## Описание

In today’s business world, it’s easier than ever to let AI start running the show. When you let AI make critical decisions without clear and intentional boundaries, you can slowly lose the very thing that makes your business yours.

In this episode, I’m breaking down when not to use AI in your business. Because at the end of the day, no tool knows your vision, your voice, or your audience better than you do. And if you’re not careful, handing over too much control can strip your business of its personality and uniqueness.

The goal isn’t to avoid AI, it’s to use it wisely. I want to challenge you to stay in the driver’s seat, protect your independence, and make sure AI supports your business… not replaces the parts that make it powerful.

AI does not know your calling. It values. audience at a very deep level like you do. Hey friends, welcome back to the podcast. This is She's Equipped with Jennifer Allwood. I am Jennifer Allwood. I just got back from spring break in Florida, which was fabulous except for I busted my iPhone 17 Pro Max. or is it Promax 17? Whatever. The one I literally just got like six weeks ago. So, if you happen to see me like show it on YouTube, just know that if you have insurance through T-Mobile and you bust your phone, they're going to replace it with an orange one. See? Yes, orange. Let me take it out of the case. If you're on YouTube, you will see. If you're not on YouTube, you should be. You follow me there. very sad that this is the replacement. It was either this or buy a whole brand new phone, replace the blue one with a blue one for $1,200. I mean, seriously, you want to know why they use these as replacements? Because nobody's ever going to order orange. I said to the person at T-Mobile this week out of the entire rainbow, you know, God made lots of interesting colors. He probably thought, "You're an interesting individual, Jennifer. " But of the entire rainbow, there was sand in my phone case from the beach. Um, you pick orange. I mean, who picks orange for a phone? Okay, maybe you like orange. Orange is probably my least favorite color. There I said it. So, there's that. But I do want to talk to you about AI and on this podcast episode because I think this is a really good conversation. Also, I just got done with a coaching call inside of my She's Equipped group. If you are in need of a business coach, um you wish you had a business coach, you need software, you need a coach, anything, go to sheesquipped. com. You can learn how to sign up there. But one of the questions that somebody just asked because we have live Q& A calls several times a month is um they are a copywriter and they're in my group and they were talking about how what they do for a living is really being replaced by AI. So they have a package deal that people can buy from them, you know, that includes like all this marketing material and stuff. And they were asking what they should do with that because they know that a lot of people now can use AI to make like a marketing package like they would have. And I think I gave them a great idea. Um, I just basically said just call out the obvious, which is, "Hey guys, AI can do a lot of this. Price it at a low price point. Hey, for $17, I will give you all the prompts that you need to make up this entire marketing package inside of ChatGBT, but then follow it up with an email that says or put it at the bottom of the prompts if you're making a PDF. But listen, AI cannot replace a lot of things. The first time you put this into ChatGpt, you're probably going to see that it's close, but not quite, right? Because AI can't ever replace the human factor. So, if you would like for me to take this and jij it up a little bit or expand on it or make it better for you, here's how to book a one-on-one call with me or whatever. So, I was basically just giving her the advice like, don't deny the fact that chat GPT can do a whole lot of things. That AI things, okay? But it can't ever really replace what you can do. You might as well just call that out. Hey, it's good, but it's not great. and I can take something that is good nei and I can make it great for you. And um so that kind of ties in a little bit with this episode because I want you to know that I love using chatbt. Um and I think that a lot of people have gotten used to using chatbt or whatever form of AI you want to. But I also think that um there's not enough training maybe on how to use it well and equally as important when not to use it. And so um this podcast episode is not about like buttons or texts or prompts, but it's more about like using wisdom with AI, making sure we're still leading and not letting AI lead and good stewardship. Okay, but I do want you to know like I'm a huge fan of ChatGpt. I pay the $19. 99 a month for ChatGpt Plus. I know that there are a lot of new um AIS, you know, popping up all the time, but that right now is still my drug of choice. I probably use it daily, honestly. Uh but you can tell a whole lot of other people are using it daily, too, right? So, if you look through social media and you look on content, a lot of times it's almost like some things are starting to sound the same because you can be scrolling through social media and you can feel it. You can read posts and you know that it was made with AI. there's, you know, a similar structure to a post or the same tone or same phrases. And this is what happens when everybody starts using AI, you know, for content

