but um Hey listen kit Community Awards what what's going on with it because it it's doing some stuff right I mean it's it's done for now we um I've definitely been um on a Cloud Nine kind of moment just resting on my Laurels resting on The community's Laurels rather um because a so much went into putting that event together we had it um pl we had it planned pretty much since we did the one just within my own Community um in 2023 which I also done the same thing on Twitch people probably weren't aware I done just little ways to acknowledge people in my community that been holding it down and doing different things and Spotlight them so it's always something I've tried to do to acknowledge other people however this is our first time incorporating the community as a whole and I would say that as a community uh within the limited resources and the reach that we do have on the platform I say we did a damn good job and that's not just for myself that's for the whole team everybody involved in this community on Kick as a whole so I think we did pretty good overall what you think listen I think um I think it was amazing I think the first year was amazing um give me one second I'm hitting this uh hey may we all right sweet um look we you know obviously people are running with the kick brand right um which is amazing right so I think that that's what I love about this industry is that look if I was at a network and someone just started doing like the NBC Awards or the CBS Awards or you know even like the Prime video presents Awards right and no one in Prime video knew about what was going on right like that's what I love about live streaming is that it's all community-led right and I think that that is the difference of how this media this generation of media is coming up people want who they can trust people want authenticity people want people who they can relate to people don't stepen colar is nice right but they know that he's reading off a teleprompter right Jimmy Fallon's a nice guy but they know he's reading off to teleprompter everyone off of The View right they all know that there's an agenda and they in somebody's pocket or something else like that right like I think that that's what's fascinating about live streaming so to give you a long- winded answer about what I love about what you're doing is that it's community-led it's yours you do what you want right but ju just like you were saying like you put in the work and you get out the rewards right so because I you know just to set chat straight right because I know that there's a lot of people out there that just like ah kick is just propping up Lauren sha and she just you know um they're rolling out the red carpet y Yad y that's not the case because what happens is that guys like me or networks or like me or organizations like me they we step in and we start to water it down now right now do we scale right do we do we look at it and we start to help you scale we want to help support you and things of that nature 100% but I think it's very important that you do this through your lens and you listen to your community the way that you want to listen to them and I think that's another thing is like you got a lot of static off the first year but guess what you seem to adapt to where you adjusted the show first of all you're not going to make everyone happy and but secondly you stayed true to who you were uh in the execution so that's what I think about the kick Community Awards and I think that thank you anybody do this I think that that's the thing it just takes Vision right and here's the other thing Lauren just didn't pop up on the scene on kick like Lauren's story arc from when she started on Kick to where she's at now is amazing the hero's journey or a hero in on again big time but um yeah I think I blabbed enough can you tell us a little bit about who you brought on with you before we start dragging them in here h Ely so one thing that we wanted to make sure that we did with this award show cuz some people don't know it was 43 categories long um again it was people from the community have given suggestions for like we want people from this uh we need a horror category because you didn't add horror we need a Valor and C okay cool just whatever people came to me and if it wasin reason and we could execute it we added it that's how we ended up with having like 40 plus different categories by the end of this thing um however it's something that really does take a

village like all of these wonderful things that we have here on this platform um we have to work together we have to have people that are on your team so I wanted to make sure that we formed just a uh we really had a pretty extensive team of people who presented uh people who got to give a big flowers to uh Dr beast mode who designed the award for the show got to give a shout out to retronic who did a lot of our clips for the nominees and so on and so forth and put a lot of time and effort into this um but I had to make sure that we included uh people like aof fuzz and sugar bears Club who were in the trenches with me uh going behind the scenes trying to make sure that we got everything um oh my God just all the mind you we had like 7,000 something votes and nominations and all these things and we had people spamming it was just it was some crazy stuff so we had to go through it took hour it took a couple days really um to sift through all these different duplicate votes and spam and just a whole lot of [ __ ] um all about using email processors and all that stuff so I have to make sure I give them their flowers um they also presented Awards during the show so I got to make sure that we uh show them some huge love and we also included uh some of the people who uh we de there's a long list of people who uh won in different categories again if you didn't receive an award this year didn't get enough votes this time you're all still absolutely phenomenal creative you didn't get nominated at all it doesn't take away from um how amazing that people are it's just good to see people come together in General on this uh so we have a few different uh winners in some different categories some that might have won multiple Awards some that won awards um within the community on the rise category that's that under 30 CCV um type of community that's still growing and developing branching out um and then we had uh some different Niche categories like podcasting and we also had Niche Creator we had a pools categ we had all types of things so we want to represent as many people as we could across the board and that is why a lot of these uh guests that will be joining us today uh were selected to be a part of this process hell yeah let's uh let's just start dragging people in now here I'll just drag them in um and then we'll just get we'll get the conversation started so um I got fuzz coming in I got Good Vibes Greg lazy Panda coming in I got sugar bears Club coming in I got Sweet Cakes 2112 coming in hell yeah yo yo yo audio check's good my man looking good hello yo yo how we doing good hell yeah all right and we got um we'll wait for the other two to pop on but uh I think lazy pandas coming in from Scotland and then um I think sugar bears should her cameras should be firing up what's up good to see y'all so Lauren this is your crew yes so ultimately I want to make sure that I say thank you guys for even um coming to be a part of this I know there was a lot of different people that were involved in this process but we wanted to make sure especially one of the big feedbacks that we get a lot of times um as partners and as just people in general on uh who've been on Kick to oh my God it's always Partners someone with a check mark and everybody has something to say about that um and I myself have had things to say about that where I'm like well I already go ahead sweet go ahead oh okay she um thep it's a team effort y'all um but I feel like the Affiliates are truly the heart of the platform so we do want to give the opportunity um to other people I've talked about this during my first discussion with you and Eddie when I came on Kick to back in August that I feel like there should be an Affiliates only episode or it should be affiliate verified partner whatever the case even just viewers if you could um to get everybody's different feedback on the platform and that way you can incorporate it and get all people's perspectives to increase the um growth of the platform and the functionality of it as a whole so that's the goal so I'm glad and I some you go be like oh well why wasn't I and why wasn't this well there's hopefully going to be a lot of opportunities um and this is a stepping stone to get more people who are affiliated and verified uh in this space or even non- streamers in this space as well so I think this is an awesome first step so thank you guys for joining us today yeah thank you for having us how about we just have you guys go around just tell chat a little bit about who you guys are um you know just real quick to comment on Lauren's Lauren stuff yet look kick to KI to's always evolving right always

