3 Steps For Winning With AI (for creatives, writers, copywriters, and digital marketers). 🤖✍️ Get The Human Copywriter’s AI Handbook ►► https://go.copyposse.com/brainstorm-333-ytd

In this video, I'm talking about how can you stay on top of current technology and continue to land premium clients... without selling your soul or feeling out of integrity with your craft.

Everyone’s talking about AI right now… but they’re all asking the wrong questions. The question is not “do I use AI or not use AI?”... And the question is certainly not “will AI replace me?” 👉 Because the writers, creatives, marketers, and business owners who will win this decade aren’t the ones who use AI for everything (and they're also not the ones who use AI for nothing). They're the ones who strike a smart balance.

What you’ll learn:
→ My 3-step framework for using AI as a creative
→ How to become more valuable, more irreplaceable, and more in-demand writer than ever before
→ How to use AI with integrity (ask yourself this ONE question before you publish)

### [0:00](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HFkJde4eOLY) Attention Writers! We Need To Talk About AI…

Okay, writers, listen up. We need to talk about AI, but not in the way you might be expecting. There seems to be two common views floating around

### [0:08](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HFkJde4eOLY&t=8s) The 2 Dangerous Views About AI

the internet when it comes to AI and the future. There's the pessimistic view, gloom, doom, humans replaced, why even try, and the optimistic view, AI fixes everything, it ends wars, it saves the environment, and we all get to live happily ever after. Well, I think both of these views are equally harmful. Why? Because they operate under the assumption that we as humans have absolutely no control over any of it. That we should just throw up our hands and outsource all of our power, our empathy, and our decision-making to some fancy pattern predictor. And no matter what way you slice it, that is dangerous. Now, listen, I am definitely not here to tell you to not use AI. It is here, and it is here to stay, and it's only going to get better. But personally, I don't believe that AI is our arch-nemesis, just like savior. Said this since ChatGPT launched back in 2022, AI is a tool, not a takeover. Sure, it's the most powerful tool of our generation, no one is arguing about that. One that is causing us to rethink, redesign, and reimagine literally everything, but we as

humans were literally made to evolve, to pivot, to adapt. And if you think about it, as a writer, a creative, a marketer, and a storyteller, you are literally among the most qualified people on the freaking planet to use AI powerfully and intentionally without outsourcing your creativity, originality, and humanity. And this is

exactly why giant tech companies like Anthropic and OpenAI are investing so much in hiring human storytellers and content marketers right now. So, let's talk about what this means for you. Welcome to part one of a three-part

### [1:46](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HFkJde4eOLY&t=106s) Overview: The 3-Part AI Series

series I am doing on AI and the future of writing. In this video, I'm going to share my three-step framework for how to win with AI as a writer. These three steps are going to help you stay on top of the current tech without selling your soul or feeling out of integrity with your craft. This is a key part of the AI conversation right now, and honestly, it really needs to be had. In part two, I will talk about the future of writing jobs. Yes, what you've heard is true, AI is making some writing jobs obsolete, but not all of them. In fact, there's a very specific type of writing that is actually thriving right now because of AI, and we'll talk about that next week. And in part three, I'm going to talk specifically about copywriting. Do businesses really still need to hire copywriters to pump out words when AI can do it for free and literally in a few seconds? Why should a business owner hire a copywriter instead of relying on AI? And what exactly can you do as a copywriter to position yourself as valuable and irreplaceable to your dream clients? That video is going to be juicy because I am coming at you with real receipts of conversations that I've had with business owners and copywriters about this exact topic. I think you'll find what they had to say very interesting. So, make sure to subscribe to my channel below so you don't miss any of these videos coming up next. Now, let's get into it because oh, baby, do I have some tea to spill in this video with a story that you absolutely need to hear. But first

