It's a really good hook for this video. It's not true, but it's a good hook. First of all, this exercise is used mostly as a warm-up or a finisher. And then to perform the movement properly, as you push the weight down, you're going to bring your chest up and you're going to push the weight into your thighs like this. before coming back down, feeling the stretch, and performing the next repetition. So, it's not just a standing exercise. A lot of people just stand here and go like that. You actually want to lean forward, feel the stretch in your lats, and then come down and get that hard flex at the bottom. And as for exercises that will actually help you double the size of your back, every back workout should include one heavy horizontal pull as well as one heavy vertical pull.
