## Транскрипт

### Segment 1 (00:00 - 01:00) []

The degree is what gets you the interview, but your mouthpiece is what actually gets you a job, and a lot of people are sitting at home confused right now because nobody told them that. Nowadays, everybody has a degree. That's not having an edge anymore. That's the baseline. The person that you're competing against for that role, they got one. They might have two, maybe three. They might even have the master's, too. So, nowadays, if you're walking in thinking that paper on the wall is going to close the deal for you, then you're going to keep getting that "We thought another candidate just fit this a little bit better" email. What actually separates people right now is the ability to sit across from somebody and articulate what you bring to the table. Not just recite your resume, but you have to articulate it, make them feel it. And that skill is something that you can build. You can use YouTube. There's resources online. University is real. You can do mock interviews with AI. Studying how to frame your actual experience and relate it to the work. — Doing that will pay a significant amount of dividends for you. I personally had to unlearn the entitlement myself. The degree, it gave me confidence, but the preparation is what gave me the actual offers. Stop waiting for the credential to do what only you can do. You have to study the craft of the interview just like you do the job itself because right now, that's what it is.
