Bless yourself. — Beautiful people. What's up? Welcome back to another day in the life. Well, this is more like an afternoon in the life because the day is we're well into the day. Okay, it is like 2:00 and I only have a few hours that I need to get a lot of stuff done. I did a little bit of work this morning, but this afternoon is going to be when I get a bulk of things done. I have this long running to-do list that I need to tick some things off of. I really need to plan my entire week. It's Monday, so on Mondays they're either very productive with like work and getting the week started right or they're like admin kind of home tidying like you know just kind of getting our lives in order type days and that's kind of what today is. The notebooks came in actually they came in a couple weeks ago and then the last of the notebooks came in today. So they've been coming in waves and we are so excited. We've been getting so many DMs like, "Oh my gosh, are you bringing them back? What happened to them? They are back. " Um, we just kind of did a slow roll because we had a lot going on. I will explain. I think I have a whole another clip from the day that they came in. So, I'll put some of that footage in here so you guys can see us getting the freight truck in. You know, we got had this big freight truck come and deliver the pallets and they're in our house. So if you order one, just know that we are like packaging them ourselves. We don't have a, you know, fulfillment company. We are doing everything in house, which is so much fun. And we really get to like make it special and like package each one with love. So, okay, we're going to figure out what we're going to eat for the week. Cameron wants the ground beef salsa. — Salsa for the bowls. — I said you can get the salsas like the — like taco bowls, — the pico, the guac and stuff like that. — Pico guac. — Or you can get that mango salsa too. Pico, — you know them sauces be $8 each. — The pico and guac is fine. — Okay. Eggs. — Costco. I can go to Costco, but I trust dad that has lasted us two weeks going to Costco and I just got them. That was last Tuesday when I went grocery. — I know. We also haven't been eating that. — I know, but I'm just saying it still. — No, I know. I like the Costco eggs better. — Um — I mean, I can go You don't have to go there. I'll go there. — Do we want salmon or some type of fish? I need to eat four times a day. — Okay, get salmon then. What other fish would we be getting? — I don't know. Like some type of white fish. None of them are ever good by themselves. So — we could put them in like a bowl. Like I could maybe marinate it. — If that's what you want to do then. Last time you did that the whole house was funky. — Cameron. — Yes. Remember you was like I'm never doing this again. Now you want to do it again. — No. That was I baked it. — Yeah. I don't care how you do it. That had the house tripping. — My god of people thinking I can't cook. — No, you can cook. This fish just stink. Okay, I'm heading to the grocery store. My least favorite chore, but somebody's got to do it. — Just got to the grocery store and I'm hoping that I can do this in It's 2:51 right now. I'm hoping I can be out of here by 3:15. Feel like it takes grocery shopping from a two to like a six when I'm listening to a good podcast. Right now I'm listening to Emma Greed's episode on her podcast with Kelly Worler and I started it while I was on my way. So I'm going to try to get through a little more while I'm shopping. Let's go. I'm feeling like a big boss. I'm feeling like the cheap baby looking good. — I don't know who I thought I was thinking I was going to get out by 3:15. It is 333 and I'm about to head home. I don't understand how every time I go to the grocery store, it's almost like $200 at least. Like, it's just insane how much groceries have gone up. Like I'm grateful that we can afford to buy good nutritious food, but I'm just like, geez, it should not be this expensive to just eat healthy. Anyway, I'm going to go home, meal prep, and then I'll probably not really do any work until this evening because not too long from now, River will be getting picked up. And yeah, that's just how the day just flies by. When you have kids, I feel like the day just goes so fast. One second. It's

the morning and you're getting them off. And then dare you not take one second for yourself after they've gone off to school. It's already noon and then you get dressed and you get ready and then it's 2 hours and you have to pick them up. So I'm just like, "Oh my gosh, where's the time going? " That's why I definitely need to like plan my week every single week. We have a weekly spread in the top three notebook and I'm like I need to be using that every single week. Not most weeks, like every single week. Anyway, we're going to go home. We're going to prep. We're going to plan the week. We're going to get a little bit of work done. So, let's go. got some regular taco sh — I did get some. They didn't have the PS. Um, they had chickpea ones and I didn't want chickpeas. — Chickpea shells. — Yeah. So, I got some almond flour. They're a Whole Foods brand, but — did you look on the end cap? Cuz that's where I got those ci giving her Cheerio snacks. Definitely not as sweet, but they're not bad. I feel like she would like them. — She might think they're Cheerios. — It's not that many ingredients. Way better for you than Cheerios. Oat protein, nonGMO corn, cassava starch, maple syrup, coconut oil, cinnamon, and vanilla extract. — Oh yeah, I've been meaning to bring another one down. Thank you so much. Anyway, not bad. kind of addicting. Like you eat one and then you just want to keep eating them. Can you bring a um charger down? I mean a battery. More items that we get all the time. This bone broth. I've been drinking it. Actually, we've both been drinking it every morning. And love this brand because it's called um Butcher's Bone Broth. I really like this brand because the bone broth is very jelly. I get kettle and fire to cook with. So, I've started swapping chicken broth out for bone broth. I don't mind the flavor of bone broth. It's slightly different, but it's not bad. And if you're making a soup, which I'm going to make today, this is great and it's more protein, but it because it's not refrigerated, it doesn't have this like solid jellyiness to it like this kind of does. This just seems like it has more nutrition nutritional value. But this is also still um what else do I be getting? Oh, for our tuna. For our tuna, we've been liking these Milton's glutenfree crispy sea salt crackers. They're good. I wouldn't just be eating these, but with the tuna, yeah, this coconut yogurt is ridiculously expensive, but River really likes it. And because I'm trying not to eat dairy more than like once a week, like very occasionally, I have been liking to add this into soup, this chicken and wild rice soup that I've been making, and it's by the brand Culina. So, I don't know. It's good enough. Um, what else? Got some vegetable fried rice. I think this will make a very easy weekn night meal. Also got us some little mocha almond fudge bars. These are mostly for me. I like this brand and it's dairyf free. And then I got camera bars which also love, but these are Greek yogurt and I'm trying to cut down my dairy intake. So you can have those. You can be a dairy king. — That sounds kind of crazy. — I'm not a dairy queen, but you know, here we are. — Yeah, my dad doesn't eat here. — Baby, looking for a good time. Trying to go deep, deep, baby. Blame it on the sunshine. heat, heat, baby. Soaking up some good

