## Описание

A legend returns. Peri Fractic and Dark Coast Pictures traveled in 2024 to the iconic El Mirage dry lake - the original filming location of the Knight Rider opening titles - to film a *shot-for-shot remake of the classic intro* for a major upcoming documentary. And Peri decided to keep going...

Subscribe for the documentary launch trailer coming soon! The intro wasn't done with AI or 80s stock footage. Every shot (even the helicopter pursuit) was filmed in-camera with Peri at the yoke, to capture the soul of the original series.

It's followed by a new fan episode co-starring Sam Witwer (Darth Maul) https://SamWitwer.com, Directed by Josh Turchetta, created out of love for Universal’s masterpiece.

🎁 WIN A TALKING KITT REPLICA AT https://raffall.com/retrorecipes
At the end of this episode, something life-changing. Peri's raffling off his personal, KITT replica car (or is it KARR). 100% of the proceeds go to Commodore Cares, dedicated to making life brighter for underprivileged kids.

## Транскрипт

### Segment 1 (00:00 - 05:00) []

— Hurry, there's a message for you. Hello Devon. Hello Perry. I see everything went well investigating the old Slammin' Sammy's Stunt Show racetrack, but I must remind you KITT is overdue for his next service and Bonnie still needs to apply the final layers of KITT's molecular bonded shell. He's quite vulnerable until it has had a chance to regenerate to its full power. You got it, Devon. Ah, all right, KITT. You ready for your next bit of restoration? I think it's time to finally get you into tip-top shape, yeah? I don't want to spend another day getting my tanks purged. It's a very distasteful procedure. Don't worry, KITT. This one is purely cosmetic. But you haven't forgotten, have you? A little second finish goes a long way. — After all that, I expect a full Simonize when we're done. You got it, KITT. You got it. Perry, you won't believe what my scanner just picked up. What is it, KITT? I'm picking up someone broadcasting on the private flag frequency. Someone? Or something? No, it can't be. There's only one way to find out, KITT. Pilot us close to the signal. Right away, Perry. Receive mode. — The signal's coming from inside this warehouse. Micro jam that door locally, buddy. Sensing anything? I'm picking up some strange atmospheric anomalies in here. Keep your scanners peeled, all right, mate? I see something. Stay here. I'll check it out. —

### Segment 2 (05:00 - 10:00) [5:00]

— I don't believe it. — We trust that you will take care of KITT and help to continue his legacy. Remember, one man can make a difference. The Knight Rider Historians. After all these years. Welcome home, KITT. Why, thank you, Perry. It's nice to be here. But who, may I ask, is that? That's my other KITT replica. I actually based him on you. So, um, I guess you're going to have a friend in the garage. — I don't think I'm going to like this. Why not? — I don't know how to tell you this, but that version of me — isn't me. isn't me. How correct you are, KITT. Wait a minute. Are you telling me I've been driving car this whole time? Affirmative, Perry Fractic. I am the Knight Automated Roving Robot, and your restoration has almost brought me back to full power. As soon as my molecular bonded shell completes its regeneration, nothing will stop me. Oh, please. You've been nothing but trouble from the start. I am the superior creation. The vehicle beside you was an inferior production model. Has your front nose touched David Hasselhoff's nose like mine? Well, no. Talk about inferior. The only other car with this exact nose, molded from the one given to him as a gift, is the screen used KITT in the Peterson Museum. — You pansy Hollywood starlet. I have real T-tops. Yours are basically painted on. — Okay, pretty boy. — Perry can actually fit inside me. — You're still wrecked. — Your wheel fell off the first time Perry drove you. — My fog lights are really nice. — You're a 1992 Firebird. I'm not useless as you are. You are ugly. Look, look. Cool your PCBs, okay? You are both worthy in your own ways. As the prototype, I was designed with fewer limitations, which gives me untapped potential that he will never have. I prioritize self-preservation, unlike KITT, who constantly throws himself into danger for humans. — Oh, be quiet, you impostor. — Frankly, it's inefficient. I operate on pure logic, no sentimental distractions. Simply, I am the superior machine. Oh, interesting. Were you built by the Knight Rider Historians? I'm arguably the most screen accurate KITT in existence. The attention to detail when making me would have made Bonnie proud. You see this trunk release handle? It's the exact same part that Universal Studios fitted to all their Trans Ams. It's not even seen on screen and I still have it. You would do well to watch your trunk, Knight Industries 2000. Trunk? Oh, you meant to say boot just now, didn't you, when you said trunk? He's really changed. All right, KITT, the real KITT. Let's take a look at you. — Some Perry. Where is our next mission?

### Segment 3 (10:00 - 13:00) [10:00]

We're going home, Kit. To the foundation? No, Kit. To our home. — Very well, Perry Fractic. I will bide my time, but you haven't seen the last of me. — And we are so excited to welcome this Kit to the Retro Recipes family. Yes, it was built by the Knight Rider historians themselves and is without doubt one of the most screen accurate Kit replicas in the world. And we don't really want KARR to feel left out, do we? So, that's why we decided, don't tell anyone, to raffle off that other Kit or KARR to one of you lucky viewers. Yeah, you actually you, watching at home, could win a full-size Kit replica with all the bells and whistles. Yes, of course, it even talks. — Retro So, enter the raffle below. Retro Recipes is allocating 100% of the proceeds to support Commodore Cares initiatives. Since its reboot last year, releasing the critically acclaimed Commodore 64 Ultimate, the company was set up as a public benefit corporation. It's already proudly partnering with third-party charities like Teen Reach Adventure Camp in the USA and Simply Great Education in the UK.