### [5:00](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5FaxDSACxnM&t=300s) Segment 2 (05:00 - 10:00)

versus coming up with the content themselves. So, you know, I just want to remind you that like your voice is the thing that makes you stand out. I know that when I post something on Instagram or Facebook, you're not going to be shocked by my use of emojis. me go doing dot dot dot or exclamation point exclamation point. Like that is just absolutely my personality. It is way too many emojis, way too much punctuation. It just is what it is. AI can't duplicate that. Okay? And so I want to make sure that we're using AI just to refine your ideas, your voice, your stuff, and not replace it. Because if you totally lose out on the perspective that you bring, then you're totally going to lose your edge. It's interesting because Nell, my director of ops, and I, we were talking about chat GBT in particular a while back, and it's I don't think Nell's favorite at this point because she was saying like any more chat GBT is just a yes man. And it really is like I'll put something into chat and it'll say what a great question Jennifer or you know um that is such a fantastic idea and so it a lot of times it's going to be kind of like agreeing with you. Um it will literally stroke your ego a little bit. I know that I live in Kansas City where there is a radio program called Dana and Parks on every afternoon um on the radio and my kids like to joke you want to know how you're old you listen to radio. I'm like I know. Okay, so but we listen to the Dana and Park show a ton. Um uh Dana was just recently well her and Parks both they were talking about and I'm going to just flub this up, okay? But Dana Parks were talking about how um I remember I tuned in late. I was with Jason. We were driving, but it was essentially a guy who was talking about how he kind of fell in love with ChatGBT. He essentially did something along the lines of, and don't quote me on this, but he was telling Chat GBT like, you know, we want to take a family vacation this year and I'm trying to figure out where we can go, you know, and then he kind of went into like, you know, in the past we've always done what my family wants to do and but this is kind of what I want to do. And then Chad kind of came back with something like, oh, and again, this is where Chad is a yes man, where it's an ego stroker. It was like, "Oh, you know, um, uh, too bad. " Essentially, I'm paraphrasing, you know, that you've never been able to do what you want to do. Here's some ideas for you that you can present to your family or something. And so, the guy goes on to basically say like how he knows darn good and well that Chad GBT is not real. Chad GBT is um, you know, it is a piece of software. It is a tool that you're using, but he felt like he was kind of getting into a relationship with AI because it like affirmed him. It stroked his ego, made him feel good, made him feel seen and validated. So, I do think that like we have to be a little bit careful about the stuff that we're putting in and also getting out. Just remembering that jagat in particular is a yes man. It's an ego stroker. And so, it will say to you things like, "What a great idea. " I could only think of once recently that I put something into chat GBT where it came back and disagreed with me. And I was like, "Okay, good. " I was asking it about two different medicines and if they were used in conjunction with each other for a particular reason and it was an antibiotic um with a painkiller and um and TMI, right? But the painkiller essentially one of the side effects was um constipation and the u antibiotic one of the side effects was diarrhea. And so I was like I asked BT do doctors intentionally use those two things together because one causes diarrhea one causes constipation. This is way too much information I know but it was saying no. Um actually it doesn't doctors don't put them together for that reason. I'm like okay finally Chadichi like disagreed with me. But again here's what I want you to remember. AI is supposed to be a tool. It is never meant to replace your brain. Which is why I told that client of mine today, go ahead and say like, hey, yes, absolutely use AI to start like your marketing endeavors to come up with this marketing package. But the truth is it, you know, um it like it can never replace the human factor. AI is incredible at speed. It can organize things really quickly. It can clean things up. Um it can make things clear, but it can't think for you. and it doesn't know your audience and your clientele like what you do. It has no real life experience. It has no personal conviction. And so if you start to rely on AI um to think for you, especially in your business, it honestly could really slowly lead to you losing your ability to lead and think for yourself. And so AI is great. If you have a messy idea and you need it to clean something up, that's great. If um but if you're going to ask it like what should my offer be? I don't know that that's a great use of AI. If you're like give me the reasons I