wine. Stop and feel the be cuz this is our time to cate the great and we will always make life along the way. I just started dinner. I'm making a chicken and wild rice soup. Kind of creamy but dairyfree cuz I'm going to use some coconut um yogurt in it to just kind of make it creamier. But I love this soup. This is my third time making it. So, usually the way I do it is I cook the rice like halfway so that it's not fully cooking in the soup. And then I'm cooking down the vegetables. I cook the chicken first about halfway. That also doesn't need to be cooked all the way through. I just browned it. And then in the same pot, I didn't wash it out or anything. I just dumped the vegetables, carrots, bell pepper, celery, and onion. And I forgot to grab some garlic, but I use garlic powder. I like to use fresh garlic, but I don't have any. And then I'm going to use this bone broth as the like, you know, the base or this the broth. And then um I'm just going to throw everything together. It's super easy. And I'm going to put some kale in at the last minute. Look who's here. Mommy girlie. Hi, sweet baby. Come here. Hi, sweet baby. Let me see. Yeah, you got a special on your nose. Did you have a good day? — That's not dead ass. I think I need to do another Hey, mommy. So funny. Mommy. Come on. Let's go. — Let's go. — Let's go, mama. Say, "Let's go, mommy. Let's go. " H I J — W X Y and Z. Now we know ABC's. Next time won't you sing with me? — Yay. Yay! — Say bye-bye. — Just wrapped up bath time with my girl. Time to get some work done because I really feel like I haven't worked that much today. I mean, I got some stuff done this morning, but not enough. So, actually, this is funny. I went to Austin last weekend for a South by Southwest YouTube event and it was so much fun. There were a bunch of brands there and then creators there and it was an invite only event but it was very cool because I got to connect with some brands that I probably would have never connected with and I also got to connect with a lot of agencies that we work with for a lot of my brand campaigns. So, I'm going to send some follow-up emails. That's been on my to-do list for like a week, and I don't want to let too much time slip by. So, I'm going to send out some follow-up emails, just like a let's chat, like let's schedule like a 15 to 30 minute call type email just to keep those relationships going. I am learning, especially right now while I'm on this millionaire year, that it is so much about your network. And even being in spaces like that creator event, I'll pop some clips here in, but um even being in spaces like that are heavily dependent on who you know and just constantly nurturing those relationships. That is something that can be kind of difficult when you're a

