— It's Sunday morning. Luke and I just went to the beach and I want to do a slow life admin / reset day. Before that, I need a shower away the beach. I

wanted to get super clean in my shower, so I used my Kitsch rice water protein solid shampoo bar and solid conditioner bar. These bars are such a two-in-one for me because I wanted to try shampoo and conditioner bars because they're bottle free, no single use plastic. But I've also heard so many good things about rice protein on your hair. Rice water can aid in hair growth, it can make your hair a little smoother, it can reduce breakage. Perfect for fine hair like mine. Kitsch has sold over 16 million shampoo and conditioner bars worldwide. They sell in the US and they also sell internationally to over 90 countries. When I was first trying the bars, I was really scared cuz I was like, firstly, this is a whole new type of way of washing your hair. I've never washed my hair with bars before. I was scared that it wouldn't really lather like a normal shampoo and conditioner. It lathered up great. Secondly, I have fine hair. My fine hair also gets really oily really quick. So far though, the rice water and my hair are working beautifully together. I've been brushing out my hair after using my Kitsch products — and it's feeling so soft and almost full, which is something that I can't say about my hair like ever. My hair is not full. If you've been thinking about trying rice water protein, getting shampoo and conditioner bars instead of having plastic bottles, I would really recommend. I also got the terracotta self-draining soap dish. It has a self-draining design so that you can keep your bars dry and fresh for longer. Use my description link to get 25% off. start. It's 11:00 a. m. but I'm going to sit down. I'm going to write out a bunch of things that I want to get done today. We're focusing on little life admin tasks and little life reset tasks that will set me up for the week ahead. If you're trying to do a brain dump of tasks but you can't think of anything, this is the perfect video. I privated it accidentally for a second but it's back. Because I'm starting this day a little later, I'm going to rate every task by how much it'll impact my sense of calm to get it done. And then I'm going to do my tasks in that order. Okay, here's what we've got. The highest impact thing

### [2:00](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2YxKpQtyb5I&t=120s) Tidy House for Calm

I could do right now for my sense of calm is tidy my house. I wasn't really in the mood to tidy as I was tidying. I tidied up this little section of the kitchen that always gets really messy. I cleaned up the fruit bowl. I tidied up the lounge area where I sometimes sit of a morning and have my little coffee, decaf. I even did a little vacuum. My office was also a little messy, so I went ahead and I got that tidy. When I got to my bedroom, getting that tidy also felt amazing. But my lamp had fallen off and honestly, it's been off for like a week and a bit. And in my head I kept saying, I'm going to get to that, that. Now is finally the time to get to it. This is a little rechargeable sconce. You guys actually saw me put it up. I used a lot of really strong tape from Bunnings and got that back up, which honestly felt like such a relief. I have been moving so slowly today and everything I'm doing I am I'm doing at the pace of a snail. Even my tidying today, it's felt like it's just been me being like, yep, and I'm doing it. And even still I'm like, I'm so glad that I've got a tidy house. Like I feel so good for having done that. So much self-care is worth doing slowly and almost I would say some self-care is like better done slowly. I've had two weekends of bringing big bags to places and these bags are just full of random stuff, so I'm going to empty those. That'll feel really good to get these out of my room. Sometimes the answer to low motivation and feeling sluggish really is just taking small actions because even at this point I was feeling so much more energetic and motivated. I feel so much better. It's crazy how tiny little admin tasks will make you feel like a new person. Okay, we've tidied the house, we've put all our electronics on charge. Now it's time to make tofu

