We asked on socials what content would you like to see from Google Cloud Next 26 and it looks like you wanted to see demos. So, that's what we're going to do. Let's go find some demos. So, you already know about like hot reload, right? Where like I want to change the color, the style, the text of the button and it's instantaneously done on every device that I'm currently developing on. Okay, well now let's say you want to take a language that Dart programming language that's used in Flutter and use it on the back end. It's you can now share business logic, you can get the type safety, you get the AOT speed compile, right? You get near instantaneous cold start adding, right? For using Firebase Cloud Functions is that you can change this increment button, right? To say decrement and you know, that's fine. You can hot reload on the app, but it's not actually doing it on the server. But now if you use Dart and Firebase Cloud Functions you can now instantly hot reload and have it do different logic and decrement on the back end for you. So, if we go over this, you can see we're clicking and this is our multiplayer uh counter, right? So, like if anybody goes and clicks on this link right here, they will see their number of counts and then everybody's global total number of counts. So, this is the Flutter clicker app. Uh-huh. — Right? If we go over here and we say change, you know, like what we say, decrement. Right? It's the Flutter going to misspell my misspell something. So, um we have a Flutter Android app. It's running over here. That's it. And we go find Let's see, where is this one? Is this it? Hot reload, decrement, right? But if I click on this, it's still going up. Well, I don't want that, right? So, let's go to the server and instead of saying increment, I go to decrement. Wait for it to save in the background because I'm running a bunch of Firestore sort of uh things, this should now let's see do it. Do it. Why don't you do the thing? There it is. Going down. So, we've now changed this on the fly. And the great thing about Dart it compile it's AOT compiled executable, right? You're not loading up Node, Python. The cold starts are going to be near instantaneous. It's the fastest way to do Cloud Functions. — You know the community has been waiting for this, right? — Oh, yeah. I've been waiting I've been wait I've been waiting for this since I don't know, 2011. Okay, you've been waiting longer than I have. Then this. Okay. Cool. Thanks, Shawn. Yeah, no worries. —
