We are going to have a look how this is manufactured. I went to electro visited their factory in China and uh this is where everything starts. Everything starts with PCB printed circuit board. So they take PCB and in this first step we can see they spread solder paste on the parts. Solder paste is basically solder or tin which later will melt down and solder down the components. This machine is placing surface mount components on the board. Okay, it's finished. Now, the components are still not soldered. Okay, they are only placed uh on the board in the paste. So, in this next step, we need to heat up everything to solder down the components. And that's exactly what is happening in this big oven. So when we have a look on the other side of the oven, all the components here they are now soldered down. This machine is used to check if the soldering process was correct. So it's taking some pictures and measurements and comparing with reference. And when everything is uh okay then in the next step they need to solder down through whole components through all components they have the pins which go through the whole PCB. So there are two ways how it can be done. It can be done manually like here or there is machine which can help with this. But if there are not too many throw component then manual process is fine. Once all the components are soldered down then they need to flash firmware. So on the board very often there may be one or more chips which will need uh some kind of software and that's exactly what she's doing here. She's uploading the software on the board. done. Now it has to be tested. So they have this uh special tool. It's called jig. They collect all the cables and then they do all the kind of measurements and tests to make sure that everything on the board is working properly. And when everything is fine, then the board is ready for the next steps. Before they use the board, they will prepare this plane. So she connected a cable and secured the cable with a piece of tape. Double checking if everything is okay. Now you can see the display is indeped in plastic and uh she's going to build the top lid. now. The bottom part

touch pad, small breakout board with connectors. Now the main part and cables to connect everything together. Here's the keyboard cable and touchpad cable. Connecting the top lid with the bottom part. Securing the cables. Connecting rest of the circuit and the last is battery. Now let's finish uh with the bottom part. The last thing is this cover on the touchpad. before everything is completely finished. It has to be tested. So notice she's inserting this Raspberry P or Raspberry Pi module. This is not a real laptop. Okay, this is a display, keyboard, a touchpad and few other peripherals which uh you can connect to your own computer or your phone and uh you can use it as display or keyboard. Everything has to be tested. Perfect. This is the final testing and now finishing. Everything. Few final touches.
