good morning it is 5 20 in the morning I'm here at Valencia airport about to start my journey to San Francisco for figma's conference conflict and for the first time ever in my life I'm actually traveling business class for a business trip I'm planning on getting some work done on the plane and also planning on getting some rest so when I get there I can dive straight into like conference activities and I'm looking forward to bringing you along with me for the journey I think when I booked a 6 20 a. m flight out to Amsterdam I didn't realize that will mean waking up like before 4am to get to the airport so I'm feeling pretty tired right now but I've made my connection and it's like it's gonna be a faster flight unexpected two is it so I've got about 10 hours and four minutes of safe to enjoy this Trail in business class seat priority for me on this way is to get some sleep but I also would like to spend a little bit of time writing some things for work and then also editing a video so let's see if I can make that happen I'm determined to like actually do business things and business class but when we take off I will show you around thank you foreign

let me show you around the seat in the KLM whatever they call their business class I could not be an airliner for you apparently so as you can see I'm like angled away from the aisle and I have two windows here to look out of we've got plenty of leg room this is like a foot rest that I guess is going to become where my feet go in the Life lap mode in a few moments got a little shelf here where I've stored my tech stuff at the moment there's also this little like cubby thing beside me as well nice big surface here for putting things on as you saw I had my iPad propped up on it just before and then the tray table is just tucked in there another little pocket and because of this like Wing beside me um it feels pretty private like I'm looking around here I can't see another person there was a pillow on my seat of course which I will definitely use to nap in a sec a blanket too I don't think they give you like a mattress thing here um but yeah see it seems pretty comfy I want to check out what is in this amenity kit though oh it's by rituals if it'll focus let's try open this while also not dropping the phone I'm using as my microphone no okay inside this cute little embroidered bag we have a toothbrush socks eye mask I'm guessing these are earplugs they feel squishy and then we have paste oh Japanese mint rituals lip balm and a little moisturizer too we are eight hours nine minutes from Landing I made a good start on anything my video before the meal service but right now I'm gonna make use of this Manatee kit to go brush my teeth and then put this bed in a Lifeline mode to go to sleep or at least try I am meant to be attending a dinner tonight organized by figma with a bunch of other design leaders and I know that if I don't get any rest I'm not gonna make it to that dinner and the chance to get rest on the plane is why I hope business class in the first place so I'm gonna make use of it oh I think we have about three hours flight time left and it's like wait what time is it exactly let me find out it looks like it's around 8 45 in the morning San Francisco time so I'm gonna try to start getting myself into that time zone I got a coffee I'm just gonna read my book a little bit and then get back to some editing and writing thank you it's been a really good flight I got some sleep I edited my video even made the thumbnail I did some writing for work now I'm just writing on my own book I'm definitely looking forward to getting to the hotel and taking a shower there's only 30 minutes to go so I'm gonna keep writing for a little bit I think and then just watch more Abbott's Elementary

Hyatt Regency and we've got a pretty cool view out here of I don't know some Street when I was checking in he was like the highest floor I have right now is the 12th is that okay and it was like how high is the building 12 is good 12 was immediate should we do a quick room tour before we sign off this Vlog um I've got two beds the famous gonna stay with me but then she got invited to speak at the conference and now figma go to our hotel so beside the window we have a little workspace TV and down here the entrance we have the bathroom looks pretty nice nicely done up nice shower and then a closet oh and a mirror that'll be perfect for the con fits photos hope you enjoyed coming along with me on this journey doing business things in business class it's business girly I hope it doesn't come off as bragging in any way to make a video like this I just personally love watching Airline review Vlogs like videos of people traveling in first and business class I've flown business a few times for personal trips when I've gotten like a good deal but this is the first time that I've flown business class for an actual business trip and I feel really proud that my business is in a place where that's something that I can pay for that's like an expense that I can take on uh to get the benefits of feeling really good when I land I feel so much better than the last long haul work trip I did and I know that I'm gonna be able to get through the day go out to dinner tonight and then get to bed at like a normal hour for this time zone wake up at a normal time tomorrow touchwood quick with some wood anyway I am a shower now because it's nicest business classes it's um doesn't have showers thanks for watching stay tuned next week I'll be bringing you my config Vlog where you'll get to live vicariously through me and experience the event it's gonna be a fun time but in the meantime you could go watch this video here when I flew business class on Christmas Day last year foreign
