pull it up but it's here it's here what it's in yeah I'm too scared to C on are you going to come over here you're going to just stay there yeah let see your reaction D it says it's eight it's 1 minute you're anxious you don't know what's going on okay I matched yeah what say it just says congratulations you have matched because you have fully match you are not eligible to participate in the supplemental offer an acceptance program and you will not have access to the list of unfilled programs oh I did it that means I possibly could end up here or anywhere Michigan Texas California congratulations does say hey guys so it's the morning of match day um trying to stay calm right now but I will find out where I match in about an hour and a half just thinking about where I'm going to end up it is super nerve-wracking I guess the one thing I was thinking about is you know if I drop down you know further than my top three and I was thinking would I be sad about that um and I guess the answer is no because at the end of the day the matching process has to do with putting you where you're essentially wanted and desired and so if I drop down to my fifth sixth seventh program then that was the program that most wanted me um so it's kind of a weird way of thinking about it obviously everyone wants to be within you know their top one or two but if you do end up falling further down your list then it's good to realize that that's the program that really wanted you and you don't want to go to a program that doesn't want you um you want to be desired and wanted and so yeah I think the matching process is pretty cool in that way um but here's to hoping I get within my top three I will catch up with you guys in just a little bit oh it's getting so real guys uh just took a shower got my match day shirt on we got the sign over here ready to go my puppy is looking out the window for squirrels and my wife is taking a shower getting ready for match day it's getting crazy we have 1 hour until we find out where we're going to be living for the next 3 years so it's crazy we may have to start planning a move to a different state we may have to start looking for a house or a condo um so everything is riding on where I end up matching today like I've been telling you guys if it's within my top five I will be totally happy um I'd honestly be shocked if I go past my top five and that's really the only way I'll be shocked like if I don't get my number one like I'd be totally fine with my two or three or four you know um but going past like number five then I would probably be a little bit shocked at that point everyone is texting me right now blowing up my phone everyone is so nervous for me and excited so this one is really for everyone out there um you don't become a doctor by yourself so if you had a part in any of this long
