### Segment 1 (00:00 - 01:00) []

This is part five of transforming and decorating my dream loft in Chicago. This is where we left off in my last video. I told you guys about how I wanted to create my dream vinyl setup. So, today we're working on that. Right now, I have this random shelf and it's just very cluttered and it's also hard to reach my record player that's at the top. So, here are some info pics of what I want to create for this space next to the TV. I ended up finding this media console that would fit the space, my record player and the vinyls perfectly. And Archie Bay had the genius idea to stain the wood so it can match the space better. And this is him unboxing and prepping it to stain it. He added this masking tape on the glass part. This is a display cabinet that I got from IKEA and we ended up going with this stain from Home Depot. The painting was a timeconsuming process and of course we had to let it dry so we finished it over the course of 2 days and here is what it looked like with the stain on. It was a bit more red and darker than we anticipated but I did end up liking it. Archie Bay did the honors and finished building it and here is what it looked like with the stain and completely built. I was very happy about it and now it's time to put everything together. So I took my old shelf and completely emptied it. I'm probably going to put this in a different room. And then we put the cabinet in this exact spot and it fit the nook perfectly because this is placed right next to the TV. The TV box and my gaming consoles are connected and have to go inside of this. So, we did drill a hole. Shout out Archie Bay again. He was very helpful in this entire process. And then it was time for the fun part, which was to fill it and put all of my vinyls inside. I've been collecting so many over the past few years. And on the other side, I put this tomato lamp, my switches, and the TV box. But I'm going to end up fixing it because the cables underneath looked like a mess. Then I went ahead and added my record player to the top and this IKEA lamp that I got in my Smiskies. Cable management and hiding all of them was the hardest part, but we ended up putting it in this box. And then I just put a vinyl in front of it to cover all of it. And now there are no messy cables underneath and you can't even tell. Then I added this plant that I got at IKEA and we added some pellets. And here is what the inside is looking like. I'm really happy with how it turned out. Now for the wall space above, I had these vinyl holders from my last apartment, so we decided to put these on the wall above. And guys, here is the final reveal. It looks so good. I feel like it's going to be so much more easy to use my record player. Now all of the wires and consoles are completely hidden and it's just so good. I could not stop staring at it. Here's what it looks like at night. But let me know what you think and I'll see you in my next decorating
