NotebookLM: From Beginner to Expert in 13 Minutes!

Today I'm going to show you Google's most underrated tool and this is notebook LM. I'm going to show you how to go from a complete beginner to becoming an expert in this. Even if you've never touched this before, even if you think you're not technical enough, even if you've tried AI tools before and got confused. And here's what we're going to cover. All right, so Notebook LM, I'm going to show you my complete Notebook LM mastery framework. This the exact system I use to turn any messy pile of documents into an AI assistant that knows your business inside out. and I'll walk you through a 30-day plan step by step, day by day with tools and prompts every single prompt step. So, the framework that we're going to be using, the Notebook LM framework, and this is a system I use to turn notebook into a 24-hour assistant that knows everything about my business. I call it the source, study, speak framework. And here's how it works, right? So, the first thing you're going to do is source. And you're just going to upload your best stuff, documents, PDFs, YouTube videos, Google Docs, websites, notebook can read them all, right? So if

you go to notebook length, click try notebook and then from here you can start uploading your best sources. So if we click on create new notebook, for example, and we're going to take some examples of resources from my YouTube channel as you can see. So let's say for example, I'm trying to train notebook on exactly how I can use notebook for my business. I can take the top three videos like you see right here and we'll plug these in as sources inside here. You can also search for sources inside here. So you could say, okay, notebook and then you can do deep research or fast research. Fast research will pull in a bunch of sources. So you don't even need to be able to find the sources themselves, right? You can just quickly source them. Like from here, this is beginning to research a bunch of websites that we can pull in as sources to our notebook so that we've trained it on everything we need to know. Now, whilst we're waiting for those sources to be imported, what we can do over here is we can click on configure chat and I'm going to click on custom. say you are Julian Goldie AI running a agency. And you can insert whatever business you have here. your name is here. And then just customize it to you. You're a helpful business AI automation expert who can help me leverage Nom to get the best results with it. Right? And then from here we'll click on save. And now inside this section we can start asking questions directly. Okay. So for example, we can say okay, how can I use Notebook LM to market my SEO agency, right? Because it's custom trained on all our data, it's easily going to find this stuff. Now, we sourced it and we've trained it. The way that you can train it is by just giving it information on what you do inside the settings here. So you just configure the chat to make sure that it's trained on exactly what you want it to help you with. And then also you make sure you've pulled in all your best resources right here. And then

you're going to summarize, right? to this next section. So we've talked about source train. Now we're on the summarize section and basically you get instant summaries. So study guides, FAQs, timelines, briefing documents all in seconds. So how would you do that? You can for example click on mind map or you could click on for example reports right and just get a quick study guide. You could for example get a data table and that break down all the data about this particular topic and then leverage it into a table. Now in the meantime we've got the information of how we can use collect to market agency. So I could, for example, turn SEO audits into a viral audio experience, right? Sending a 50-page PDF for a client is probably the fastest way to put them to sleep. But Notebook LM has a deep dive audio section which would be way more interesting for my clients. I could, for example, automate my sales intelligence, right? So I could create a client recon notebook which has all the information about each of my clients so that my team and everyone working with that client could actually ask it questions to get help, right? And that can instantly help me summarize stuff. I could create highv value lead magnets in minutes. I could repurpose YouTube content for LinkedIn and Twitter by putting it in here and then created it inside here, right? And so you get the point like you can easily generate whatever you want using this and it's so fast and easy. And bear in mind this is free as well. This is free to use. So we've got the summary documents here. For example, we have the study guide and it's actually given us like a short answer quiz that we can test ourselves to really learn and master notebook. What we can also do is we can use speak, right? So we can turn

everything into audio, AI generated podcasts and YouTube videos, right? So, for example, if we go off here and we're going to click on audio and then video. And you can actually edit these before you generate them. But if you want to autogenerate them in one click, there you go. So, if you click on audio here, you can type in all the information you need to know about that particular audio. And you can choose between deep dive, brief, critique, or debate. Right? And these are four different content types. You can also change your language over here. And you can change the video or the audio between short, default, and long. And also, you can tell it exactly what to focus on inside that episode. Right? So you can see all the ways you can leverage notebook length to get the best results possible with this just by inserting a few different tweaks. Now in

terms of a 30-day plan, I've actually created and laid out for example here. So for example, day one, day two, day three, adding more sources, generating the first summary, and within the first week, you will know exactly how to implement each of this stuff. Now, once you've set that up, in week two, you can start generating your first AI podcast, customizing the podcast, uploading YouTube videos, creating study guides, right? building a timeline, generating a briefing document, and creating content outlines. And basically from days 1 to 30, I've shown you exactly how to master this stuff inside the AI success lab from the notes today. So, for example, here we could say, okay, create an on boarding document from these SOP. And then we can paste that in here and create an on boarding guide. We'll focus on a deep dive and now this is going to create a custom podcast trained on notebook and how to use it. And if we click generate, that will start generating a podcast automatically generates everything we need with this stuff, right? What else can we do? We could do analysis prompts, right? So for example, what patterns do you see across my sources? If you're analyzing data, identify or compare the before and after scenarios. What metrics are discussed in this content? Right? find all the statistics and data points and you could even use this for client work as well. So for example like cl create a client briefing document, summarize project requirements, generate meeting prep notes, etc. Everything you need to really achieve big results with notebook length is inside this list of 100 prompts. We can even for example say okay create a morning routine from this content if you learning about for example productivity or something like that or productivity for entrepreneurs. So basically, you now know everything you need to really get results and to just really improve with AI and notebook. Phil Gamer says Google is just a boss of AI. I would 100% agree

with that. But some people say, "I don't have time to learn another tool. " And I get it. You're busy between client work, content creation, and actually living your life. Who has time to learn another thing? But here's what changed my thinking, right? Walk like 10,000 steps a day. And during those walks, I listen to AI generate podcasts from my own notebook notebooks. And I'm learning whilst getting that content in and whilst getting the steps in. And this tool actually saves me time. It doesn't take time. So the truth is Notebook LM actually reduces the amount of hours you spend searching through documents, answering the same questions, and training team members. you get time back with these sort of tools. Other people will say, "I don't have enough content to upload.
