own training process which can then improve the overall smartness of the model leading to an infinite cycle where this model models intelligence just absolutely goes through an insane graph so this is human progress but this is the graph that many people are suspecting will essentially happen once you get to this trip wire phase where we set of this artificial super intelligence think of it like this let's say you were a robot and you were smart enough to improve your training process now instead of let's say a month for you to train your own model train your brain your memory and everything it takes you 14 days now because you're now improving at a rate of every 14 days you can improve the cycle once again and let's say you shorten it down to 7 days so now you're even smarter and 7 Days in you are now improving yourself at Double the rate so before you're approving once a month now you're approving every 2 weeks 7 days and you're even smarter and because you're even smarter you can find a way to get that Improvement down even more and the thing is that this can keep happening you can keep improving yourself recursively to the point where the intelligence has no limits and I think this is one of the things that whilst yes it does sound crazy that a model could potentially do this you have to remember that certain people out there like elas ATK are trying to create artificial super intelligence that's literally their goal right now and that guy is a genius so I wouldn't bet against them to create artificial super

about this because this is coming sooner than you realize and Microsoft's Mustafa sulliman says that his team is crafting AI companions who will see and remember everything we do which will constitute an in Intimate relationship with AI now I think our relationship with AI is going to change I think we're going to go from chat Bots to these systems that are constantly on constantly monitoring us and we're constantly going to be able to say hey um is this okay is that working yada y yada and just literally like for example right now I'd be able to say hey chat gbt how do you think I'm doing recording this video and it's going to be able to respond now of course I don't think it's going to be something that's forced upon us but I do think that over time a lot of people will opt for that lifestyle because it might just be easier rather than saying hey chat gbt you know opening up the app and saying hey can you note this down they probably just going to be say hey chat BT you're listening note this down and I think that will be most certainly embedded into some future phone as a native app on device that works really well don't even think of this as an application I fundamentally a relationship you know I I'm my team and I are now in the business of engineering personality we're crafting a lasting meaningful trusted relationship that is the new platform as far as I see it because it's not just about Voice and text or language you know it's really going to be about Vision um you know your companion is going to see everything that you see in your browser and on your desktop in real time understanding both the text and all of the images and able to talk to you about it as fluently as I'm talking now and so trying to craft that into an application and a business model too soon almost sort of Misses we actually also had the open ai1 Team talk a lot about what they uh you know I don't want to say they think it's coming next it's them they're going to you know tell you exactly what's coming next and um basically it was a good video because it got to show us you know the real use cases of the 01

access to tools having these systems have access to tools just basically means they are whole lot better to use so that's something that you can also plan for dynamic model selection basically just means your life is going to get a whole lot easier because if they do release more models you've got a ton of different models to choose from you've got gbt 4 mini gbt 40 GPT 4 canvas 01 mini 01 preview and then you might have the 01 model and you might have gbt 4. 5 or 5 which is just way too many models for the average person to pick from and we all know that you know that can lead to analysis paralysis so the Paradox of choice is something that they're going to remove with way you enter one prompt and then it picks the best model to answer that and it's a much more seamless experience let's touch on what's next we are planning to make several updates to these models over the coming months we plan to continue developing and releasing models in the new A1 series as well as our GPT Series in addition to model updates we expect to add web browsing file and image uploading and other features to make them more useful uh in use cases in chat and while even today you are able to switch between models in the same conversation like you saw in the demo we're working to enable chat tvt to automatically choose the right model for your given prompt in terms of model updates we've already started to test and run evals and open 01 which is the next iteration in this re following This

research preview compared to 01 preview users can expect more powerful reasoning model that is even better at coding and math as you can see in these EV vals where o1 represents the orange bar we look forward to making o1 available to customers as we build as it will build on the use cases we saw today and likely unlock more use cases with its powerful reasoning capabilities and now I'll hand it back and I can't believe I didn't realize this when I actually made the video but you can see right here on this blue bar that this is actually GPT 40 so gbt 4 in a model update very soon is going to be getting a decent buff to its competition math and its PhD level science questions the GP QA so that's going to be pretty cool because I can't believe I didn't realize that because I was just so focused on 01 but you're going to see that those models are actually getting a huge boost now we also had nvidia's neaton model which surpassed GPT 40 on many different benchmarks it's basically a fine tune version of llama 3. 1 the 70b version that manages to surpass the current version of gbt 40 which blew everyone's socks off I think most people didn't realize that whilst Nvidia is a hardware company they can still cook up some pretty cool models using a variety of different techniques and that's exactly what they did with the neaton model and this was something that took the AI Community by quite the surprise I did make a full video on that too of course link will be in the description or just go on my channel it's been uploaded in the last couple of days now I know some of you may have saw this but I wanted to include this one once again because I

think this was one of the most underrated updates by far Tesla releasing their autonomous update where they showcased that this robot is now a lot more autonomous than you do think I think the reason that this one was so important is because a lot of people wrote of Tesla due to their recent event having teleoperators when in fact Tesla just wanted to collect data in certain environments you can see here that these robots can literally charge themselves they can pick things up they can walk upstairs they can use their Vision systems this update was surprising genuinely because humanoid robots are just one of the hardest things to do in fact opening ey said that they were going to work on it but they were like you know what no way we cannot work on this is too hard we're just going to focus on software and companies like Tesla are racing forward with the most human looking robots that I've ever seen that are now even more autonomous so this is something that I don't know it's kind of blowing my mind that the future is actually here and this robot is actually autonomous as someone that watched the iroot movie you know exactly how creepy these robots can get but nonetheless it just goes to show how
