### Segment 1 (00:00 - 03:00) []

Hey, this is Preshall Walker. How logical are you? Here's a simple logic test that about 64% of people get wrong. That means for every three people who watch this video, approximately one person is going to get the correct answer. In front of you are three boxes numbered one, two, and three. Each box has a statement. Box one has the statement that the car is inside this box. Box two not inside this box. Box three has a statement that the car is not inside box one. Exactly one of the boxes does contain a car. statements is true. Based on this information, which box contains a car? Is it box one, box two, box three, none of the boxes, or there is not enough information to determine the answer? Can you figure it out? Let's go through this logic puzzle step by step. Let's start by analyzing each of the answer choices. Let's suppose that the car is actually in box number one. Then the statement that the car is in box number one would be a true statement. But now look at the statement on box number two. That statement says the car is not in box number two. So that would also be a true statement. The third statement that the car is not in box number one would be false. But now we have two statements that are true. And this is a contradiction to the given information that exactly one of the statements is true. So we know the car cannot be in box number one. What if the car were in box number three? Let's analyze each of the statements. The first statement that the car is in box number one would be false. The second statement that the car is not in box number two would be a true statement because the car is in box number three. The third box has the statement that the car is not in box number one, and that would also be a true statement because the car would be in box number three. But now once again, we have two statements that are true, and we were given the information that exactly one of the statements was true. So the car cannot be in box number three. Now what about the car being in box number two? one would be a false statement. The car being not in box number two would also be a false statement because the car is in box number two. And the car not being in box number one, this is the one statement that is true. So now exactly one of the statements is true. The car is in exactly one of the boxes. And therefore, the answer is the car is in box number two. There is enough information to solve this puzzle. If you worked out the correct answer, congratulation. You're part of a select group that correctly solves this puzzle. If you didn't work it out, don't worry. Logic is a skill that can be worked on. Please subscribe to my channel, and after a few videos, you'll be solving these problems in no time, and you'll be feeling they're so easy that you'll be wanting me to cover even harder problems.
