hi welcome once again to the training video this is Janssen today's topic is on creating a comfortable environment at your interview now there's something that you may not know not everyone that is going to interview you is a season interviewer the interviewer may be as nervous or as anxious as you because he or she could be a supervisor or Junior manager that seldom interviews people so how do you create a com environment not only for yourself but also for him or her so that you will enhance and greatly increase the chances of you succeeding at the interview now number one is when you walk into the office the interview room observe look at the surrounding are there any trophies any special plugs anything or values or mission statements on the wall now really observe secondly observe the people how are they dressed like what is their culture what is their mannerism what is their sty and thirdly when you are in the interview room or let's say you're in the interviewer's office look for personal artifacts any photographs on the table anything that tells you about his interest all this will help you do the second thing that is to speak positively about what you see in the environment about the people about the receptionist about anything that's on the interviewer's body regardless of his watch is does he have an interest in golfing or something now the last one that you really do is to establish commonalities what are commonalities supposing you are a golf Enthusiast and you see a golf club there then you may want to go and talk about oh I see that you love golf as well or supposing you are a father and you see a picture of him with his kids there you could ask are they your kids they're really lovely just like my kids they will establish a commonality and a comfortable environment for your interview this is Jensen thank you for