evolving even to the point where we're kind of like all right do we do interviews more like this that are round table or do we do interviews that are more one-on-one or do we bring on three people and do one-on-one interviews right so we are still messing with the format like crazy we also we'll do a two-hour episode we'll do a 4H Hour episode we'll do five hour episode however we do at the you know look we've had everyone from sneako on to steamy streamers right um and I think steamy was unverified at the time we've had you know uh kick tournament Network as fast as we'll have on you know tips out you know the CEO of otk um you know we'll have Aurora Phoenix on who is a vtuber you know as fast as we'll have Aiden Ross on right so yes is it tough to get to everybody 100% but what I want to make it known is that um we're out there and we're trying and um you know episodes like this need to keep happening right um just like episodes like when we brought on Aiden sneo neon ice and and abs like that that those episodes need to happen also but what you're never going to have here guys is a PR manager meet with you guys first and say that you need to present yourself as X Y and Z or you're never going to have a PR manager sit there and give you a list of talking points so that we can push a narrative all right um what you what everyone gets is that you you're getting the same treatment that Aiden got and steamy streamers got and what we really want to have happen is you guys just to come on and speak your mind so that you represent the area that you're coming from right the your community the community you're coming from so um I think Lauren can speak to this we did the same thing with the phas program right so like the first class had people that had 10 CCV all the way up to 1500 CCV and they came from all different categories but what was important about that is that we heard from everybody so um this is why kick talk exists um and we're we just got to get better every week uh to Lauren's point but um yeah let's kick it off with uh sugar bears right uh yeah yeah in and introducing each other right I had the pleasure of meeting sugar bears at a dream hack uh and uh it was just it was awesome to meet her and then also she's got great fashion sents so uh let's just let's let's kick it over to her real quick I am sugar bears Club AKA sugar a lot of people call me sugar for short which is no problem um I am all about doing what you love remember you are somebody remembering you are somebody smile cuz even in people bad days people in your bad days if you make somebody smile it might brighten your day and far as stream goes I'm all over the place on streams yes I'm a variety streamer I talk a lot of crack I play a lot of sports games well mainly right now I only play 2K but I did dabble in all the other sports games and y'all know me also as when I first stepped on Kick I actually came to kick for the and because they handed me a WNBA category for me to pay the W mode Let's go so I can't wait for 3v3 unrival to the premiere on the 17th y ain't gonna hear me shut up about it so tell me a little bit uh more about that so when you first came on um who gave you the WNBA category how did that work out like did you just reach out to staff did staff come into your chat what was the story behind that I reached out to staff because on the purple side of things you only we only could stay in the regular male NBA 2K category they wouldn't give up with all the emails and everything they would not give a separation to the W mode so when thanks to Lauren fuzz they was like well why don't you write an email to see if you can get this category and lo and behold I wrote an email thanks to my nice AI generator when it comes to texting and writing emails 24 hours later got an email back when you have the two WNBA category hell yeah I fell off of it a little bit because I got a little

started getting a little bit upset that people started coming in telling me I'm in the wrong category and everything because the category has not been updated so cool working on you've been on Kick for a while you and OG so uh thanks so much for coming on the show Big Time appreciate it yeah but let me kick it over to Greg Good Vibes Greg he's got that energy drink going because it's early yeah I'm still waking up uh yeah you guys can call me Greg Good Vibes Greg um actually formerly known as Good Vibes official on Twitch um been streaming getting close to four years and uh I moved my community from twitch uh we were a RuneScape Community old school RuneScape and I know Eddie is an old school runescaper as well so I kind of thought that was interesting kind of coincidences right but uh yeah no I just been streaming on kid I mean respectfully I know on Twitch they gave me a platform but I did the math I was on a one you know an apartment myself they took like 14k away from me so when I saw yeah when I saw kick I was like why not go here guys and uh I know there's been you know struggles here and there right but uh you know I even asked my community last night I was like you guys still like it here right and they're like yeah no it's good so yeah hell yeah uh fuzz jump in man what's up guys My Name Is AO fuzz um content creator here over on Kick I moved uh from twitch uh because they were holding my money hostage so I moved over uh told my community said you know let's go try this kick thing and see what it's about uh came over here and I have not looked back since I deactivated my affiliate status over there on Twitch and said goodbye I'm over here moved over my FPS Community uh I like to play a little bit of variety games horror FPS uh I do a podcast um about mental health and just uh getting to know the streamer behind the camera kind of like we're doing now so um that's what I'm about and I've always just been a supporter of Good Vibes and good times and also you know just letting people know that the Affiliates are your bread and butter of this platform because without Affiliates you wouldn't have a lawren sh the other people on the platform that's very but that's just me no to totally agree 100% agree I mean I myself I know this is um I still am an affiliate I am not verified um the tough part for me is getting in the hours um and I know that that's uh an eye roll because I'm staff right but um I think it's important because like you guys have nine to fives you guys some might have families you might have families is on the way you might be getting married um you guys have a lot of stuff going on in life um and the point that I'm why I'm saying all that is that it is tough in life to get in front of a keyboard and camera and start producing your own content on your own right when you're doing it all on your own and then you have to put everything aside aside like the argument you had with your spouse or a bill that came in or you're late on some sort of thing or you got something to do or you know life's just hitting you like crazy and then you come in here and you got to put on a good face and you have to show out and it's even more demoralizing when you're grinding towards metrics um and you just feel like you can't get there right um so I totally hear everything that you're saying behind what you're saying um and we think about that you know every day so um you know from one podcast or another I'm going to kick it off to Lazy Panda to uh intro herself and then we'll round it out with Sweet Cakes hi I'm Panda um so I've been on Kake for just over a year and a half I started off as a variety streamer and kind of moved into horror being my focus at the beginning of last year and then around about April last year I started up kick conversations which is a weekly podcast where I feature a different kick streamer and we talk about we showcase them we talk about kick as a platform the Goods the bads we talk about streaming in general um we keep it really conversational hence the name um and um I was lucky enough to win podcaster of the year at Len's lovely um Awards um and yeah that's me okay ready ready okay so my name is Sweet Cakes you guys can call me sweet but I was over on Twitch first I was very small but I mean we lose friends we gained friends I

didn't really grow on Twitch so I did the switch to fully Go full kick obviously not everybody is a fan of kick I was like you know what you guys don't have to follow me but I'm going to do this and we're going to pretty much Rebrand and here I am now I stream variety I'm a horror streamer I do just chatting I dance with both B I'm pretty sure everybody knows Bobo you know he has a little the boobies okay but we do a lot of I just have fun with it to be honest I just but that's it I mean just have fun with it I that's me and a nutshell literally but it was nice to be on there yeah oh yeah so um Lauren tell us a little bit about um k Community Awards what these guys mean um to the kiit community Awards and and why they get on your radar right and why you think people you know whe whether they're staff or they won an award like you know why do you think people started voting for them right and 7,000 votes coming in and people you know the community responding so um tell us what these guys mean to the to the K Ki Community as a whole your thing so in my opinion it's kind of like circles back to what fuzz says um the Affiliates are the um heart of the community they make up the majority of the people who stream here uh I'm not sure if there's more streamers or viewers in this platform world I feel like there's got to be more viewers than streamers however um it's mostly Affiliates and then we also have our verified level streamers and you have Partners kcip all that kind of different stuff right so I feel like the award show as a whole we tried to make sure that we had C ories that would intentionally um incorporate all types of people so there are categories like the kcip created the year or the verified Shimmer of the year and there's also a category for example like um my girl uh Sweet Cakes was the winner in this category for Community On The Rise that was one curated for people that are currently doing under 30 uh CCV on an average uh to try to make sure that we highlight people it's only for Affiliates um to highlight those people that sometimes might not always be on the front page or might not always uh feel like sometimes you feel overlooked even there have been times myself in certain situations when I've felt overlooked or it's like dang I'm doing all this and that and I they ain't showing us but you know but you can't uh get caught up in that um you have to be in love with what you're doing as um as fun before anything else I feel like people get caught up in numbers and all these different things and I got to get kcip because I got I gotta make them all that kind of stuff um so it's supposed to just reflect somebody who is On The Rise who is having fun um where they're at and also looking uh to grow and continue to develop so I believe a lot of the people like uh sweets and also Triggs was another person who got like The Rising Star Wars someone who's standing out he is a verified streamer I didn't know who the hell he was honestly until uh I got to uh start facilitating this show and I think that's another bit of feedback that I got was um oh it's just people that you like I'm like I know these people like a l these people genuinely did not know but I got the opportunity to discover them uh by doing it somebody named conquer Stone in my own chat I had no idea who he was he's from Brazil um he's become one of my favorite people just because I've got to interact with him through this so it's a great way not only for um us to come together celebrate each other's achievements but to connect with other streamers that we might not be familiar with uh so I definitely think that people caught on to this the ones that wanted to the people whose Community uh you know just cared enough to participate the like I can always say these Awards only they only have as much value as you place on to them this is a streaming award show this is not the Grammys Oscars it's a it's something that we made on canva with art and did all these beautiful things and it's a great way to see people um you know come together and do all that stuff but at the end of the day if you don't give a damn about it you don't have to um there was some feedback we got like why didn't Aiden rth win this and why didn't because Aiden rth Community didn't vote they they didn't care vote um so and so's Community they didn't care the voter some of them spam voted and cheated and we had to get rid of all their cheats and they still won with the votes that they did you know what it's all what you put into it so I love seeing uh lazy Panda clearly has a community around her that sees what she's doing with the and there were some awesome podcasters like sin x was also in that category and bull fuz Q they're amazing people um but lazy Panda just JY her community came out and had the most votes what can you say um because if don't go by numerical genuine votes then

