### The 3 Levels of Communication Mastery []

Every time you open your mouth, people unconsciously place you in one of these three categories. Are you an awkward communicator, pretty good communicator, or natural communicator? Well, in this video, I'm going to break down these three levels of communication mastery based on how you use your voice, body language, and your words. And by the end of this video, you will know exactly where you are at right now and move to the next level. If you're new here, hi, my name is Bishal Zakar. For the last 16 and 1/2 years, I've been helping leaders communicate with more confidence, clarity, and executive presence. Level

### Level 1: The Rookie Communicator [0:31]

one, the rookie communicator. The rookie communicator usually does not know what they're doing wrong. Their voice sounds flat. There is no variation in their speed, the pitch, the volume, the emotion. They often use vocal fry. Too many filler words, too many non words like um a like. That instantly makes them sound unsure, unclear, and less confident. um if there's a major event in the world. So uh so that there's I don't know 250 300 million per week. — Their body language also weak. They do not know what to do with their hands. They avoid expressive gestures. Their eye contact is awkward. And because of this they are average. And when it comes to words, there is no structure. They talk in circles. They ramble. They force their listeners to work too hard to understand what they are saying. But here's the good news. You're not a bad communicator. You simply have had bad communication habits and habits can change. And by the way, if you want to become a stronger communicator and a more respected leader, subscribe to the channel right now and hit that bell notification because every single week I share practical tools to master your communication. Level two, pretty good

### Level 2: The Pretty Good Communicator [1:40]

communicator. The pretty good communicator has done some work. Their voice has more range. They vary their speed, their volume, their pitch and emotion more than the rookie communicators. Their posture is better. Their eye contact is better. Their words have more structure often because they use frameworks. But here is the here's the problem. They play too safe. They have more range, but they are afraid to use the full range and spectrum. They do not want to look too playful or too aggressive or too expressive. They just be comfortable and their gestures are repetitive. Their movements become predictable. Their voice improves, but it's not going to fully come alive. You know, pretty good communicators are often afraid of other people's judgment. And that is what steps stops them from being great. Level three, the natural

### Level 3: The Natural Communicator [2:23]

communicator. Natural communicator uses their full range of their instrument. They know how to change their rate of speech, volume, pitch, tone, pauses without forcing it. Their voice feels dynamic and alive. Their body language is intentional. Their gestures support their message. Their eye contact is stronger. Their facial expressions match the emotion in their voice. And that is powerful because people need to hear the emotion and see the emotion in order to truly feel it. And finally with words, natural communicators do more than just explain. They use stories, analogies, props, examples, and many more things to really magnify their message. They choose that one thing that creates the maximum impact. So let's quickly review.

### Quick Recap of All 3 Communication Levels [3:08]

Level one, the rookie communicator is flat, awkward, and unclear. Level two, the pretty good communicator has the skill but still plays too safe. And level three, the natural communicator uses voice, body language, words with full intentional range. The biggest
