-- What's up everyone, this was a weekend project that I wanted to share. If you know anything about the world of stage lighting, lighting software sucks. I decided to have Claude connect all of my lights, bypassing software, and it built a pipeline for creating automatic/AI-generated light shows.

Enjoy!

## Транскрипт

### Segment 1 (00:00 - 03:00) []

What's up everybody? This is a little bit of a different video for the channel, but I had so much fun making this, it was I just had to share it. So, this is a showand tell video. So, this is my studio where I work out of and you know, I went crazy with a bunch of DMX stage lighting and you know, smoke machines and all that stuff. And, you know, lighting um software sucks to work with. So, I decided to use Claude code in order to connect all of my light fixtures and all the DMX devices. And, you know, I'm going to show you right now and then afterwards, I'll show you kind of how the whole pipeline works. This is so freaking cool. So, take a look here. This is a little UI it created. The idea is you feed in a track, all right? And then you hit analyze. Now, it's analyzing and extracting the beats and energy, all that crap automatically. There's no AI involved in this process and it takes about a couple sec seconds and you'll see it extracts the BPM um the duration um intro course verse you know it it kind of just understands all the stuff automatically. Now I can choose all the colors that I want it to be a part of my light show color scheme. So, let's just do red and white. And then I can either do a quick generate or use cloud code and I can specify, you know, like a very specific prompt for the light director, so to speak, to go ahead and build a light show out of. Now, this takes a long time and I need to really refine it. But this up here actually does a good job in and of itself. So, if I click build light show, it's going to take a few seconds and there's like literally, I don't know, six or 7,000 cues that's going to show up. And a Q is basically just changing a light. If you were to build this by hand, it would take a million years. So, let's go ahead and hit play. This is so cool. I won't play the whole thing, but uh we'll play a little bit of it. — Now, what's really cool over here, um, if I drag this over, this is called Touch Designer, and that is what's responsible for that, um, reactive video wall in the background. around. Now, there's actually this works with shaders. So, I can literally just go ahead and hit a bracket key to go through all the various shaders that I currently had the system import. Um, some of them suck, I'll be honest with you, but some of them are actually pretty sick and align with whatever is playing through my speakers in real time. I It's pretty insane. And so now I I have like this basically, you know, this easy solution to create crazy light shows in my studio. I wish I had my fogger machine working because it makes the light shows that much cooler because it goes through the smoke. But I just wanted to share that with you. I mean, you can use cloud code in order to connect your DMX lights. and DNMX lights. You just want to put one in like your little office or whatever and just buy a little rig for 300 bucks. Like you can make cool things happen like every time you get an order on your SAS or something, you can have a little light show play. I this is this type of stuff, this hygienic type of coding is like the future 100%. And um I'm excited to share obviously more with what I'm creating. I'm creating a really robust system. This is only a small part of it. Um, and so yeah, make sure to subscribe up for more cool AI And I will see you all soon.