it's oh Lauren is just picking who uh she wants and now you have a real issue so we can only go by what we're seeing and in your community steps up and support you to get you two uh Awards Good Vibes Greg got two different categories of Good Vibrations and remind me of the second boss uh jack of all trades that's a variety shammer who's doing a lot of different things so there was I feel like there was something for damn near anybody we had slots uh category had a pools category we had um Gaming Community the year IRL of the year I mean it was so many different um categories so the people that Community showed up uh supported them all that beautiful stuff shout out to you guys shout out to the community around you um this event was framed as kick Community Awards not kick streamer Awards because it was supposed to also reflect the people who um are in your personal Community who um make this platform what it is because without people coming to support us we just streaming to ourselves and I guess you can just have the camera off at that point um so yes and then of course I gotta also give acknowledgement again to sugar and fuzz maybe they can speak to this as well they uh were um inspired to do their own uh affiliate level only award show earlier this year and it was absolutely phenomenal and they invited me to come on as a third host and I was so proud to be a part of that uh but just seeing them making sure that Affiliates get highlighted and get some sort of uh shine and acknowledgement on the platform I that was a very beautiful sentiment because again they are the majority of the platform um I see a lot I'm sure we all see it on Twitter we see uh favoritism or this person I've been here for 34 years and kick been around for two years and somehow you've been for 34 and ain't nobody seen you and ain't nobody this and all that other drama and all that you know all the stuff uh so I just feel like the more we share this platform the more you meet uh new people and embrace one another uh we can continue to grow together uh and move forward so thank you guys again for your help fuzz and sugar huge help yeah it was fun times so I got I got a question for you guys collectively right um okay so the Lauren hit on a lot of different things right um about your community and the platform paying attention to you and I'm affiliate I'm verified I'm this I'm that blah blah and it's ever since I was on the other platform this has been always an ongoing conversation right like how much is it on the platform and streamer community and how much is it just life right so what are you guys's thoughts on like the streamer journey and where you guys are going because he look when money comes into play whether it be kcip or subscriptions or sponsorships or donations or whatever however you guys are making your living we're still doing it in a capitalism framework and the capitalism framework is that the cream Rises to the top right um all that stuff right um that's capitalism right but then you have the Humane aspect which live streaming has which is community right which is everyone's getting together I think what one thing that's amazing about the show and I think I saw ocean AR Gatsby comment on it in chat which was the most amazing thing about this stuff is that the communities come together and get to know each other and people and PE you get to know more people right but then when people start saying all right well kick should Elevate everybody on the community like that starts dipping into more of the socialistic type of Vibes right which is kind of counter to what capitalism is right and in the current system we're in and I'm asking like a kind setting up a deep prolific question because this is the reality of stuff that we're in right um and then so the way I always comment about this and break it down is I'm like well you shouldn't be waiting for the platform to give you your flowers your community should be giving you your flowers right like where are you comfortable right do you want to be doing 30k CCV like xqc or are you comfortable with like a hey it's Ruff that has 500 CCV but is able to sustain himself because of his subscriptions or are you happy at you know your 30 CCV to 100 CCV like steamy streamers right who who Who's able to be doing or like amaz who you know raps and sings and plays GTA and and his community comes up and lifts him up so I'm just asking like where do you find this balance in the world of capitalism this

idea of socialism this idea of community this idea of the cream rise the top and pay attention to me like how do you guys H tackle it so I'm GNA speak for both of us in a second speaking on the um award show that we did for the Affiliates that's the reason why we did it um we did it because we noticed there was a little bit of a gap of discoverability um there are people that just like to Vibe and have a good time with me that's what I like to do I don't care if I have two people watching me zero people watching me I just want to have a good time and Vibe out that's the reason why we wanted to do that affiliate level um award show is to get those affiliate communities together um have that Community voting and see where it could go and maybe discover some people within the community that um you haven't discovered before because like I like you know we all know in here kick is a big platform we might say it's not a big platform it's a big platform there's so many people streaming that I didn't even know streamed that I met through the these award shows and got to create Good Vibes and Good Times um and for me personally speaking on like the you know socialism and all that stuff like it's I just want to have a good time and stream um the money for me the money's never been there look I still have Founders badges so that tells you how much about not the money I'm about all right I still have Founders badges in my chat all right so um that's basically where it comes from is me and Suge just wanted to create something and really pay homage to what Lauren was doing but do it in a little bit of a bigger scale and in a bigger way for the Affiliates um where we felt it was you know honest genuine and didn't H wasn't going to have any backlash because we did Community voting it wasn't something that we just went oh you know what I think Lauren deserves an award today we're going to give her one it um it was it was that so hope that answered that question I think um it kind of comes down to the perception because we all live in different realities right some of us may have full-time jobs full you know might be a full-time parent I am a single male uh and I went full-time last year so I don't have really too much responsibilities in my life but I do have that perception reality where I do have to activate my community to keep going through my daily life uh whether it's through gifted or kcip um so I do think you do have to put the work in like you know I do believe that the cream will rise the top if you want to put your work into that um I think it just comes down to different streamers because like to you fuz right you're like hey I'm just chilling I'm just hanging out um but I think comes down to also like culture and that's what the kick Community award show just is doing uh Lauren Shay you were like one of the first friendly faces when I popped into the community or uh into the platform in the very beginning thank so to me it kind of makes sense I'm like oh Lauren's been running the show for two years which I mean other people can for sure too but it makes sense that Lauren's been doing it you've been but you've been friendly so to so many people that you know I know we have like Aiden and ice and everybody but on this type of level to this is where the culture is starting like almost like Justin TV so well I'm a full-time parent so I have three kids of my own so me finding the time cuz I'm not a full-time streamer I stream only what Wednesdays Fridays and Saturdays I keep my days my off days for my kids my family and then also I do have time for my community so people are be like well how do you make time well I make the time I try to find ways to be creative ways to make things fun for me with everybody that I Vibe out in my community so I mean we're I'm still growing I'm still learning this whole streaming thing so it's still a learning curve we're all learning together so I mean doing the whole events that little that wiow bears does also helps Branch out and meet everybody so it's like I meet different people every day I mean collabing with different people it's just it's really just have fun with it I stopped ignoring the numbers a long time ago because if not then I'm going to make myself go crazy cuz like come on I it would be nice to get verified but my day will come so we you know it's just we're just gonna have fun and just do what I want to do that's it yeah if you don't mind me asking how long how long you've been streaming um well see I streamed on Twitch for a year and then so pretty much two three years almost already