scramble for the week. I've been feeling kind of low energy, not just today but just in general. I went out, I got iron and B12 tablets. Now I want to make a healthy breakfast for the rest of the week. I've been eating muesli for breakfast every morning and I think it's time we go back to a trusty favorite, tofu scramble. And to get my fiber in, we're going to make some chia puddings with this chocolate chia pudding mix. This is from the brand Good Puddings and it's delicious. Good Puddings was created by one of my subscribers but I'm not biased. Luke ordered these for us. We have two kilos, it's so good. I specifically followed a tofu scramble recipe that's designed for energy. I'll have it linked below but it had a few things I don't usually put in like spinach, sunflower seeds, crushed walnuts, all designed to give you a more energetic day. I've always found that getting protein first thing in the morning keeps me pretty full and not too snacky. I only went back to muesli for ease. Chia puddings are my favorite easy way to get fiber, so I made up three separate chia puddings that I can have either alongside breakfast or just throughout the day when I'm feeling a little snacky. Having a healthy breakfast sorted for the week, or at least for the first like three, four days, feels so good because I know having done that is going to impact me every single day this week. Unfortunately, a Sunday reset pays off every single time. Now I want to pick the recipes that me and Luke are going to cook this week. Usually Luke and I do this together but he's out, he's watching UFC. And honestly, I kind of love a day with just me at home. My sister isn't here, my niece isn't here. Life is good. I'm still using the system that I set up earlier this year, one of the best things I've done. I laminated a bunch of A5 recipes and every week we just pick three. And then I stick them up on the whiteboard. It is the simplest meal planning system in the world. It takes a bit of energy up front but later down the line it really pays off. Luke's in a healthy mindset, so we're going to go with broccoli tofu, a herby halloumi and carrot couscous bowl, and a barbecue pumpkin and spinach bowl. Once I've picked my recipes, I just put them up on the whiteboard. And because this is laminate, it's erasable, so I just put a little black dot on anything that I need to buy. I did a little online grocery shop using my recipe cards. And once you've bought an ingredient, you can just get rid of any marks. The next thing on my list is looking at my ironing board. This one is a fold-out ironing board and the other day it got bumped and I haven't touched it since. So I haven't really been ironing my clothes, which is fine. So I need to figure out what has gone on because I really have been avoiding looking at it. I don't know if I can fix it right now but even if I can just figure out like how is it going. Okay, so it still folds out. It really actually isn't as bad as I thought. I think I can fix this on my own. When it broke, I was like, oh no, it's gone for good and I just haven't wanted to look at it. But now that I'm looking at it, it's really not looking so bad. But I think I can try. Okay, that was easy. I've been dreading this. Such a waste of mental energy to dread that. The next thing on my list is creating a project plan for my mom's 70th, which isn't until June but I just want everything to be super smooth and I don't want to be rushing closer to her 70th. So I'm going to create a project plan for that. But I also want to share it with my mom and my sister and I feel like Notion has a little bit of a learning curve, so I actually think I'm going to create it in Milanote. I feel like getting that creative will feel really good and I'll be able to assign people with tasks and jobs. This should only take me 30 or so minutes, fingers crossed. Okay, feeling so much clearer on my mom's 70th. Got my dad a birthday card. Got my mom a Mother's Day card while I was at it. It's 5:30 p. m. and everything

that was rated as like a high calm impact, done, ticked off. But since I still have a little more time in the day and I feel like I've actually gained energy over the day, I might as well just spend the rest of the night ticking little things off cuz why not? I quickly ticked off this to do around sorting my dad's birthday out. Lots of birthdays going on. Quick and easy one out of the way. Let's do a quick car clean out while there's still a little light outside. This is my rearview camera and it's been detached and it just keeps on falling off, so I'm going to try to use the sticky stuff to put it back on while I'm here. It's sticking, it's working. Fingers crossed it stays. Okay. For some reason I felt like my car was really cluttered and needed a clear out. There were only like two things that I actually needed to get out of my car. So that felt good. And then my groceries arrived and because I don't really love to cook throughout the week, it felt like the best investment of my time to do a bunch of ingredient prep. So I cleared the dishwasher, put all of the groceries away, I got a bit of laundry done and then I got chopping. I had Love on the Spectrum playing in the background. I ended up chopping up a bunch of pumpkin, a bunch of tofu, putting some sauces together ready for

the week. Don't forget to check out Kitsch using my link in the description below. If you're looking to make the switch to shampoo and conditioner bars, for the rice water benefits, for convenience, or to be more environmentally friendly, I appreciate you so much and I'll see you in the next one.
