Welcome. And are you all ready? Yes. Go, go. — Okay. I want you to consider this trip as like retreat because I think the meaning of retreat is to make something different to be something change transform or to do different than your daily pattern your daily life. So I think this is the completely different special from tomorrow. No pipe water, no electricity, no cell phone, no internet but we have nice mountain will be nice tree, nice air. Now this is part of our journey and we broke the car. You know the car something is meditating now. It's almost achieve enlightenment right now. Good example of impermanence. — Okay. Now we are following this river. Yeah. — All the way to — this is become like retreat. How? Because there outer, inner and secret retreat. There's three retreats. The outer retreat is is depend on the environment. That's why I think environment has very strong influence. So now let you put yourself in this environment and let go of your normal worry because for almost two weeks you cannot do anything. You're already here. So even you do try to worry too much it's not going to be any benefit you know. So let go for two weeks. Let go of your stress, your worry, your ordinary concept and let your mind be with nature. Once you are in the mountain, your mind almost become fresh, clear and your mind automatically some kind of sense of beyond concept. And especially if you aware of that then that's become very good meditation because environment the influence of environment is very strong and environment already helps you to your make your mind become calm peace and beyond concept and now what you have to do is only just be aware of that so it will become from objectless meditation, open or negative awareness like nature mind and then also this trip will be very good teacher for you. You can learn a lot and you may surprise oh it's totally different than my life. You may learn independent karma. You may learn suffering. You may learn impermanence. So I think this lessons if I have time I will introduce you tomorrow or next day. Yeah, I think today I just want to let you know that please consider as like retreat and this is like real pure retreat also and you can apply any meditation walking meditation or just rest into open awareness objeous meditation listen to sound but just be with the environment you know be in the present be with the environment don't live in the past don't bring future These are here but don't block them. Let it be. Don't block worry but don't follow it. Let it be — Nepali style. Not — for me. Now we are Orurara and uh we are going to uh foothill of that mountain looks like near but take seven or eight days. Yeah. Hallelujah.

Bye-bye. is what might like what my There is. Oh, We need Do we need knives? What is That one. — Good morning. — Did you sleep well? — Yeah, very well. — And I'm very happy. survive. We're happy that I'm survived. — This is like cape. My meditation cape. I don't know. Okay. I know.

We can see nettles here. And this is uh very famous food in Tibet. Like milba, great yogi. He eat the natto. You know the nettle is the Malaysia's favorite food. He's h stay in the cave in the mountain. Of course there's nothing much to eat. So there's a lot of nettles here. So but you cannot pick up nettles directly like this otherwise you will have pain you know good for pain meditation maybe but you can pick up with some uh different tools and you boil after boil you can drink. It's very good. Lot of uh vitamins and good for your health. This is very nice. When I was young, I eat a lot nettles. My clothes passion from Paris 2010 November just come out. This is the fourth day. We just finished breakfast. We are now in the morning and the raining now. Uh for me it's nice. I like sometime this weather a little bit rain you know but it's a challenge for every body here. But it's okay. We are happy. Our physical body is pain but our mind is happy. Uh it's okay. We will succeed and um happy for this journey. — Did anyone try to practice open awareness? — Yes. — When you rest on the way? — Yes. — How you feel? — Better. You're hiking up and you have a lot of weight and you're tired and you rest awareness. Yeah. But uh you can have this open awareness not only the resting you can have every moment and special every step when you walk and before the feet reach to the ground you can pause a little bit sometime and you can rest there's few seconds not too long almost like Your you breath relax like not really stop but rest. So in between step there's a gap there's also open awareness. You can find open awareness within that and that also good for you to walk high up because step by step you're in the present moment. Mhm. — You're not future up there — and you're not behind very steep here. Are you impressing and that's with the feet you know and also you can find this open awareness in between thought also. So while you while you're walking You can see different environment, uh land landscape — and each one has different feeling as well. You have each time you have different emotion different thought. So when you change this each one the first before the next thought next emotion that's fresh. It's openness each time there's open awareness you can find in between thought but this we all have in every day but we don't know we don't see it and I think now especially with this journey you will see more so there's open awareness in between thought in between the steps and also shamada meditation you can use as support for awareness shamad medit attention and also you can use walking uphill as support for loving kindness and compassion different ways. Before I told you about pain, how to use pain as support for loving, kindness, compassion. Yeah. Now you are walking and you can think of uphill is

like liberation. — It's like nirvana. I don't remember. What is it that is Little donkey a little. How many of you missing shower? I know. — Bathtub, hot bathtub, shower, warm, whatever. Raise your hand. — This is a stuba is a blessing.