so I've been strictly on kick now for a year almost going to be two years already yep I lo I lost many friends because of the switch but are they really friends probably not so and I made new ones on the long and like on the way here so I'm happy that you it's a little competitive too on comptitive I think it's kind hard to make friends because everyone's so worried about their revenue as well just say why her why not me is what I got the whole entire time I was on Twitch I got here it's like we all can grow together like why not do it together can I mean it's everybody like that's the goal and I feel cuz it's not overly saturated where I feel like there are so many people doing so many similar things over on Twitch just not a bash twitch day you know I'm I've made peace with my Twi anti twitch how Sant Mar but yes I agree with you it was more clickish experience at first and just how Santa Maria said we have to adapt and uh I I'm a Cod player okay that's where I started off on a PlayStation a PS4 all right on Twitch and I did marbles on stream and then I did COD and I was like you know what let me just do just chatting and do what I and look at it it's we just have fun to be honest like I do freaking where's my grandpa mask at that I'm he I met Santa Maria at dream hack with my grandpa mask on so it's like I put my own personality in my streams and that's why I that's I love it I mean I'm like this on stream off stream that I have not changed okay so that okay so I I came over from Amazon twitch prime gaming Amazon games um and then Amazon entertainment when they bought out MGM um what I can tell you is that I would never be able to stream like this or answer questions like this or do anything like this on that platform there's no one can I don't care what level of executive or staffer you are you ain't doing it like this guarant gued all right I my question to you guys is so that we can learn here at kick what is your interaction with other platform staff versus kick staff like what are other platform staff doing better and what is K what can kick staff do to improve and not necessarily how are we doing things better but how are they doing things better so that we can adapt like when you talk with someone at Tik Tok or twitch Facebook or when you talk with someone at [ __ ] even like a place like livespace that that had just started up right rest in peace right like party too isn't there another one there's I don't know there there's a t of there's dive there's Africa TV there is R there's Rumble so Africa yeah um no yeah um so what are I I'm in a wrong place what are they doing right that we need to adapt like what's your experience with other staff members on other platforms versus I don't even think I experienced a staff member on Twitch like at all that's my answer I don't even think I'm still with anybody on Twitch like I've experienced a kick staff on my and we it great but twitch there no so I'm going say this right now shout out to Bob kick um because he's came in and said hello there's I think on this platform um staff is there if you need something it's less than a 30- minute response time on other platforms they should really take note to be honest with you um because whenever you need something and I don't know for any of the streamers that are in here and they could pop off and say it too whenever we've had an issue or something's gone wrong with our stream or something's going on staff is there with an in yeah with a live chat or even with you know sending an email and it gets responded right away um I don't think there's nothing you need to change just keep having that authent authenticity to like be there for the streamers especially our Affiliates new to the platform they have a lot of questions there's sometimes we feel a little bit you know like nervous about going up and let's say if you know just Lauren for instance hey Lauren how do you set up obs you know they they're afraid to do that where they can reach out and have the resources right on the

website to be able to do that so just I wouldn't change it go ahead sorry no they'll change your categories for you too like if you're not even in the right category they'll do that [ __ ] they don't do that [ __ ] on Twitch it would be great it's like oh you're on just chat oh well I didn't know I don't have the experience with staff on Twitch but I've spoken to many creators on conversations who have and it's one of the things that gets brought up a lot is that on on Twitch and any other platform that people have streamed on like you can never speak to a real person or get any kind of real support and that was a big big positive when they moved over to kick it's spoken about almost every week yeah it's like a three-month response time over on the uh twitch kick it's 30 3 three minutes yeah even their Big Time creators I see keep getting banned you know through articles like 7-Day bands three days bands and they went on the twitch was all on holiday and this guy couldn't get his band lifted even though it was not in his fault um I mean that speaks levels right versus where I'm here I oh [ __ ] I need something I just message put a support ticket in and boom 10 minutes 15 minutes yeah no M even whether it's a new category to be added I've had them come in and help with some particularly vile trolls whether youed whatever it might be they're there even if you just want to say hi they're so good there yeah good good I'm that makes me really happy to hear we did put a big emphasis on you know I think when I first came in I was just like I didn't like the fact that I couldn't I had to go in as somebody else and talk with them very early on Kick CU we didn't I didn't know the lay of the land space I didn't know what we wanted to do because I'd never done it I went in very early on with the alt account and talked with people right um very early on and then and I started realizing I'm like we need to just be able to talk with these guys we this is all Intel that we need to just be able to go in and say what can we do better how's your day going and look Eddie was all for it Eddie was like look as long as we take keep politics and religion out of it like let's do it right um and like I think that helped the scale like crazy was going into other people's chat with a kick staff badge and just saying how's your day going what can we do better you know um what we need to get better at is the product and everyone knows that right everyone knows that we need Channel points and API and and kicks and all the like and all that is coming but one thing that we did one thing we do know is that all right while that is happening we can step up our game on customer service accessibility we can step up our game on um being transparent so um I think that while our product catches up I think that um we realize will follow yeah everything will follow we realize look Dan Clancy has said one correct thing since I've left that platform is that twitch has a community they have a community and you cannot purchase the community um you know all the big signings that we did that's leasing communities we're essentially leasing communities so when you hear someone like AO fuzz say verified streamers is the lifeblood of kick that's 100% otherwise you're working with creators that can pick up their ball and walk away at any time all right so but on the flip end when you're working with creators that you signed and brought over it's up to you to have make them fall in love with the platform right like I genuinely feel like xqc has fallen in love with kick I genuinely feel like Aiden Ross has fallen in love with kick you know like the idea of Kick the movement of kick same with train wreck right um but however you know we are also looking for homegrown Talent you know to come up and come through the ranks so but listen um that was my one question to you guys about like how do you guys balance like the socialism aspect of kick versus like the capitalistic aspect of rising to the top but um would love to take questions from you guys or just you know dump any Hot Topics that you guys have into this uh Round Table um because that that's what we're here for is to um to get some clips out of this uh and to and to to educate some fol can I quickly answer the one that you asked before yeah a chance to answer I I've got I come from quite a unique spot when it come when it comes to the money the balance and the money in the community side of things because um I do stream fulltime and I full I streamed full time from the beginning but it was because I had to give up my my career and because of health conditions and I

had to find something where I was self-employed and it was flexible around my health um and I tried a few different things and this is this was the one that stuck for me I was streaming as a hobby um on Twitch with my best friend doing a Duo stream before so I knew a little bit about it um so I stream full time but I I'm not like other people who wait until they're making good money before they start streaming full time I started streaming full time making nothing um so my whole content creation life revolves around putting the work into all the different platforms not just kick you know I spend a lot of time working on Tik Tok and YouTube and anywhere where there's a monetization possibility um Kick is home for me everybody knows that I love it here and obviously kcip is another goal for me and verified that would help with that um but it it does put you in a in a difficult spot you know sometimes I struggle to balance where what where I put my my time and energy um uh I'm working towards it so yeah that's just my that's where I'm at real quick to follow up on that because I hear a lot look I appreciate everyone who's like I'm full-time kick I appreciate that and here's the other thing like I there was a time when I left the other platform where I felt a little burned right like damn like you know H how did I last there for so long right what was I doing over there like I don't ever want to look back on that ever right but I think what you have to realize is that we're in a very different time there's no better time to be a streamer you have so many different options guys you have so many different ways to earn a revenue stream right whether it's a Tik Tok Revenue stream a YouTube shs Revenue stream just simply posting images to Instagram Revenue stream you know uh and that's tough to do right like to download your VOD and start making short form content long form content um to start to do like Graphics to do all the work to make just to [ __ ] just to even make a thumbnail right to make a catchy thumbnail to think of a a catchy headline to drop on this thumbnail the whole nine yards that is work right so like my point in saying all this and what your comment was about do you know am I on Tik Tok am I on Instagram what do I do you have like if you're streaming for six hours a day you have to stream for only three and the other three you have to produce your content all right is like anybody can be a streamer pretty much but you have to put in the work you got but here's my point about the money and the revenue streams is that our aim is that kick is the best place to make your Revenue splits um whether okay let's say I'm not okay look I'm not on kcip all right yeah but while you're on Tik Tok or while you're on Twitch YouTube like don't have like tell be honest with your community like I'm simoc casting right now but please come to my kick where I get 95% all right keep simoc casting keep grinding but just realize that Revenue stream is bigger on Kick right while you're pulling in your audience elsewhere and then as you grow your community then you start to adapt where you're moving your chest pieces same thing with Tik Tok right like same thing with X like if you clip and you post a x and you get a small Revenue stream off of that right um and then when you get into kcip it's the same game right where you're like I got to up my metrics right but communicating across the board on all the platforms that you're use is important now getting back to like feeling one way or another about another platform you have to start looking at them as a tool right you have to in my opinion gosh I don't want to fire up my Twitch account I cannot stand those people they freaking let a good one go and F those people right but here's the deal you might have a pool of people like and pull over like two or three people a week to your kick Channel where they're like oh [ __ ] I forgot about Good Vibes Greg where he been right and you're like I'm here but I'm cooking over here guys come on over right and just every now and then just pop in say hey right um and that goes for all of your social media handles because they can all turn into a revenue stream but kick is what's going to differentiate kick in my opinion is uh a community staff service all that stuff but I think it's the revenue splits the way that we do the revenue splits and the way you work up into earning your way up into like making kick your exclusive platform but in the meantime use all the revenue streams to your to your benefit if that makes sense yeah so when I multistream when I live stream to Tik Tok and to YouTube

