonna get let's say I'm gonna get three I'm gonna press add and now that I've added it to my cart I could just go ahead and press view Cart this is what I'm getting if I have a promo code I could put it here and then there is a delivery charge and a small card fee because I'm not getting much food here I could press Continue and then I could put in my address delivery charge is usually very minimal really so typing her address here make sure you put your number and your name here and that's pretty much all it takes to finish your delivery you'll have to put in payment information but that's pretty straightforward as far as that goes let me go back to the home page here just to show you a couple more things if you

press the dollar sign on the home page it says give $100 get $100 they always are running promotional ads again because there's so much competition in the full food delivery network that they're gonna have to run a lot of competition so it's gonna give you an invite code you could type in mind you could get $100 I could get $100 it's pretty cool way to get people to use this app and get some free credits here and again on the home page if you press your profile icon on the top corner here it's gonna take you to this page and you'll have a Settings icon go ahead and press the Settings icon and here you could see some other options you can put any IRS payments and things like that and you could even become a postman delivered with postman is basically a job opportunity so if you want to check that out that's also available right within that band you could sign up for that separately from that so that's basically all there is to the post made up it's that simple right there on top you have your delivery option where you could use your current location or typing an address right here in the middle of the page you could check out what they have to offer every day they refresh this page so every day the different categories are always being refreshed here and you could always use the search option to find exactly what you're looking for I hope you find the post mates at useful I think it's pretty useful even though there's a lot of competition I've been using doordash for a while but I'm gonna give post nice to try now I think they're absolute I really nicely I hope you found this video useful please give it a like and subscribe to this channel I post app of the day videos multiple times a week so you never miss the best great app and I'll see you on the next video thanks so much for watching
