Yes, that is me helping to push a bus out of a landslide in Rwanda. The wild part is we were there in Rwanda visiting our tree planting sites where we are planting trees to help prevent erosion and landslides just like this one. With Rwanda's steep hills and rainy seasons, erosion is an ongoing issue. It's fiber work with the 1acre fund supplying seedlings to farmers who then plant them around their farms and help prevent erosion where it's needed most. When the tree roots grow down, they literally lock the soil in place. You can see it done really well here. The trees planted along the edges of the terrace. That is going to help to hold that entire structure together for years to come. This is year seven of us planting trees in Rwanda.