well um that the live streaming side of it for me is all about funneling people over to kick and the Tik Tok side of that's gone really well for me a good chunk of my community now have come from Tik Tok and they've also they downloaded Kick through my Tik Tok and they now I see them in other people's communities modding for other people and I love the aspect of it it's it's the posting content um on those platforms that that I do to and one more comment around what you just said about Tik Tok you Tik Tok is on the ropes right in the states if you don't think that YouTube isn't slinging their algorithm around for you guys it is right is I've already noticed it if you're sleeping on YouTube shorts right you got to get on YouTube shorts because the exposure right now and like they're they see Tik Tok on the ropes if they see lazy panda fire up on YouTube and they see that she has a Tik Tok account guess what they're going to be doing slinging lazy Panda around to so that to retain her viewers and bring them over from Tik Tok and then on the flip side you're driving traffic to kick right like it's like understanding that market that balance right also and just saying you know what I can't stand you two but their algorithms off the chart because of what's going on with Tik Tok right now not myself yeah no kidding speaking on like the content making um you always want to post it to every platform you can even as a like a small non you know not wellestablished streamer um putting your content on anything that you can put on even if it's just a clip of saying hey come check out me out live on Kick it's going to help you out in the long run um I've kind of fallen off on that haven't you know teach what I Don't Preach you know what I mean I've fallen off on post of that stuff but anything you can really post on does help and not calling out is content I she needs to start posting her stuff yes anything and everything is content even like this the simplest Clips you have post it post it% be gaming posting just post anything that your committee and it'll just reach out just show who you are as a person and they can see like it just post anything I think that's important what you just said though because I think that a lot of people hold back on putting themselves out there right because they feel awkward about it or they're like this is cringe this isn't what I think it's going to be and here's the thing is nine times out of 10 it ain't going to be what you think it's going to be but what's important is that you get the butterflies out right like you get you your first 20 posts are going to be so like nerve-wracking and cringe and like weird and whatever else but like once you start putting yourself out and you start seeing the response that you're getting like you need to adapt I think where a lot of streamers fall is when they don't get the response that they want and they start getting resentful angry I used to be like that they get start getting really resentful and they're like wait I think this is brilliant the best thing since s bread and it's like it is but you got to just listen to the comments no matter how hard they are to take or how many people you think are trolling you and you just have to be self-reflective keep putting yourself out there and adapting but do not fall into resentful land because then you start getting people who are um calling each other out well why is this person doing it and I can't get away with it and then this and that and then you start calling out the platform like favoritism and it's the algorithm and you don't want to push me and you have a conspiracy thing against me and all of a sudden you're a 20 viewer CC TV person who thinks that uh Tik Tok is U putting all their staff might against you which is wild like you're on their radar which is wild right and you're wasting your time in your resentment and then on the flip side sometimes you have communities who are gassing these people up who are like yeah they hate you they can't stand you they like justice for soand so right and it's like what had just happened like what kind of echo chamber did you just create for yourself right so I think that I think that's the important part is when you're creating content out there and it's not hitting the way that you want that you got to present you got to prevent yourself from going into resentment mode that's how I was I used to hold back a lot like I was like maybe if I show myself too much they'll be like maybe she's too hyper for us I was like you know what [ __ ] it I'm just going to do show who I am and right if they don't like it they can just unfollow and leave like go find someone else and there's a way to go about it sweets as well that's not um

