### Segment 1 (00:00 - 05:00) []

Yep, I did it again. Heat. Wow. All right. I love chips. My chips absolute weakness. I could just destroy this whole bag. Spicy dill pickle. Hot damn. You're a chip guy, right? — This is the best. — Yeah. — Do they have these in America? — I don't chip. — I feel like they don't. — They're so good. Spicy. I don't even like — You're a chip guy, right? — Yeah. You would destroy that whole bag. — This one is so good. It's like I'm going to a nightclub tonight. — I feel really awkward. — I still need to tell you about that. I know you like blue in like your videos, your hat, the Do you still wear the blue hat? — I do. — All right. Now you got the blue backdrop. — Take my things — for the thumbnail. Every time I come to Peter's office, I get to benefit from his process, which is getting free stuff cuz he's like, I don't want this anymore. I don't think — true. — Good luck with this. Thanks, man. — This whole thing, I'm sure it'll be great. — Yeah. The cafe are like always seeing you come out with like hauling stuff like pictures and arts. Only one question. — Yeah. — Is this the last time? — Thanks, Peter. — Bye. — I think as long as I have a space, an office or just like any type of room where I exist during the day to make things, I will always be curating it un until it satisfies me. and the moment it doesn't do its job and I don't feel inspired from that, I'm going to change it again. That's just how I work. It's how I've worked forever. Coming into 2026, there was a ton of changes I wanted to make in here for very many like for many reasons, some of which you know, and I wanted a fresh start. So, my friend Patty, who's a designer, incredibly talented, decided to come in here and just uh take control and and do the whole thing. I figured like, let's get a professional in here to make it look epic. Will I change it again after that? I Yeah, I don't know. Maybe. Probably. That's just what I do. Maybe the next change is me just like building something else somewhere entirely for whatever chapter of my life I find myself in. I just know that. — Okay. Well, I should go. — Okay. Love you. — Bye. — Bye. Like — I will never get used to just like your own kid just calls you. It's so strange. What was I talking about? I think for a while I've probably I've been self-conscious of sharing updates in studios and spaces and stuff just of the fear of like judgment from people being like, "Oh, you can't make up your mind. you're always changing your space and just reading silly comments. But it's I yeah, I I've realized it's just part of my process. That's just how I am creative. My environment is a direct lifeline to my creativity and I love to feel good in my space. And if I don't, I just do whatever I have to feel good in that space. If that's flip everything around, if that's move offices, if like whatever. And I just think like I'm going to be unapologetic about it. And I'll change my office 100ing times until I'm happy. If I feel like it, maybe 200 times. This is the biggest change I've done in this studio yet. This is a full 100% overhaul. Uh and it started in the hallway. We hired a friend of ours who's a graffiti artist and a tattoo artist to completely like cover the roof, the walls, the doors, everything in graffiti. That was Patty's idea as well. And it turned out so sick. Let me show you that. This is our back hallway. Pretty boring. Whitewashed. Nothing going on. Patty thought, why don't you guys slam that entire hallway with graffiti. And that's where Matias comes in. Layers upon layers of paint. Spray, wash it back. base coat on top of base coat.

### Segment 2 (05:00 - 10:00) [5:00]

One of my favorite things about art is being able to watch someone that excels in their craft in an industry that I have nothing to do with who does their thing, their craft very, very well at a high level. That gives me so much inspiration. So, not only does the hallway look sick, but being able to watch an artist like Matias do what he does at the very highest level was an absolute pleasure. Not only that, but it took our boring white hallway to the absolute top of the mountain. I can say now it's not so boring. But there's some things that I'm doing this year specifically to help streamline the process, remove friction and bottlenecks from just things I do on a daily basis. making videos. The passion is as bright as ever. But I'd be lying if I didn't tell you there's 100% some hardship that comes with getting started. Getting out of my own way, being my own worst enemy. The creative side of having tons of ideas is there. The desire to create is there. Getting started is always the hardest part for me. And choice paralysis, you know, having so many options of things to use to tell stories actually makes it for me harder to tell stories. And over the years, um, being sponsored by Canon, I've had the privilege of all of these different tools being at my disposal, both for product launches, product reviews, uh, some things they've sent me just to try out because I've asked or lenses that I wanted to shoot projects with, like a 300 mil to shoot the eclipse with, but the reality is now in 2026, I don't have a use for every single one of these cameras that have been sent to me. So, with that being said, one of the things that I've done is I want to eliminate all of this choice because the camera that I shoot on is the R5 Mark II. I like it. I know it. I'm confident with it. And that's the decision I'm sticking with. All the rest of this is noise. So, it's all going back to Canon. One of the thorns in my side when it comes to this office has always been um this room that I created. It was never here when we built the office. I we put the wall up after the fact, but it's always been like, what do I do in here? Like, what is this an office? Is this like a Yeah, I thought about making it a dark room at one point. I'm glad I didn't do that. We'll get plumbing and get a sink and run water in here and then use it for 2 days and never use it again. It just needs to be a storage room. I think what I used to like so much about my very first little YouTube spot in my spare bedroom was how simple it was. It was a single room with a desk where I filmed, a small closet where my gear was stored. Had a little couch in there, fun little shelf. It's all I needed. And then I went ahead and spent years complicating it. Here we are. We still got to put trim on the windows, sconces on the walls, big bookcase, fill the bookcase. We need task lighting on this wall. I need to redo my entire gallery wall here. Very excited for that. My favorite Matt Barnes photo and a task light. Picture light. Library light. I got to break down all these boxes. Take out all this garbage. I got to get rid of these shelves. I got to find somewhere for all this old art to go. Someone to take it. I got a fridge now. I can fill it with liquid death and film. That's exciting. I got a fireplace that's going in here. That's going to be so sick. I don't even know that I've shown you my giant printer, which is going to be a huge part of hopefully 2026. It's something I've wanted to do since I've walked into a photo gallery for the first time with my dad. I think that's a side to the craft that I've been missing for a long time. And I am ready. I am ready to make it part of this journey. We'll see. So, at last, we have reached the end of this kind of uh January makeover renovation uh project, which I'm very excited about because that means I can hit the ground running and have a space that I feel good in to do. So, before we started this whole thing, I wanted to give myself this month to get things sorted. I wanted to say, "Okay, January is going to be used to dial in some of these systems, this being the biggest one, but dial in these systems so that I'm set up for success, no excuses for the rest of the year. " And that's something that I have I've gained a lot of benefit from. Like I said, not only is it this space, but other systems and practices and points of friction in my life as well that I needed to get dialed, make decisions, commit to these decisions, and come into 2026 unwavering. So January was my month to kind of get my ducks in a row. They are now in a row. We are in the final week of changes here at the studio. So after this week, there should be nothing left to do, which is very, very exciting. I think there's a few lights to put on the walls, some tile, and very, very minimal things. And then some

styling. And then I will show you everything we've done. I will do a full studio reveal. Uh, and this one I'm particularly proud of because Patty did a great job and I'm excited to show you the transformation and what it looks like when a designer does something versus me just stapling things to the wall. And of course, this video and this transformation is made possible because of the fine folks at Squarespace who sponsored this video. The start of the year is the best time to start new habits. Oh, and I also got a new camera that I'm very excited to start using. It's very, very nice. Okay, that's the quick update. I never want to see another renovation again. I never I'm done. I am done forever. It's time to make vids.
