Now, what makes a bad boss kind of depends on your perspective, but some people think, "Oh, maybe I'll try to talk to HR, get that person removed. " It's very difficult to get your manager removed. It's better to just leave. The fourth is a poor work culture. Again, that can be defined by you, but one of the things you want to look for is psychological safety. Are people feeling comfortable speaking up, making mistakes, all that. Google's long-term study, Project Aristotle, found that was the number one factor to high-performing teams.