it's not to say you have to be have to speak in a certain way and I get freedom of speech and all that other stuff um and freedom of speech does come with consequences depending on what you say or does come with reactions um however there is a way to self- advocate for yourself uh for the platform in a way that is solution focused offer suggestion and it's not just a straight up bash session or uh one of the things that I can't stand is often we pull other people's information where it's like oh well this person's doing this and why don't I have this and it's like well why instead of worrying about what the [ __ ] somebody else is doing why don't we just worry about what you're doing and trying to promote that like who cares what other people have going unless it's you know something that's put in the actual community in danger or somebody's being insane or something like that there only so much that you can control so I get people want to have their I want to out people and I want to be of the I call them witch Hunters or whatever you want be and I get it um but eventually you run out of content like that as well when you put all the to the flame and everybody's on fire and everybody still enjoying that community and having a good time with them you know what do you have left uh so I really do think that um as a whole yes there is a it's not to say that you know especially a lot of Partners oh we're all sheep oh we all everybody had to suck dick to get to this position and all this good stuff I'm sorry I'm not that filtered and I'm not that Co with my words all the time but um are a lot of great people in this space that really are grinding really are uh have worked and put in time for the things that they do have um so to try to discredit those people just because you're having a personal Vendetta or problem is crazy to me and a lot of times we see people who had nothing to say as long as things were good with them personally um and they were happy and they were doing the numbers they wanted to do and life was just their perfect bubble they didn't have [ __ ] to say um but once things start to now Veer left did not go your way now you have a lot of things to say and to me that's not being Community focused forward that's being you forward um and one thing that we've always tried to do and I think that my character can attest to this just by even the people that are here alongside with me today I feel like it's attestment on my characters to the platforms and to everybody else here um is that we are Community focused and we do try to include other people has not always just been oh I want to come up and I want to do this it's okay I see me kind of grinding and doing things that I can't do without people so how do we continue to build together and grow together so even when I am good and my platform is good and my community is solid when people come to me and they say well hey why is so and so getting um partner and they only got 12 CCV and all that i' be like you know what H that might be a that might be something to address let's ask let's talk about let's have discussion um so I'm never content in my um my own bubble I'm always trying to listen to what people are saying and try to offer Solutions so I think we could all try to do that maybe yeah all about education M look I keep my expectations low so that I don't get disappointed why I'm so happy my life same here I if you accept so much from everybody you're going to be disappointed the rest of your life that's how I see it there you go like you start stream if you have one person [ __ ] think you have like 10 people in stream just talk don't just sit there quietly cuz I did that before I talked to five people on my twitch stream like it sucks but I'm uploadable video I think uh of of the intro video right I think everyone should have an intro video for when your account is dormant that you have a reel that introduces who you are oh like uh the trailer like on Twitch right yeah exactly I think that is needed one other point that I will make around uploadable stuff I don't I don't think we're going to go in the direction of full-on uploaded vods however I do think that the clipping culture is the new thing I do think that if you create a clip that you've put a lot of effort into and you're sharing it I do think that should be uploadable and that way shared across kick and shared across social media I think that there should be some sort of linking to when you post it to Tik Tok or post it to Twitter to drive traffic I think that that's the new thing I think I understand like and I think that answers our question of like housing all these vods where you're already housing them on YouTube let's house clips that generate the same amount of traffic exposure right but I also think that there's should be a way I don't like our clip system right now which is just like the clip with the highest views gets it like I think those should be voted on you know that that's my opinion uh would there ever be a case where you'd actually have Clips where it's like home browse and following would like actually could a clip Page live there so you could more front page yeah into the front page plat yeah I want that and I think we should just because here's the thing like the oh grandpa went away that thing's got hot that takes commitment um right so I think okay to a bigger Nuance to that question around clipping is that and I learned this through kick Clips like the last episode um who was educating us on clipping he says that kick has a much bigger clipping culture than any other platform that you know if you look at the neon Clips or the Aiden Clips or the ice Poseidon Clips or the Sam Clips or the ABS clip or the alib Boba Clips or the big eclips or the whatever like streamers are becoming more Savvy and saying I got to get a clip channel right I got to start pushing that according to kick Clips he says that is very unique to kick because I asked him I was like what's the clipping culture on Twitch Tik Tok what's the clipping he goes it's not at the level of Storytelling that it is on Kick so I think in my opinion I think that we need to take advantage of that culture so I my focus would be more on Clips rather than vods yeah we just want to be able to download our vods too I think in an easier way would man like right now what you don't like to go to JJ downloader and using that never I've never done it I let my little VOD go off and but then I look back and I'm like dang I should have kept my VOD from my gender reveal I could dream hack but I just I've never I'm not that kind of girl look uh so we got aabs in chat he's saying just use kickl it it's easy so like look there are downloadable options where kick kickl you can use I know like stream charts has a thing where you can just take your link and drop it in and it downloads um there are platforms out there that you just take your link whether it's a clip or a VOD and you just download it right I think it's important that you download your MPV or your MP4 or your MO and just keep it in the folder until you can do something with it because you're right once the 30 days is up it's gone right yeah all right what else you guys got I know we got I know I know y all got deeper questions I know you got get give us some hard-hitting like [ __ ] well I have a few different questions from people in chat but I wanted other people to have the opportunity to oh yeah for sure speak my chat's being shy so they I brought the mask out and they're like yeah full send it but no that's scary well I I'll pose one real quick from um from Dr beast mode who was in my chat and I'm yes if y'all are asking the questions I'm letting them know who they're from just where but Dr beast mode he actually had uh two questions but I want to start with his first one that I think a lot of people have uh some feedback for this uh do you believe and this can be for Santa this could really be for everybody uh do you believe the CCV metrics for verification should be a requirement metric it's been the most

controversial especially when meeting all other metrics for almost the entire time on the platform what are your thoughts overall and I think this stems from people that do get verified possibly without hitting that metric or maybe having been holding on to that one as long because if we are if we say for example I'm partially answering the question as well just from my own perspective but just if you're having certain people that do have lower than the required CCV still getting verified and possibly still getting kcip um and it's inclusive and it represents different type of people because if it's somebody that's just good for the brand or they're doing their big one or whatever the case may be and kick want to have them then um but I guess how much weight are we going to give to that because that's always people are sometimes scared to even come out and say they got kcip cuz then people go dig through their metrics oh my God she was only averaging 34 CCB how dare they but I'm doing a hundred like whatever the case may be so you know what can we do to make it more fair across the board when it comes to the CCV metric and people getting verified what do y'all think so with that like are you guys still going to do with the hosting will it be implemented or not with the verification like that's one that I'm still in the fence about cuz we get hosted a lot so I don't know how that's going to play out on that one all right so this is what I can say Okay um okay yes eventually that's going to go away that hosting is not going to affect like we're going to take hosting into account that has already been approved by the big dog right that's dogs um now is a matter of our middle management um starting to readjust that metric when they start bringing people in because look it ain't same thing with the hours too like we put so many hours and like our numbers don't go up with the viewer count all that's that's totally different like that's listen if you're getting hosted like I think that should be counted 100% yes the higher ups feel that should be counted now the hours not really but no let me tell you why cuz that's just mismanagement of your time look if you're doing 10 hours a day and you're doing 20 CCV stop stop and you're trying to build to something else like if you don't care then who cares yeah yeah but if you look if you're the type of streamer you're like I don't look at the numbers I don't care I'm here to Vibe with my community fine but if you're trying to grind to something right because this is business now we're talking about business this is what I'm my original com which was capitalism versus Community okay so now we're talking about Community where it's just like I want a Vibe I don't care if I got 20 CCV but [ __ ] why can't I get verification now we've crossed over into business capitalism so there's a very different answer to this all right if you were grinding for 10 hours a day at 20 CCV stop all right what you got to do is you have to stream for two hours sit and think about what the [ __ ] you just did for an hour and why you're not growing and then formulate a game plan the next hour and then the next three hours you need to start executing that's what you needed to start doing with the 10 hours of your day all right the other thing you also need to do is say all right I'm going to grind when I hit 20 CCV if I hit 30 CCV I'm cutting it off as painful as that is and I'm leaving people wanting more right and then I'm firing up again right and I'm only to gr I'm only going to stream for another two hours right but I'm going to keep working my average up and up and up because the more hours that you have going against your CCV that lowers your average right so if you're doing 20 CCV over 10 hours your average is only going to stay at 20 right but if you're doing two hours and you hit 30 CCV for a good 30 minutes of that time and you kill it then you only have two hours going into your 30 CCV maximizing and upping your your CCV all right this is what I'm talking about the difference between capitalism right getting the check mark getting the kcip hitting your metrics versus Community you know what I'm just here to VI I'm here to play COD I here to have a good time and here to get in a bikini and smoke some joints that's all

