I've done some analysis of how many reviews did games have before they got a daily deal because I scrape Steam every day to collect what games got daily deals. And I find that there are sometimes games that get as few as a hundred reviews getting daily deals. Okay? So, what you can do is I would recommend anybody if you've got a 100red reviews and it's been within a year. Now, six years since you launched again, this isn't going to work. But if you've gotten about 100 reviews in a year, I would just email support. And you go into Steamworks and there's a support bar, open support. Just say, "Hey, I'm about to do an update. " And always couch it as an update. Say, "I'm going to do an update. Can I do a daily deal? I'm going to do an update in, let's just say, August. " Give them lots of time. I would even say like, "Hey, I'm going to do it in December. I'm going to do an update in December. Would it be possible to get a daily deal? " And then you wait back. And sometimes, not every time, somebody will be like, "You know, your game look pretty fun. I see you're updating it. You're a good dev. Why not? " And they'll give you access to that calendar to tool. They'll say, "We activated the calendar tool. " And then you go to Steamworks and you can pick that date. So, if you're nice, don't be a jerk, and you're doing an update to your game and you're a good dev who's done lots of updates and people are liking it, it's not mixed, you might be eligible for a with.
