### Segment 1 (00:00 - 01:00) []

A lot of anxiety that students have is surrounding the MBE portion of the exam. People leave the MBE portion and they say, "I had to guess on so many questions or there were so many things I didn't see when I practiced or I don't know how I did. There were a lot of issues I didn't know. " And this is common because of the recency bias. We tend to remember what happened last rather than what happened earlier on. And so it's common to focus on the MB after the bar exam. And just remember, if you guess on MBE questions, that's totally fine and normal. A lot of people have to guess on a lot of MBE questions and guess what? They still pass. If you are able to eliminate any answer choices, then that also will greatly help you. If you can just eliminate one answer choice out of four, that takes your chances of guessing correctly from a 25% to a 33%. And if you can eliminate two questions, that takes your chances uh two answer choices, sorry, that takes your chances from a 25% to a 50%. And that might not sound like a lot, you know, 33% or 50%, but over time and over questions, it does add up. And so remember that if you've guessed even if you guessed on 40 questions it does not mean that you failed the MBE.