I want to do man right well if that's what you want to do and then you want to start bitching about verification you have to put on your business hat I'm sorry you do right because at the end of the day you're going to start getting paid let me tell you another thing there's going to come a point even with kcip people where they don't give a [ __ ] about subs and kcip because the real money they're bringing in is off of sponsorships all right that's a Next Level thing guys you will literally have people who will not leave platforms because it will their CCV will take a hit right well and they're comfortable too they don't want to get out of that bubble it's like so it ain't about the kcip and 955 split what it is is that they have to have they have to show a certain number of CCV to their gfuel to their elato to their carart uh fashion brand to their uh their gamer Advantage people the people who are giving them $770,000 a year to stream with their product and to upload a Tik Tok or upload or VOD and that's next level right so like when you're talking with some streamers like they just want a contract if you're going to make the move that covers their their sponsorship they they we ain't talking 9955 or kcip they're talking they're talking my sponsorship is going to start taking a hit right so that's my point is like where are you in your journey how are you taking care of your business and how are you really self-reflecting on things like I used to stream full-time Monday through Sunday and that hurt me the most streaming every single day but I'm like you know what let me split up my days and not stream every day let me stream with only my community on certain nights and I'll stream oh look let me do Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays maybe that will work or I just choose different days Wednesdays Fridays and Saturdays that's the only time you guys can see me on stream and it helps not streaming Sun Monday through Sunday 10 hour days I don't even stream 10 hour days only on the weekends I do like maybe five six just to have fun with everybody else but on Wednesdays I cut mine short for four hours then I'm going to bed that's it I can't do no 10 20 hours I'm it's not going to go nowhere I don't think it's for me so I think the big thing too on the uh on the streams is uh how you how are you activating your community and having those like very transparent conversations you know I was very more viby until uh last year around like um February March and I was using Tik Tok to kind of move people over here to kick and promoting rocket league and letting people know hey guys I'm going to be doing this really big thing I really want you guys to support when I do this like uncap subathon and keep going and that's how I was able to get approved through kcip and just constantly activating your community showing your community like show your community on the kick side and really encourage people to move on over because that that's where you want to be I want to be part of that guy's Community or Lauren's Community or lazy's Community you know things like that so can I ask Andrew a quick question about the what you said about the hosts and front page features and things not counting towards the CCV so at the moment for verified the numbers from hosts and front page don't count towards your CCV is that right yeah they should not be um so do they show on that little thing at the moment those numbers don't show on your achievements page or how does that so that's that's two different things and you're giv you're giving us a lot of credit um so the hosting still shows up on the metrics right it's on the back end where we look at it right and we're like oh okay this person got hosted five times this month we're GNA remove these actually you're not like you've hit these metrics because of the hosting you get what I'm saying so um but right now on the back end we're going to look at it and be like all right this person hit the metrics they got five hosts but who cares the host happened right the host are the host thing is authentic right then let me also be very clear there's a difference between tabbing follow for follow and hosts and we see those so don't be like I know what happens what happens is like oh I got hosted five times I actually know you didn't you're just you know you have 10 people who have 50 windows open like you know that's not a it's not a host it doesn't work that way if it's very genuine you know what I'm say but I was curious if it does work that way yeah yeah so um look what I will say is that I don't know if

it's been across our entire staff right now what I say is that the H it's been like as soon as I brought it up it's been addressed and it's been said yes this does not make sense it's something that we need to change now it's just about implementing it with our staff with our kcip and verified staff uh members do you Andre do you personally think that it should be that 7 CCV for verified and 100 for kcip should be absolute minimum for someone to be considered for verified or do you think that Community engagement and and the actual content that's being put out should be considered look we're almost there you know what I'm saying look what what I will say is something that Good Vibes Greg had mentioned is that kick just makes better streamers because of the things that we don't have right all of the bells and whistles um it goes so far I think people really rely on gosh if I just had Channel points my community would show up maybe not maybe I don't know you know gosh if I just could use the Snapchat filter uh then the community really come rolling in I don't know maybe not like you know gosh if I just had like bits well why you know just put a patreon link you know drop a like people there's other to get around not to say that kick should not be doing these things let me first say that um my point in saying all this about around kcip and whether the metrics and all that stuff matter me and Eddie have been on record saying that we want to get rid of the metrics we have talked about that on Kick talks we want I want to go after people who are producing great content that's it right now the argument around that is like okay great you're going to put someone on kcip and they're going to be making a buck 50 an hour because they only have 30 CCV but you see something in them you see that they're grinding and they're doing it right isn't that more demoralizing in giving them to I don't know and this goes back to the business side I will say that 40% of the people that came through in phase one two and three viewed casy IP in two ways and I might get a lot of static for this right but I can say this in a lot of confidence looking back the people who saw it as there's I made it and I can sit on my hands yeah I made it I put out my video I got signed to kick done the other people who saw it as an opportunity and this is a starting point and now the work starts those are the people who've gone on and done big things they've gotten other sponsorship deals maybe they don't even need kcip anymore because they're starting to leverage other things I would say 40% of our phase Partners did that right so my point in answering your question we're talking about metrics and stuff like that are you the type of streamer that does 30 CCV and if you get into kcip do you look at it as $2 an hour or $200 an hour today it's $2 an hour tomorrow it's $200 an hour right there is no cap to the rate in Cas IP hours you legit if you put it in the work could be making $200 an hour and streaming 12 hours a day and making that rate streaming five days a week 10 hours a day 50 hours a week at $200 there's no cap to the hours rate like that's things that people don't think about what they do is they say [ __ ] I'm only making $2 an hour look at the [ __ ] rate that kick is giving me and it's kind of like well first of all you're claiming that you're getting 500 ccvs you're clearly botting and we're only paying you on the 30 CCV that you got right that's why you're making $2 an hour what you really need to be focused on is closing your Bot account rolling up your sleeves and start putting in the work and your $2 an hour will turn into $4 an hour we'll turn into $6 an hour turn into $20 an look our Spanish Community gets it they get it and that's why we've exponentially grown like crazy in Latin America I think there was a crazy tweet out there where two streamers streamed

for a month on Twitch and another one streamed on Kick and they compared their ad sales rate before their kcip rate 14 times more off of their kcip than their ads all right now there's a lot of things that can go into that maybe twitch isn't pushing as much ad Revenue into Latin America as they should be there's exchange rates there's things of that nature blah blah blah but my point is that the Latin American audience doesn't when the kid gets when the Willy Wonka kid gets the golden ticket they don't he doesn't see a piece of tinf foil in his hand he sees going to [ __ ] Wonka land and [ __ ] killing it right so do you see a piece of tinfoil in your hand or do you do you see potential and that's the difference in streamers all right now to answer your question I believe that everything should go towards content I think that you should be as a Creator say you know what I got what it takes and I'm going to apply for it uh tell them why I think I should be on kcip and I'm going to give them a real up on me and who I am right and I'm going to apply right and then we respond and we say kid you ain't there yet right you just ain't there yet right or I also think that we should Scout I think we should say hey good vibes Greg really great energy hey sugar bears thanks for coming out to dream hack and like spending your time there and getting to know the community that means a lot to us right hey AO thank you for like you know helping lauring Shay out with KC you know with KCA and doing your thing right lazy Panda ain't no one asking you throw up a podcast and having it specifically on Kick thank you for doing that thank you for growing our community we see we see the benefit in this we see the Merit in it look we know that you're only doing 30 CCV but we would be honored to have you on kcip would you be interested right like I think that there we should be scouting and and bringing in people and rewarding people and doing that and then I also think that people think who and I record that and take it as an offer yeah right I hear you the issu Run is that now you're picking and choosing that's now the ISS you're exactly that's why we have to have an application process too right and that's why the metrics also come in right I will say from a business standpoint I do think the metrics are very very important I do um I think that a CCV does stand for something because it's industry standard right it is across the board I do think that there is from a business perspective needs to be a balancing out of this person's making really good content versus they're only doing 20 CCV what are we missing I think that that's the real question like what how can we get this 20 CCV streamer up to 200 CCV and is that the platform's responsibility right is that is that twitch's Tik Tok YouTube shorts kicks responsibility I don't know now to give you because I feel like I'm not answering the question I feel that um and this again this is just my opinion this is not Eddie this is not kick this is not anything these are things that we internally have discussions on and this is what gets bounced around is that I think that content should be there should be a higher value on content if it was up to me I would get rid of the metrics and I would only look at the metrics internally right and I would only I would say like lazy Panda audition she she put in for kcip she feels that she should be on kcip um and we look at the metrics and we say lazy Panda we really like what you're doing but you're only at 30 CCV you need to keep grinding hit us back up in 30 days you got us on your radar let's see where you're at with 30 days and let's see what the work you put in let's let's start there right um as opposed to Lazy Panda hitting her head up against a brick wall not knowing what she's not do doing right to get to 100 CCV 75 CCV I think that there could be a little bit more dialogue and back and forth in this model if we just look at content but still weigh it out on a business perspective around metrics all right do we feel that this is someone who can get to 75 100 because at the end of the day watch hours and viewership is still very important to a platform because that's what they used to sell off to advertisers right honestly right um and