content creator just because so much of what you do is by yourself. So, like for me, I work at home with my husband and we kind of just do everything together. And even though there is a budding creator scene in Detroit, a lot of people don't know I live here. So, people whenever even when I have one-on- ones, people are like, "So, you're in Texas, right? " Or, "So, you're in LA? " New York or Atlanta or North Carolina. " Like, some people think I live in Charlotte. I'm like, "I never even been to Charlotte. like I haven't been to Houston in about 15 years. Um so I don't know. It's just so funny. But um so I'm going to send some follow-up emails. I also need to just go through a large checklist of things from my assistant and from my manager. Both of them have like to-do lists that they run like they update all the time for me. So, I just need to like sit down and power through. Let me go get my laptop, actually. Okay, first thing on my to-do list is I need to post this reel. Um, our San Antonio recap reel because it is a sponsored reel and I need to get it up. Y'all, we had the best when I tell you the best time in San Antonio. So, I have family who live in San Antonio. We drove up. So, we flew into up to Austin for a night for the YouTube event that I was telling you about. And then we drove back down to San Antonio, which was the original plan was to spend the weekend in San Antonio because I have family there. So, typically when we travel, we reach out to some hotels, see if they're willing to accommodate us in exchange for some content. And often times they are able to. Sometimes they're not, and it's totally fine, but it's always worth checking, right? So, this time in San Antonio, y'all, we had the best weekend. Oh my gosh. Like, the city of San Antonio kind of blew me away. I haven't been in about 10 or maybe even 15 years, probably more than that. Um, but we wanted to go visit my grandma because she now has three great grandchildren and she moved down to San Antonio last year to live with my aunt, which is her daughter. And so we all went down there which was so fun. And we stayed at the Kimpton Santos San Antonio. Oh my gosh, it was so nice, very comfortable hotel and just beautiful. Right across the street is another hotel that's owned and operated by the same team and it is called The Plaza. and um the Plaza San Antonio. Y'all, both hotels stunning. And they treated us to a spa day. Like Cameron and I got couples massages, which were out of this world. We were like, "Honestly, this is probably like the best massage we've ever gotten. " The spa was gorgeous. Also, we also um ate at one of their restaurants. Kind of like a everyday brunch. They have dinner as well, but we have brunch there. It's called Karen. It was so good. We ordered so much stuff. We got like Caesar salad, shrimp tacos, burger, fries. Like, we literally ordered up some stuff. So, but then they treated us to a steakhouse dinner, y'all, at Dean Steakhouse inside of the Kemp Hotel. We were like, "This is top two and not number two of the steakouses we've eaten at. " like completely shocked us because we just weren't I don't know what our expectations for San Antonio were, but like you don't hear a ton of people talking about San Antonio in general. Usually when I hear people talking about Texas cities, it's always either Dallas area or Houston area or Austin. So San Antonio, like the food really good, the vibes really good. We really just enjoyed our time. So, um, really just wanted to shout out the Kemp and the Plaza hotels because they really treated us so well and that is your sign to post the content. also to reach out to hotels and to reach out if you make really good content. Um there's a chance that a hotel or even like a rental car service or I don't know some type of experience you want to try. It's a chance that they will sponsor you in exchange for some content. So, you never know. Shoot your shot, honey. So, I have to write my script for this. I already actually cut up the real. I have it already cut up inside of edits. So, I did I put all the B-roll together and now I just got to do the voice over. So, I'm going to write my script real quick because yes, I always write a script. I do not be free balling out here with these um voiceovers and with my talking head videos because that's too stressful. So

### [20:00](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gqa4CJiktbI&t=1200s) Segment 5 (20:00 - 24:00)

I'mma just whip up one real quick, record this, post it. Hopefully, I can get it posted before 9. If not, I'll just probably post it tomorrow morning. But um let's do that. Okay, I'm done with my script. I'm going to try and record it right inside of edits just because I edited the real in edits and I don't want to like I just want to keep it simple. So, this is what I mean when I say mean. content can change your life. And not even in a clout chasing way. Done with the San Antonio script and I recorded it. I do want to add a couple little like things to pop up on the screen. So, I want to do that tonight, but I'm going to try to finish up a another real script and record that because what was going to be a montage is now going to be like a actual real. So, and after that, I'll be done with content type stuff. I wanted to do some stuff for top three tonight, like more so mood boarding and kind of figuring out what we want to do for our resurgence posts. But I don't think I'm going to get to that tonight cuz it's already 10:00 and I really, really want to wake up super early tomorrow morning. I'm thinking like between 5 and 5:30 because I want to get a workout in. I just want to like really start the day strong. I'm noticing if I don't start the day strong, the whole day kind of gets away from me. And I need at least an hour before Ripper wakes up, preferably 2 hours. And she usually wakes up around 8. So if I get up at 5, that means I have 3 hours of time to myself, which I can do whatever, read, eat breakfast, work out, like the world is my oyster in the morning. Okay. Um, and as much as I've tried to resist being a morning mother, it's just there's no way around it. I saw this one lady say, "Mothers need rhythm. " And it's really hard to get like you don't need to be a perfect mom. You mom in rhythm. And if you can't catch that rhythm, you always feel like you're kind of playing catchup. And especially even if like you're a working mom, I think when you're trying to balance the two, it's like you've got to find that stride. And the only way that I feel optimal is when I wake up really early. So that's the goal. But the thing about waking up early, you got to get your butt in the bed early. Okay? And when I say early, I mean like I need to be sleep by now. It's 10:05, which means that it's 10:05. I'm not even upstairs yet. I still got to wash my face. take my hair down. I still got to put on pajamas. — I still got to cuddle my man. It's going to be 11 11:15 before I even think about being sleepy. And I just ate ice cream, which that's going to that sugar is also, you know what? I'm digressing. So, anyway, I say all that to say good night. I have an exciting week, so I'll probably be vlogging quite a bit. You guys get to meet Ashley, who is new on the team. We're going to have a content day. We're going to go out and film some really good content for like Instagram and some reals and just ah I'm so excited. And yeah, and then I'm sure you'll be seeing like the San Antonio and Austin content going live on Instagram soon. So check that out. Um I love you guys and I will see you in the next one. Bye for now.
