It got to the point where I was going to commit suicide because I got the disability certificate for life. 2008, I was in a car accident that rocked my body. Ended up in severe chronic pain. And then it got to the point where I couldn't walk on most days. I had TMJ so bad I crushed my own teeth and my mouth while I was sleeping. And then I had the nerve pain so bad and nerve damage that it went through my hands. And this hand was a claw most days. Couldn't do 90% of normal activities. Spent most of my 20s in bed. And when I saw it, I was like, I can't live like this. The pain isn't changing. Nothing's helping me. And I was going to commit suicide cuz I thought it was the only way out. I heard the [clears throat] voice of God who sounded like Denzel Washington in my head. And he was like, it's not time to give up. It's time to get up. Took myself to the bookstore with a little bit of money I had. Bought a Louise Hbook. Started the journey to healing myself from the inside out and switching to natural remedies and fired my doctors, as I like to say, like you guys don't know what you're doing for me. It's not working. really had to rebuild my entire life, business, my mindset, and my body from scratch. In March of 2014, I took myself off disability. I was like, "Stop sending this, cuz if you send it, it's a crutch. If I have nothing, then I'm going to have to swim. " By September of that year, I was the most viral comedian in
