You want to get paid to podcast. How can these two things exist at once? It's like cats and dogs. But I'm going to show you how today where you can create amazing content, have your customers and your audience members pay you money, and get access to this special content via the power of private podcasting and integration with Stripe at Castos. Let's dive into the Castos dashboard to show you exactly how you can tie credit card payment processing platforms like Stripe together with your Castos dashboard to create a seamless private subscriber automation experience to where your audience members can pay you for access to some of your best content. Get that automatically to where you don't have to lift a finger, make money from podcasting, which is the dream for all of us. Let's dive into the Castos dashboard, walk through this, and get it set up in about 5 minutes. Here in our Castos dashboard, you can see we have two podcasts already set up. One is our public podcast we call an audio adventure and the other is private, our super secret cast. This is a model you can use. You can also use our new concept of hybrid podcasting, which we kind of smooshed together these two buckets of content. You just have public and private uh content within that mixed together. But for this purpose, let's just keep it plain and simple. We have a public and we have a private podcast. What we're going to do here is just create a mechanism for people to join your private podcast. And we have a bunch of ways we can do this at Castis. We have an API. We have a integration with Zapier. We have an integration with Kit and Paid Memberships Pro and a bunch of other platforms that you as creators might use. In this case, we're just showing how to do it with Stripe. We have a native integration with Stripe to where when somebody pays you on a subscription, that person could get added to a private podcast in Castus. It's all done automatically. You don't have to lift a finger. You're selling stuff and getting paid to podcast and it's really great. You're adding a lot of value to your audience right along the way. So, in our Castos dashboard, let's set this up. We'll go to the main menu in the top right and select the integration section and then Stripe. And we want to connect with our Stripe account and we'll click connect with Stripe. This will open a new page and just say confirm. Is this the Stripe account that you want to connect with? And I'll say yes. And this will return us back to our Castos dashboard. And we're already set, right? So, we're connected. We see the green button here. We're connected with Stripe. All set. Optionally, you can set up a couple of parameters here, but we don't need to do that for this purpose. That's it. Castos and Stripe are connected. You can accept payments through your Stripe account and special pages and links there. And then you can add folks to your private podcast via this integration. Okay. So, we're going to set up the product or the subscription within our Stripe account. now and get the special link for our podcast website. Okay. So, within our kind of fake account over here, we're going to create a new product. So, product is just a thing that you sell within Stripe. And I'm going to call this Super Secret Cast membership. Okay, great. Uh, so this is an educational service. It is recurring and we're going to charge $10 a month and it will recur monthly and we'll let Stripe handle all of the payments uh of tax. Great. That wasn't too hard, right? So, so that's literally all that we have to do. So, we've created this membership piece here. We can click in to see some of the details. And what we're going to do is grab a link to this later on when we want to go put this on our website so we can check it out. Let's go back to our Castos dashboard and set up the automation to say when somebody pays for this subscription product, add them to my private podcast. And it's going to take about 2 minutes. So back in our Castos dashboard, we'll go to the automation section and just create this automation. So we'll add new automation here. And we want to in this case integrate with Stripe. We have an integration with Kit, which follows a lot of the same logic. when a person fills out a form or has a custom event or a tag or something in Kit, very popular email marketing software, add or remove them as a private subscriber. But in this case, we're sticking with Stripe. And when a subscription is created for our super secret cast membership that we just created, what do I want to do? I want to add them to Castos as a private subscriber to my Super Secret cast podcast. I'll save this rule. And you can see it's pending. And all we have to do is come over here, click the button to activate this, and it's all set. So here, somebody can pay for this membership and join your super secret cast private podcast and get super awesome private kind of premium content that you're not releasing to everybody else. And the way they can do this is Stripe has a really neat little payment link, a hosted website that looks like this. And this is all that you uh this is what you would send folks. So you can say, "Hey, I want to create this link. " And we'll copy this link. And we'll just open this in a new tab. And this is what your audience members would see. Hey, this is a really clean kind of checkout page.

It's 10 bucks a month. Enter your email address here and some payment information. And that's it. This is a kind of optimized checkout experience. You don't have to create, you know, I got to do the coding and I got to integrate with some kind of website product. No, like you could literally drop this link on social media or in an email and folks come here and check out and that's all you need. You could also include this on the podcast website maybe for your public podcast. So if we go back to our Castos dashboard, we have two podcasts, right? You could imagine if we look at the website for this episode, you can imagine like, hey, what if we have a button up here that's like, hey, join the premium experience. Let's just set that up real quick. It'll take about 2 minutes. Uh, so back here in our public podcast website, let's add a new navigation link. Okay, that's it. All we're saying here is join super secretcast and just put in that link to the Skype the Stripe checkout form here and this is what folks will go to and that's it literally. Right. So if we come back and view the podcast website, we can see all the same stuff here, our one regular episode and then hey, I want to join the super secret cast. This opens that checkout page in a new tab. This is how I would do the combination of public and private podcasting to make money to get folks who want to kind of take that next step with me and have premium content uh while at the same time having my public content over here as lead genen awareness brand building. But I also have some extra kind of perks and content for folks who pay me in this case 10 bucks a month. And that's all that it takes to connect Stripe to Castos for you to get paid to podcast.
