foreign Fisher I'm the president of the groupie company headquartered in Stockton California Rick's 325 is a 248 unit three-story walk-up apartment complex located in Santa Rosa California it's a deal that we put together in 2019 and it was built under the 2017 building code and I bring that up because in the 2017 building code we were not required to put solar onto the project the goofy company likes to incorporate solar into the apartment projects for two reasons one in this stage of global warming we all need to be good custodians of the planet and there's no question that solar helps us do that and then secondly we can produce solar energy now cheaper than the grid and so our tenants actually can pay less now for electricity when we do solar than they can buying it from utility so we chose sun power because we've had a long history with sun power we built the first Zero Energy community in Northern California in 2006. when we put that project together sunpowers not only do they provide the solar and install the solar but they really did a phenomenal job helping us put a whole package together the project was very successful although it was built during the GSC or the global financial crisis in the mid 2000s our project sold three times faster and all the other projects in the area and we attribute that mostly because we was in our energy into the solar some power helped to add value to our project like 325 here in Santa Rosa in two ways uh one they did a great job in terms of locating and sizing the solar system secondly that system because it was sized and built properly is actually accretive to our investors so we're actually making money on the solar system we're seeing it being an added cost to the project I'd refer others to SunPower primarily because you can count on them they're very Innovative they're well capitalized a lot of these solar companies you know I talked to other builders and the guy that went out put solar on their house is no longer there some power I've been working with SunPower since 2006. it's now 2023 and they're bigger and stronger now than they ever were
