This is our first episode!! We are so excited to get this started and take you along for our adventure together. We are a couple that wants to grow even closer together and document our growth and adventures to share with YOU! We hope you enjoy!

all right and welcome to the first episode of the morning brew hi I'm drew and I'm Ali all right we're starting this off it's our very first episode you excited I'm very excited so just to introduce ourselves a little bit I already said I'm Ali and this is drew we are a couple in Indiana where we live together yeah it's just north of Indianapolis area mm-hmm and let's see we're getting married next year which is really exciting so we're in the middle of planning all of that but just with all the craziness between planning our wedding and working and everything we just decided to do this show yeah we just wanted to be creative again and do something together that we don't normally do and just kind of work on something together and this is a nice creative outlet for us mm-hmm so we don't know exactly where it's headed but we're gonna give it a shot yeah we're excited to have you all here and see where this goes yeah all right so I've come up with a little game you wanna play yes let's do it all right so I have a bunch of questions in this hat and so we're gonna take turns asking each other questions and we'll see what we get yeah hopefully there are some decent questions here we'll see I wrote him a while ago so I don't even remember what the questions are anymore yeah I mean um we'll see what comes out all right you ready to answer one let's do it all right here we go first question see and I wasn't thinking when I wrote these because I sealed them with like a post-it notes and so the sticky side is sealing all of them together so you got the real handy all right you ready I am ready okay what hobby would you get into if time and money weren't an issue ooh good question see I'm a person that I enjoy a lot of hobbies I like sports weird working of course I say a lot of hobbies I can only think of two but I would definitely say probably woodworking yeah I think that would be really cool I really like to be creative and make things my own and so if I really don't a woodworking I could create things and you know build things I know I like working with my hands so yeah definitely woodworking yeah and kind of a funny story with that when Drew proposed he actually made the box that the ring came in which was really cool you got a buddy to help you right yeah which really he helped me a lot so it's not like it was just me but uh but you did a lot of it didn't you design you know we did it together yeah but it turned out really cool so I think that's something that you're really good at already I mean it's something that I enjoy and so of course that was a big thing a big moment and something that I knew we were going to hold on to so that's kind of why I wanted to make my own ring box for you mm-hmm something to keep throughout the years and things like that yeah it's something that's still really special to me yeah I actually made it out of purple heart wood so it's purple which is really cool and it's not like diet or anything like it's just purple mm-hmm and then it also has a cherry inlay so it does look nice and it came out well I'm very happy with it but I'll have to show it to you guys in a future video yeah definitely right ask me a question yeah your turn I'm scared all right these are stuck nope all right what is your favorite piece of clothing you own my that I own um I mean I really like okay so you can tell by Drew sweatshirt that he is a Chiefs fan very big cheese and so he when we got together he converted me and so one of the things that I really like is I have this Chiefs hat that I wear that's your favorite I don't know it's one thing that I really like I don't know if it's my favorite but it's something that I really like and I was given to me as a gift and I don't know we represented it when we go to the game and when we went to the NFL Combine this year yeah what do we got on TV yes so we were both wearing our matching hats on TV so that was pretty fun one of us may have been asleep yeah I don't know who that was yeah we won't talk about it yeah it was me it's okay only everybody in the world saw it okay we were there for a long time like we got there really early in the morning and we were there for almost like 10 hours at least yeah and what was later on in the day it wasn't just earlier in the day I was tired okay I mean I don't blame you I

didn't wake you up or anything like that I know no you were very nice about it but yeah I didn't even know we got on TV until afterward when my brother and sister-in-law I'm sorry my brother and my sister-in-law yeah I guess I said it right but it came out as both okay anyway um they pointed out that we got on the TV I was like no way there's no way like we're in the audience watching NFL Combine you can't even cheer you can't do anything like that one yeah you have to be like I want to show us you know but uh sure enough we're on there and it was crazy because they hadn't shown any of the fans throughout the entire thing yeah and then the first time that they show fans there we are yeah but their shows like LeBron James tweeting and about people's 40 times and so there's people watching this mm-hmm but you know for maybe a few seconds there we are yeah you and your binoculars looking at everything oh yeah see I've gotten a little warm see we have the matching hats um so I got a little warm so I kind of pulled mine up a little bit on my head so I look so stupid I had it like here and it kind of came up and yeah back out on TV mm-hmm they probably thought I looked ridiculous and so that's why they did well you were looking like that I was asleep we were just killing it oh you're killing it at the combine all right you ready for another one yeah hey all right when people come to you for help what do they usually want help with hmm that's a tough question mm-hmm for me it's easy because like I'm a teacher so kids are always asking me for help with something mmm like all day long it's hey hey can you help me I don't know how to do this yeah see for me I work in retail so I get a lot of questions on hey where's this what does this do what's the best product for me you know things like that um I asked you for help a lot but personally I would probably say relationship advice yeah you're actually really good at giving out relationship mailings Thanks but as odd as it is but I think people come to me because I mean obviously I don't want to toot my own horn here or our own horn here but I think we have a great relationship and I think that shows so people ask questions on you know how things should go in their lives and things like that but yeah I'm not trying to be Tooting my own horn here really obviously there's questions and not everybody has everything figured out but it's honest and people do ask you for help with that kind of stuff yeah and I mean I'm very honest with my opinions and you know I'm very respectful for their opinions as well so yeah but yeah I would say that's probably the number one thing mm-hmm yeah it's a good thing to be helpful are you ready yeah let's do another one all right by the way if you can see this hat yes you can we got this hat in Mexico when we went for my grandparents 60th anniversary yeah two years ago now yeah we went to Cancun like Riviera Maya and we stayed at an all-inclusive resort but there was a day that we went out into the city and so there was a guy just riding a bike throughout the little shopping area just selling these hats so we decided to buy one and then I think your brother bought one and so we gave him some good business that day yeah fun fact it says Made in China on the Hat but we got him in Mexico I feel like I got gypped it's okay we still know where we got it yeah it's still cool yeah are you ready for your question yeah give it to me all right what songs have you he's doing like announcer voice completely memorized songs that I've completely memorized well okay so when I was in high school I was that kind of like a theater nerd and so I am I'm still I am a theater nerd I just did more theater when I was in high school and so I am still really into musicals and things like that so I know a lot of songs from musicals that is very true yeah so actually when I was in junior high my grandparents took me to see Wicked for the very first time but in my choir in like seventh grade or something we sang defying gravity just as a choir and so I already knew all the words and so when I went to go see it I thought I was really cool because I could sing along while they were performing it and I'm sure everyone around me hated me and I'm pretty sure I remember like a man glaring at me because of course he's trying to watch the professional actress do the song and there I am my little like six or seventh

