### Segment 1 (00:00 - 01:00) []

What's going on everyone? In today's video, we're going to look at a mobilization technique for the media nerve. The media nerve is one of the three major peripheral nerves that goes from our neck down our arm. It's the largest of the three and has the most research on it. So, if you've got neck pain or pain that goes down into your arm, into your thumb, your index finger, your middle finger, this will be an exercise to try. Your media nerve is the one that goes through the carpal tunnel. So, if you have carpal tunnel syndrome, also a good technique to try. So, what we're going to do for this mobilization, Kirsten's going to put her arm out and she's going to start with her wrist in extension and her elbow in extension. And she's going to bend her head towards her arm. Okay? So, that puts tension down here and puts the nerve on slack here. And then she's going to alternate and go into wrist flexion and elbow flexion. And she's going to side bend her head away. And then she's just going to alternate like that. And so basically these nerve mobilizations have been shown to help create glide and sliding movements in the nerve to improve oxygen and nutrient delivery to the nerve and essentially over time help to reduce pain. Okay. So, if you've got neck pain or pain that radiates down the arm, give this media nerve mobilization a try and let me know if you have any questions.
