## Транскрипт

### Intro []

When the payment lands in your Wise account, you can, of course, keep it there to manage multiple currencies, send transfers, or just spend directly with your Wise multi-currency card. But, if you do prefer to move it to an external bank account, or if you just need physical cash in hand, I'm going to show you the two quickest ways to get it done. I'm Andrea from Wise, so let's jump in. —

### Method 1: Transfer [0:23]

— Method one. This is for when you don't need physical cash, but you want to move the money to your or someone else's bank account, or a mobile wallet. Here's the important nuance. You won't find a button labeled withdraw in the app or in the website, but it's actually simpler than that. You just need to hit send and set up a transfer to yourself or someone else. If this is your first transfer, and you don't have any saved recipients yet, you'll need to add your first one. Whether it's your own bank account outside of Wise, or someone else's. Start by selecting the recipient's currency and their country or region. For example, you have British pounds in your Wise account and want to send them to your own bank account in the same currency. In this scenario, you select the currency British pounds, and select the region United Kingdom. Next, enter the amount. Since this is a pounds to pounds transfer, there is no conversion fee and no exchange rate. But, if your transfer involves a currency exchange, for example from British pounds to euros, you can choose to enter either the exact amount you want to send, or receive. You will see a transparent fee and a mid-market exchange rate with no hidden markups. The fee depends on your payment method. Since you are withdrawing money directly from Wise, select main account as your payment method. Quick note, depending on your region, this might be called a current or an everyday account, but the name doesn't change how it actually works for you. Once your transfer is set up, hit add a recipient. Next, select bank details, then myself if you are withdrawing to your own bank account, enter your account details in the required fields, and confirm the transfer. — Depending on the currency, you might see other withdrawal methods, too. For example, in the Philippines, you can send to an e-wallet, for Poland, you can send directly to a card, and in Canada, you can use Interac. Once you've added yourself or someone else as a recipient, the details are saved. You can complete future transfers without having to enter them again. By the way, the send button isn't just on the home screen. You can also find it inside your main account and within each of the currencies you've added. Plus, if you have money in a jar or a group, you can initiate a transfer directly from there, as well. If you want to learn more about how jars and groups work, check out our full review of the Wise personal account features in the link here. All

### Method 2: Cash Withdrawal [2:56]

right, method two, cash. This is for when you need physical money in your hand. For this, you need the Wise multi-currency card. This is available in a long list of countries, and you can order it directly in the cards tab here. Once you have the card activated, you can withdraw cash at ATMs worldwide. Basically, anywhere that accepts Visa or Mastercard. There are a few rare exceptions where the card won't work, so we've linked the list of those countries in the description below. The process is exactly the same as your regular bank card. Enter your PIN, choose the amount, and confirm. Up to a certain limit, which depends on where your card was issued, we don't charge any fees for this. To see your exact free allowance, go to your cards tab, scroll down to your spending limits, then account limits, and finally view ATM fees. But, remember, some ATMs may charge additional fees over what we charge. We have no way of predicting those charges, but they're usually visible on the ATM screen before you agree to the withdrawal. By the way, you might be wondering, if I have multiple currencies, which one gets charged? It's actually very simple. If you are, for example, in the UK, and you already hold British pounds in your account, we'll just take the money from that currency. No conversion needed. But, what if you don't have the local currency? Here is the situation

you need to watch out for. The ATM might ask if you want to be charged in the local currency, like pounds in our example, or in your home currency, — like euros. The answer is always the same. Always choose the local currency. Why? Because if you let the ATM do the conversion, they often use an exchange rate with a huge markup. Don't let them do that. So, like in our example, if you're withdrawing money in the UK, choose pounds, even if you only have euros, US dollars, or Swiss francs in your account. In that case, you let us handle the conversion. We'll do it at the mid-market rate with our standard low fee, which you can always see transparently in the app. Okay, but if

you need to withdraw pounds, but you only have euros, dollars, and francs, — which currency do we take from? Well, our smart conversion technology automatically figures that out. It checks which currency is cheapest for you to convert from right now, ensuring you pay the lowest possible fee. So, that's the breakdown.