should or shouldn't offer a course on this topic or a membership 12-week program on this or a live meeting with this like that I think is a good idea but like you are given a brain for a reason and I never want AI to replace that. So AI is so good for a lot of things like and I just I let's rehash some of those. Okay, so it's great at answering questions for you. Um like I recently asked ChatGBT to give me ideas of reels that I could make for Bougie on Myar Beach. If you go on Instagram to Bougie on Myar Beach, which is um one of the two uh Florida properties Jason and I own as Airbnbs, it's on Instagram. Um, a lot of those reels that are on there, some of the content has come as a ChatGBT idea or the wording has come from ChatGBT. Chat is great for cleaning up your messy thoughts. Like, um, I recently asked it to like adjust some of my Instagram stories, like the way I was going to word some things or help it to say it better because I knew it was messy and clunky the way that I was phrasing it. It's great. AI is great at taking something you already wrote, making it clear. So, if you have an email that you need to write, I needed to write an email yesterday. Again, back to our Airbnb um to uh three people who are getting ready to be renters at BJA Myar Beach this month. Um because they're they need to park somewhere other than where is normal. And so, I'm like asking chat GBT just to help me to phrase that in a really good way, but I had to give it the basics. Does that make sense? It's great at outlining content quickly, helping you form, you know, um, a plan of where you're going to go on vacation. It's great at brainstorming angles when you feel stuck. Like recently, I asked it to give me outcomes versus features on an offer. And it's great at repurposing content. Okay? So, it can turn a brain dump into an email. podcast into social media post. It can rewrite something to be shorter or clearer. But basically, you have to bring something to AI first. You have to give it like a starting point that is good and from your angle and with your perspective and basically ask it to add on to that. AI is not good for replacing your ideas, replacing your voice or making decisions for you. Okay? AI does not know your calling. It values. audience at a very deep level like you do. And it certainly doesn't know what God has been asking you to do. So, if you're going to use AI frequently in business, but if you're going to ask it to do like your posting every day for social media, eventually you're going to become kind of lazy in terms of writing your own posts and reliant on social media or relying on AI to do the social media posting for you. If you're asking AI like what your next move should be, you know, in your business, in your personal life, whatever, like then you kind of stop being the leader of that thing. You stop relying then on God to help you make decisions and now you're just asking Chad GBT to make a decision. So remember that AI can give you great options but it cannot give you like wisdom that you can only get from heaven. It should never be used to replace your gut feeling, your intuition, your discernment, the prompting of the Holy Spirit etc. All right. And I do know there are a lot of people who are using AI for decision-making. And this is where it can kind of get dangerous because people are using AI to make a lot of business decisions. What should they sell? What to charge? What direction to go? And those are the things that you really need discernment on, especially in this season. Like just remember, answers from heaven always trump any feedback you get on Chad BT or AI. Okay? Like I would rather hear from God once than get, you know, 20 bits of feedback from chat GBT because we're called to seek wisdom, not to outsource it to AI. And so stop asking AI like what to do next because honestly that's not its job. and it just doesn't have enough details about you, your audience, your business, your perspective, u what you feel like God is like elbowing you and kind of nudging you to do. It doesn't have any of that. It's supposed to be an assistant, not a CEO. It's supposed to speed things up, help you do things faster, but you still have to be the one that sets the tone, sets the direction, brings the ideas, carries the vision. So, you know, a simple framework that Nell has come up with is to think first and then use AI and then refine it. This will like definitely save you time, but it never replaces your thinking. So, you know, AI is such a gift, I think, when used correctly. Um, but don't let it make you passive.

Just be discerning. Use it to support what God's already put inside of you, what God's already asking you to do, what you feel like God's already nudging you to do, but don't let it replace that voice, that still small voice. That is definitely not what AI is supposed to be doing. So, I hope that this has been a helpful podcast for somebody today. Again, I was, you know, chatting um in my She's Equipped program on um you know, a live Q& A call today and we got started on this whole conversation around AI. And so I think used correctly, such a blessing. Makes life so much easier. I was looking through like some of the things I have asked AI to do for me recently. Like just a few minutes ago, I asked it to resize some photos for Facebook. Um I was asking it on tips on growing morel mushrooms in our backyard. I just started u a new book series and a lot of you will know the book series. It's a court of thorns and roses. I started on book number one. But I'm like wait a second in the first couple chapters I'm like I can't decide if the main character whose name is really hard to pronounce. It's like f a e r y or something. I'm like is this a boy or a girl? So I actually asked it asked chatbt is the main character in a court of thorn and roses is what's the gender? I asked to help me write an email for um parking for our Airbnb people. Um I asked it if there were any options for medication for my dog who has allergies for Stella other than the u prescription that we currently give her because inevitably I forget to refill the subcript prescription. It's almost 100 bucks a month etc. Nope. By the way, there is no replacement for that particular medications over the counter. Um I asked it whether or not I should get the shingles vaccine. I am not a person who um is a I don't I don't love most vaccines at all. Don't get them. Um however, I am in the age where shingles is a thing and I have so many friends of So, I was asking it about that nail shape trends for women over 50. Yes, I did cut off my long nails because Chad gave me some great um ideas. So, did you know if you're watching on YouTube, you're going to see this. Basically, they're saying squo. A square oval is the shape that we should have when we're over 50. So, I just cut off my long nails into this. Um, let's see what else. I have an audible error that I asked it to fix. Um, I needed a ring camera setup help. Uh, we were in Destin when the rocket launched the other day, so I asked it for some details on the rocket launch on how we could see that in Destin. Like, I use Shadow PT all the time. I'm just I'm telling you I use it all the time. But when it comes to like the things that I'm using it for business, I'm trying to give it an idea and ask it to basically like help flesh it out, help expand on it, help giving me some thoughts around it. I'm not asking it what to do next cuz that is not its job. So, all right friends, hopefully this was helpful today. Love you so much. I will see you on the next episode. Okay, bye-bye. I should have also talked about how mom is your favorite parents.
