One company helped find bin Laden. Now that same AI is tracking civilians legally. The company is called Palunteer. In 2003, the CIA through its own investment fund gave money to build this software. Think of it like a startup investor but for spy technology. Welcome to day six of the crazy AI update of the day. The goal was to connect massive amounts of data and catch terrorists faster than any human could. It worked. This is the software that helped find Bin Laden. But here is where the story turns. Palanteer did not stop there. It got over $2 billion in defense contracts. It builds AI for military drones. Its CEO said their software is in every combat situation he knows of. And then it came home. Palanteer built a tool for US immigration called immigration OS. It pulls your passport, your taxes, your social security, even your license plate scans and stitches it all into one profile about you without you ever knowing. Now, here is what should bother you. The government cannot legally mass surveil its own citizens. So they funded a private company to do it for them. Same result, no rule broken. And Palanteer stock is up 60% this year. Which means you might be investing in the company building the system that watches you. You are paying for your own cage and you do not even know it.