### [3:17](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HFkJde4eOLY&t=197s) The Real Question You Should Be Asking About AI

if you've been following me for a while, then you already know that I have been pretty vocal about the dangers of over-relying on AI. And I stand by every single word I've ever said there. Creativity is a muscle. If you outsource every single thought, idea, or decision to a robot, of course that muscle will begin to atrophy. And I've talked about this, you know, — at least a million times, but here's the catch. Refusing to use AI at all is not protecting your creativity, it's just leaving leverage on the table. The writers, the marketers, the business owners who will win in this decade are not the ones who use AI for everything, and they're nothing. They are the ones who really understand where AI plays its role and strikes a smart balance. So, today I want to give you a real practical framework for how you can actually do that as a writer, as a creative, as a marketer, as someone who really cares about the work that you put out into the world. Now, here's the reframe that I really want you to hold in your mind throughout this whole video. — Stop asking, "Will AI replace me? " and start asking, "What could I create if AI actually handled this for me? " Because what actually kills creative output isn't a lack of ideas, it's the time-consuming admin work and the finicky and the research rabbit holes and the first draft paralysis. Those repetitive tasks that eat hours of your day before you've ever written a single sentence that actually matters. So, what if AI took all of that off your plate so that you could spend more time doing the true deep creative work that only you can do? So, think of it like this. A master chef doesn't chop every single vegetable by hand to prove that they are a real chef. They have an assistant for that, someone who does all the prep work so they save their skills for what actually ends up on the plate. You are the chef, my friends, and AI is the assistant. So, how do you actually do this? Here is my three-step framework for using AI the right way as a writer or creative. Step

### [5:16](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HFkJde4eOLY&t=316s) Step 1: Audit Your Workflow

number one, audit your workflow. So, my advice is to write down every single thing you do in a given week. not talking about general broad buckets here, get super

granular. So, for example, starts sounding exactly alike, the humans who still sound like humans become the most valuable voices in the room. Now, we have to talk about the other side of

### [8:20](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HFkJde4eOLY&t=500s) Responsibility, Ethics & Using AI in Marketing

this because using AI well isn't just about protecting your creativity, it's also about protecting your integrity, and to me, that is just as important. And yes, I have a story. So, something happened to me recently that honestly rattled me to my core, and I think it's the most important lesson for you to take away from this entire video. So, a well-known marketer recently used AI to generate an image of a woman that looked eerily identical to me to promote his copywriting tool. It looked so much like me that people were actually sending it to me and commenting on his ad asking how in the world he got me to model for him. And when I called it out, his response was, "It's a coincidence. " Okay, sure, we'll go with that. But this coincidence raises a point that I think every single person using AI in their marketing needs to hear. When you use AI tools, you do not get to check your responsibility at the door. You train your AI. You chose the prompts, you look at the output, you make the choice to publish it, and you choose to profit from it. AI didn't make those decisions, you did. And right now, we are in the wild freaking west of AI. There are no clear rules, no fences, no sheriffs, no laws yet, and a lot of people here are taking that as an invitation to do whatever they want. And then they blame the machine when it all blows up in their face. It's like blaming the dog for eating your homework. It's old, it's tired, nobody believes you. So, here's the one question that I want

### [9:50](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HFkJde4eOLY&t=590s) The Accountability Test

you to tattoo on your brain before you publish anything AI-assisted. Ask yourself, "Would I be proud to put my name on this? In other words, would you proudly claim it as yours? If the answer is yes, go ahead and publish it. If you're hesitating, that hesitation is telling you something. Listen to it. Because here's what I know to be true about marketing. These tools only amplify who you already are. If you are a thoughtful, empathetic marketer, AI can make you even more powerful, more efficient, and more impactful. If you're a lazy and irresponsible marketer, AI just lets you cause more damage and hurt more people faster. So, let's zoom out for a hot second, right? Because AI is

### [10:29](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HFkJde4eOLY&t=629s) Why AI Is Making Human Writers MORE Valuable

only going to keep getting better and better. The cost of producing content and copy and ads and design is going to keep dropping. In fact, AI content has already surpassed human content online. And, my friends, that makes trust, authenticity, and human connection scarce, and therefore even more valuable. That is what you are building when you invest in your human skills and your craft. When you develop your voice, your point of view, your storytelling skills, you are not just learning to write, you are building the one thing that AI will never be able to take away from you or manufacture at scale. So, here's what I want you to take away from this entire video. Do not fear AI, but don't worship it either. Use it like a tool, protect your creativity and your integrity like the premium assets they are. Because in a world full of AI-generated everything, the most rebellious thing that you can do is stay deeply — and unapologetically human. Use the tools only output, and never, ever, ever publish something that you wouldn't proudly put your name on. And that is how you win with AI in this year and beyond. So, if this resonated with you, please share this video. This conversation needs to get louder.
