### Segment 1 (00:00 - 03:00) []

— Kellogg really helped me accelerate my career, helped me be a confident leader, helped me be a well-rounded leader. There were three main things that made me decide Kellogg was for me. The first being the existence of the 1Y program, the second being the strength in marketing, and then the third really just being the people. As I was really looking to accelerate my career, she has been committed to Kellogg since the very beginning. — I'd always been involved in undergrad in student government, and one of my classmates just said, "Why don't you just run for president? " — When she got here in that summer of 2020 and voted by her peers to be the 1Y KSA president, that she really wanted to pay things forward. — Being the 1Y KSA president was definitely the most meaningful part of my Kellogg experience. It was a really great way to make sure that all of my classmates' thoughts and issues, concerns were all heard. I just want to be the mouthpiece for others to make sure that they get what they need. — She actually created a constitution for the 1Y KSA here at Kellogg. It's an example of how she wanted to leave things better than what she received when she got it. It's her legacy. When I think about Alyssa and how she might embody a Kellogg leader, she really has the ability to get to the point on the data side. At the same time, she cares a lot about the human element. — He exemplifies uh some wonderful leadership capabilities. Someone who's extremely goal-oriented, knows what she wants, but is really able to make the time to be with those that she cares about. — recently switched over to this role working on our new packaging, our new external communications, our new ad that launched a few weeks ago called Choose Kind. She is one of the best team members we have here in our marketing organization. She's extremely authentic and highly adaptable. I want to be the best leader I can be and be really good at leading other people and teams. After Kellogg, I just felt like there wasn't a way to give back that I was looking for. So, kind of started thinking about this idea of how could some of the things that I did when I was on KSA be part of the alumni experience. G and Sammy Goldstein became co-chairs of the young alumni board. — We both got really excited about this idea. Both of us then went to the administration with a proposal and said we'd like to make a young alumni board. Here's the business case for doing this. This is why we need better connections with young alumni back to Kellogg. — Honestly, knew that if I pitched it to him and he thought it was a terrible idea, he would tell us. He was actually like, "Oh, that's a great idea. That would really help us with some of our goals as an organization as well. " — She's really helped to develop an entire curriculum and program for those in the first five years out of Kellogg. — We have committees and work streams across careers, alumni, um, admissions. It's an opportunity to work on whatever you're passionate about. — It's a huge commitment to create something new from scratch and to realize, "Hey, there's something that young alumni might be looking for. " The young alumni board would not exist without Alyssa. She really takes it to heart to see it through. She has made the time to devote to this and really make it a big part of her mission post-Kellogg. Alyssa, you deserve this award. I couldn't be more proud of you. You deserve the young alumni award. — I couldn't be prouder of what you've done for Kellogg. I admire your dedication, your tenacity, your resilience, and your optimism. From the bottom of my heart and from everybody here at Kellogg, congratulations, Alyssa.