grade self just singing along but in my mind he was thinking oh wow she knows all the words he's so good yeah I was really good and I thought everyone else thought that I was really good too but I was so good laughter isn't way no I wasn't loud but it was loud enough that everyone around I could probably hear it oh yeah I guarantee it not my finest moment that's not a rocket concert where you sing along you know mm-hmm no people pay a lot of money to see professionals not oh well live and learn I would also say you know a lot of Taylor Swift songs I do yeah I was really into Taylor Swift's like earlier on in her career Megan I still really like Taylor Swift but lately I don't like her music as much as her original stuff yeah I would agree obviously a artist can do whatever they want it's their art and their music mm-hmm but personally I prefer old Taylor Swift songs yeah well I did go to a Taylor Swift concert when I was in college and I brought my friend Courtney shoutout Courtney mm-hmm I just remember that you know she's just standing there like just enjoying the concert in her own way but just kind of standing whatever and there I am and I'm like the entire time yeah you were a bit of a fangirl growing up a little bit going to youtube things and yeah I was like girl went to like YouTube conventions and oh yeah sure we won't dive too in too far into that right now but maybe later mm-hmm tell you all about my fangirl Lena's okay ready for your question yes I am okay if you didn't have to sleep what would you do with the extra time woodworking no I'm just hmm that's a tough question probably work more yes yeah you can always use more money yeah but I feel like you want to do like if you didn't have to work you could do something fun I mean then work on this I'm really excited about to put this out there not only see like who watches but it like just to be creative again we're not necessarily going for views and subscriptions and all that kind of stuff I mean feel free I mean we won't say no okay but it's just something fun for us to do together yeah definitely it's not like we're trying to just make it big mm-hmm yeah but I feel like I could see you getting into like more photography too and yeah no I definitely like creative things so yeah and you'd have a lot more time to do that I mean think like so it's your turn style yeah okay but like you know that's like eight hours of your life more that you'd have you could do whatever you wanted yeah I'd like that mmm I probably read more books okay watch more movies maybe learn how to like I like baking but like learn how to bake really well like bake fancy things all right you ready yeah what's something you like to do the old-fashioned way something I okay so I guess um I have this app on my phone that's like for like the grocery store where you make your shopping list and everything and it's really it's a good app because we can both add things to the list together and there was even a mode at one point I think it was in beta and I think they took it away but where you would put what you wanted on your shopping list and then it would tell you aware in the store it was like it would say oh this is an aisle 10 that's really cool yeah so there's a really cool app and I have no reason not to enjoy it and not to use it but lately I've just liked writing my own paper and pen like shopping list look I got my own special notebook and I'm writing down playlists and all of the meals that we can have for the week I don't know that's just more satisfying more tactile you know mm-hmm physical to have that in your hands yeah use that yeah and even like when I'm lesson planning there are so many apps where you can you know write your lesson plans online but I still have like a paper planner that I still write everything down in yeah I mean for me I would probably say I mean calendar but I kind of disagree with that as long as I or as I just say it as well yeah because I mean it's nice to be able to look up a certain event and not necessarily know exactly when it is or have to flip through the pages or anything like that I can just be like when is someone so his birthday and then it just tells me rather than having to flip through a calendar yeah but at the same time when I am like putting things on a calendar or like it's important physically writing it down is much better for me yeah there are pros and cons to both yeah no I definitely agree yeah I don't

know sometimes I like to do things the old-fashioned way but then I also I like technology is great um I'm a bit of a techie we're sitting in our projector room slash now studio mm-hmm yes oh I do like our tech we have a drone that we like to fly around which we'll show on this channel later on so stay tuned for that yeah no we're excited we're going to Chicago this weekend so we'll try to film a little bit and show you a little bit what's going on but yeah it should be fun yeah very fun all right we're wrapping it up yeah let's wrap it up all right well thank you so much for joining us on SO done of morning brew Marone oh yeah we're really excited to share this with you guys for the few of you that are gonna watch to them right now we're strangers on the internet but you're strangers except for those of you that are probably watching and probably knows yeah but who knows maybe we'll get to reach a wider audience you never know where this that's gonna go but yeah it's fun and we'll just see what happens yeah if you have any questions comments anything you want us to talk about let us know and we'll put it in there yeah all right we'll see you guys see ya
