Free and easy to use! ## Содержание ### [0:00](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5oGcx3m9bU4) Intro todd trusseter here with financialmentor. com and i've got a quick video showing you how to use the financial calculator plug-in that allows you to embed any of my 80 financial calculators into your post to improve the interactivity and just kind of the quality and feel of the post so we're going to work with this post right in front of you which is pay off mortgage earlier invest so we're going to insert a mortgage calculator before i do i just want to show you this is where you can find all the financial calculators on my website there's 80 of them in a variety of categories so let's go into the dashboard and see how we're going to get a calculator into that post ### [0:34](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5oGcx3m9bU4&t=34s) Insert Calculator this is my wordpress dashboard and i'm going to insert a calculator right here after the line however that just putting one near the top of the post just to make it easy and convenient you'll notice up here so the first thing you do is make a spot for the calculator then you notice up here i've got an add calculator button this is what invokes the plugin it's right next to your add media button so you click on that starts the plugin ### [0:56](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5oGcx3m9bU4&t=56s) Start Plugin and you'll see that there's the eight categories of the calculators to match the ones on my website so you've got ### [1:01](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5oGcx3m9bU4&t=61s) Categories retirement calculators loan payment calculators personal finance calculators there's roughly 10 give or take two in each category and we're going to work with the mortgage calculators here and i'm going to pick the mortgage balance calculator so you select it and go to step 2. so it's a two-step process the first step is you select the calculator the second step is all customization features looks like a lot of stuff but it's really quite simple and once you get it set for your theme you'll just zip right through that so here's samples of what ### [1:31](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5oGcx3m9bU4&t=91s) Customization Samples all these customization settings look like and again it's to make it look like it belongs on your site so you've got a variety of color schemes to match the color scheme on your theme you've got gradient styles gradient is the background color you can see there's various background colors and fades and then you've got shadowing effects so this one shows a shadow right around the outside of the calculator you've got a drop shadow underneath and then you've got a combination of them and then here you can see that you can either set it with a description or without and again that's entirely up to you some people want with a description of how to use it and other people prefer it simple without and you can set the width of the calculator again to match how your site is designed so those are all the customization ### [2:18](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5oGcx3m9bU4&t=138s) Preview settings i'm going to accept the defaults because they work great with my site the one thing i'm going to do here is i'm going to get rid of the description just so i have a nice short calculator it looks good on the page and then you can see here i've got question marks that explain each one of the settings again just trying to help you out and understand your way through this is the attribution link section you pick one of the attribution links i like this one right here so i'm just going to leave that and then we're going to preview the calculator and that looks great just the way it is so we'll accept that close that window if you didn't like it you could go back change the way it's designed and do the preview button again if you don't like it at all you can cancel out and leave or you can go back to step one and choose another calculator using this button so it's really easy to use so once you get the calculator just the way you like it you just press the ### [3:08](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5oGcx3m9bU4&t=188s) Insert insert calculator button you can see it's got a wordpress shortcode right there that's what brings the calculator into your site i'm updating that post right now with the short code and let's go over and see how the post looks so we're gonna refresh the screen loading the page and there it is so that's how easy it is you know it took me a couple minutes to show it to you in a video with all the settings and everything but once you get it down um it should take you about 30 seconds to get a calculator into a post and the nice thing is it makes the post more professional the whole site feel kind of higher in with calculators because not everybody has them and it makes the post interactive and increases reader engagement so i hope you like it hope you get great value from it and let me know your thoughts thanks a lot --- *Источник: https://ekstraktznaniy.ru/video/45882*
