Everyone comes together underneath one roof and it creates a sense of equality. For a lot of people, it became this very personal space for them. — I like to see it as a space within a space. What we're looking at is a gigantic fabric and it's modulated by four splines of engines that are hanging in the air and the motors can move it over a vertical canvas of 7 m and that's how you can create shapes. — The Fred universe is very dynamic and it like it changes every show and every week. So we really tried to put this diversity in looks and like architectural shift. — There's this beautiful contradiction in the machine that is very exact and the fabric that is very unpredictable. — It has this juxosition between something that you control and something that you have to surrender to. — The static mode that we see now gets wildly different tonight because of body heat. — When you have an audience coming in with a body heat of 37° and they all start pushing towards the storm because they want to see Fred, you get like a sauna of 45 and then it blows up like as if you're blowing up a mattress and it actually creates this beautiful new shape within the shape uh just because the people quite literally become a part of it. The thing that was very different about this process versus other processes is like normally we produce something for a museum and then it's one space for 4 months or 6 months and now it was 14 spaces in the same four months. — All of a sudden, you put your artwork, which is basically normally in an institutional context, in a rave context with a party. In essence, it's it's a DJ set with like a scenery above it. And I guess what I found very interesting as a designer is that when you make a fluid space that is above everyone and everyone shares this space, it can it can really touch you on a fundamental level emotionally, especially when you combine it with this very bespoke music and vibe that Fred creates. So this was something that I never experienced before with the art piece in the other context in the institutional context that like deep emotional connection of the audience. — You get hopeful. You just get hopeful by seeing the amount of joy and togetherness in these spaces. Don't you even think of killing us? —
