What I have here is my brand new toy from China, and uh... I'm very excited about it. This is because it's supposed to be a really powerful and also kind of dangerous laser. Up until now, I haven't even tested it out. So uh, the first step is to turn it on. Okay, that's going well so far. We have three main functions: welding, cutting, and cleaning. I think the main purpose of this thing is as a laser welder, but I think I just want to blast some laser right now. So I'll just go with cutting. Okay, it tells me... some stuff. And I think that we're good to go. So, I take off my glasses and replace them with anti-laser glasses so that I don't lose my eyes. And yes, put yours on too. We don't need anyone to go blind here. Okay, grab the laser gun now. - Oh, that's cool. - Yeah. Weird futuristic-looking thing. And from what I saw, here there's a grounding thing, and we can just connect it directly to the gun. And that's it. I think now, all we have to do is take a step back and see what does it do to this cardboard. One, two, three. Okay. Yes. You can see it's a pretty big laser by the time it gets out here. Whoa. Okay, so I mean... You got to put this fire out. Yeah, we got to put the fire out before we continue. Okay. Okay, so the fire is under control. And now we've officially proven that the laser does in fact work, but I want to swap over to the different function, which is the cleaning function. So we'll just move this here. Theoretically, it's supposed to be able to derust. - I mean that's cool, right? - Yeah! I mean that was just a small test to see if it would work. But what I really wanted to try to do it on is this. - Oh, my gosh. - Yeah. This is a poor little, uh pan that I destroyed a while ago. Okay, let's see... It's kind of terrifying to be honest. That is so much better than what it was before. I think we can definitively say it works. It's cool to have, but I feel like you should not be able to just buy this laser, with absolutely no questions asked. - Is that how you got it? - Yes Hahahahaha
