This is Advantame, which is an artificial sweetener that's supposed to be 20,000 times sweeter than regular sugar. What I also really like is that it's just labeled as a nitrogen-containing nutrient. That's interesting. What's also interesting and what lends to the potency of this is that I found that when you do this and lick your fingers... It tastes really sweet. - Just off the bag? - Yeah. Well, you gotta try it pure now. Oh God... Okay, what I want to do first is just get some water and we'll scoop a small amount. Okay... Well, it definitely doesn't dissolve properly. Let's see. Okay, that's really sweet. But it's not world-altering sweet. It's just crazy sweet. I think the fact that it doesn't dissolve super well is doing something weird. And also, I feel like normal sugary things, the sweetness dies down. I feel like this is just staying in my mouth and constantly releasing sweetness. Okay well, I think I've done enough testing to move up to the pure stuff. What does pure Advantame taste like? Let's see... I don't know, man. It's not as overwhelming as I thought. I thought, I thought it was going to be so sweet that it unlocked It like, it somehow triggered pain receptors in my brain. You know what I mean? I mean by comparison, sugar probably tastes like nothing right now. But, no it's just really sweet and honestly not unpleasant at all. In terms of flavor, this is way better than any other artificial sweetener I've ever had. This changes everything.
