And the more I think about it, the more it feels like a hook is just that instant moment where someone says, “oh, this is for me.” So maybe relatability isn’t just a tactic… maybe it’s the meta. I'm trying to become a full-time creator and I'm using a meta strategy for that. And the meta strategy is relatability, right? So, I think that relatability is just about connecting with other people. It is the way that people naturally connect with others. It's something that we're doing all the time in real life. And I think it's actually the foundation of social media because it's social media, right? And relatability isn't really just it's not like it's only a creative strategy, right? It's actually the entire point of making videos is relating to other people. And I think that there's different levels to that, right? Like you can be more or less relatable in any given video. So for example, like my algorithm does not show me makeup tutorials, right? Because I don't watch that and I don't have a reason to watch that. But if you were to send me like Skyrim or Elder Ring videos, right, I'm going to take an extra second to pay attention to that to see what that video is about. And that's something that I'm doing automatically because I relate to those topics more.
