Champagne and poker?
Nah. ChatGPT x Gmail x Attio.
How I 1.75x'd revenue in 30 days.

In June, Justin (our CEO) and I had a realization:
Our newsletter sponsorship revenue stream was basically running itself.
→ 100% inbound inquiries.
→ Very little "selling" via email.
→ No sales calls, no outbound.

I decided to run a quick sprint.
Could I 2x our sponsor revenue in 30 days?
...with minimal effort.

Here's what happened:

📊 The starting point:
→ Basic Notion database as our "CRM"
→ No unified inbox
→ Comms scattered across email threads
→ No systematic follow-up process
→ No outbound (as mentioned)

🧭 My 80/20 plan:
Instead of chasing new leads, I decided to focus on closing brands that already know us:

A. Previous sponsors
B. Warm inquiries that never converted

To reach these people, I'd need to do a couple things:
1. Get organized (select a real CRM to track comms)
2. Set up outbound campaigns
3. Personalize at scale
4. Actually follow up (novel concept, lol)

🛠️ Executing the plan

### Segment 1 (00:00 - 01:00) []

Yeah, what did you do last night? — I chat GBT write a scraper that pulls all of my salesreated emails and replies into a sheet. I dropped that data into Clawude 4 Opus and had it create two campaigns. One for previous sponsors and one campaign for people who reached out but never converted. I wanted these campaigns to reflect how I actually talked to prospects, including all of the little details and nuances of our business, which is why I scraped all of my real sales emails first. Before building out the campaigns, I dumped 500 prospect records into Atio. It enriched company description, revenue, and employees automatically. I added two AI research agent fields. One for sponsor fit. AI researches if they're a good fit for our newsletter, one for product value prop. AI pulls the company's main product offerings. We'll use these later in the campaigns I'm building. Then I built my two email sequences in Atio. I added AI content throughout the campaign. I used the AI company value proposition variable to write a personalized PS for every prospect. I also had my colleague Joey build an automation so when a prospect books a call, they move to meeting booked. When it's time for a call, Adio's meeting agent records it, pulls out action items, and stores them on the company's record. Now I can stop paying for those other AI meeting assistants. So the end result, I went from 500 potential prospects to around 82 hot prospects with personalized email campaigns cued in just a couple hours. So, what did you do last