year and a half or maybe because your YouTube shorts isn't like cooking the way you think it like I don't know where are you getting this traffic from you know like your your resume doesn't match up it's the same thing it look at it like a business right like if I go and I apply for a job and I say that I've worked here here and they go and check it out and they're like no you didn't like what experience do you have you know like where are you getting this business lot knowledge exactly like you say that you went you know you went to yes you went to XY University but when we call them up you only went there for two semesters you didn't finish it you know like uh you know so it's the same thing here it's kind of like um what like no like there there's something that's off here right there's something that and if you hit it again awesome then we'll accept you in right it's this listen they do the same thing on every other platform they're kind of like I can't tell you how many times on other platforms they're just kind of like all right they hit a home run once can they step into the batter's B batter's box and can they do it again oh they did it all right let's bring them in they're ready they're game tested they're ready to go right sh sorry because here's the flip side on everything and this is something that a lot of people don't think about there are resources that go into bringing you in when you become a verified streamer all of a sudden you get 247 chat support right when you come into kcip guess what there's an accountant looking at your stuff there's a whole different staff looking at your content like there are resources that go into bringing people in even if you're verified hell even when you make your sub button when you hit affiliate and you get your sub button you don't think we have strip people that you get on their radar right you don't think that Apple and Google have to go and improve your subscription bubble U uh button for mobile like there are resources that H it isn't just like poof this magically happens and you're into this thing that that that's cooking there are resources that go into play when we bring in people on kcip and verified at scale so I hope I've answered that question like uh the email is very direct there isn't there is not much to it there isn't uh 500 options pick one which one am I doing I'm really lost in this whole thing right um and I would say maybe 10% of people who apply for verifi or kcip honestly do not know what the [ __ ] is going on mhm right I would say 90% are grown ass people who know what's happening and would rather try to go the route of social justice and taking to because then that becomes their content that's the [ __ ] up part is like oh I noticed that every time that I say that I've been denied for verification I get a spike in my social media traffic right and that becomes their content wo is me what that wo is me and then what happens is that all the other wo is me people become your audience and that's wild to watch also uh I do have a question um and obviously I know you're not part of the kcip team I don't know who is but obviously it slips through the cracks and there are streamers um who say they may have a community um but they don't um and I'm talking more like the follow for follow tab for tab U I'm not going to name like any specific streamers but I think you know there's cultures out there and you know the culture that I like is you know having an engaging authentic Community versus the community that they say that there's a community are is there G to be like kcip reviews for like all members or how would that and I'm not saying a Witch Hunt or anything like that but I think there are streamers out there who have not hit those metrics at see those streamers get hit and it's not a wo as me it's just there's an interesting system in place you know people slip through the cracks and they get approved and and things like that is there going to be maybe like a review system down the line or things of that nature okay so what is the what's the Consolidated question so is will there be a review process for all kcip streamers because yes okay yes 100% so you guys saw that with verified streamers maybe two or three months ago I think there was like 300 accounts that Lord hell there might have

even been more right I think there was like I think it was three thou was it in the thousands um it was a lot and I got some mixed feedback as well yeah so like dormant accounts um people who just were like you know harassing others you know more so dormant accounts it was really was um that got their verification removed the same thing is going to happen with kcip and here's the other thing it's already happening right it's already there are people who get de demonetized off kcip um but they don't go out and they don't tell people right and we don't make that public like we don't have like a streamer bands where it goes hey so and so just got banned off a kick we don't have this thing that says hey soand so um um so and so just got demonetized off kcip like we don't announce that right but people do get removed off of kcip on the daily basis will there be a massive audit yes there it will be another there will be a massive audit but let me make this clear like it's to our benefit not to pay out people who are doing XYZ things or inflating their views or doing whatever here's the other thing like just because someone some's on kcip and they look like they're they got 20,000 viewers doesn't mean they're getting paid off of 20,000 viewers right like we're not like there you there you know this system we're not that obtuse to ourselves where we're just going to pay that out like that's not that's not sustainable yeah it's not I think that people start to worry about the platform's business as goes to the platform just worrying about their business right like why is this person on kcip when they're like you know well they might still be hitting the metrics assault but are we paying them out on this inorganic no we're not and then like here's the other thing and Eddie has talked about it also like it's hard to call out someone on botting because like they could be like I'm being botted like oh I've been streaming for x amount of years you pick up a lot of enemies and people just bought you on a daily basis you know or it's not me you know um but what I can tell you is that like yeah we have a system where it adjusts those payouts right so don't think that there aren't people out there that are like 800 CCV who are getting paid for half of that and then don't say anything you know like Eddie and Bon are where aren't where they're at because like they get taken for a ride does that make sense um but to that point yes there is going to be a massive kcip audit um that that H will happen but it happens on it happens on the daily but there's the there's going to be other metrics in place kind of like what we did with verification where we just go through and just kind of clean house you know TI tidy things up yeah and just to give some feedback on the verification I'm off for Casp come review my whatever y'all want to do um but the verification one it really I know it hurts some people and I just call out specifically I don't want to name names but I'mma name Golden Boy briyan because I see him in your chat um who was a verified uh streamer and I think I feel was a straight bullet kind of in all that because they were a person that was still active still making content and been on the front page I'm not going to I don't know why all the business was and the why of it all but there were a few people where it's like well maybe somebody had a surgery and they needed a couple months or so off or maybe somebody was having a mental health issue my father passed away as soon as I got partnered pretty much and I probably needed three or four months off um but life had to keep on lifing and I trying to figure out kick and like that's what my mindset was um and I don't feel like some of the people should have been just what's the word like just rip off taking away for maybe needing space on certain things so I do hope there will be a time when maybe those people can revisit and be like hey I was out because I had a surgery I was because of this or me like whatever the case maybe and then some people genuinely just left and maybe they left and they're gone but I did have I did have some issues with that because even as a and I hate to bring up the purple platform sometimes in comparison but even on that platform I don't think and I could be totally you would know more about this than I would Santa but um it seems as if you get partnered you get to keep that check mark even if you take six seven months

seven years off I don't really know um but I think as a newer platform yes the people that was that were genuinely found out to be doing some shady stuff or maybe completely inactive for a year or something like that maybe then um the stripping is what I would call that the stripping of the check marks um but I think that that too is something needs to go back and be Revisited for some people that I think caught some Strays in that never going to get it perfect but that's just my feedback all right so here's the deal yes I think you're never going to get it perfect ever ever never ever ever in live streaming are you going to get it perfect um as far as like I know you brought up Golden Boy Bryan I have had a lot of conversations with Golden Boy Bryan um do I think he makes good content for sure is he the type of person that if he auditioned and he's putting out good content 100% um but there's also a flip side and I don't want to pick on Golden Boy Bryan I'm not picking on him I'm just saying across the board what are we doing with the content why what is the why you know if BBJ sees something in him if you see kick staff sees something in him there's something going on right now I would love to sit down with all five 3,000 creators on the platform and figure out exactly what it is that's going on with your content but you can't it's not scalable and I'm not saying that Golden Boy Bryan is going into this Arena but one thing I know for sure is the pikme attitude and the why not me attitude because it's just going to be the next thing why not me verified Why Not Me kcip Why Not Me sponsored Why Not Me Why Not Me and it's going to keep happening right and again I'm not saying Golden Boy Bryan's doing that what I'm saying is that in any industry whether it's the NBA and I'm playing D-League basketball and I'm watching LeBron go off and I say why not me it's like sometimes it's just comes down to genetics man you know sometimes it comes down to what is it that you're meant to be doing right and again I'm not putting Golden Boy Bryant in this like there's so many things that go into any industry listen man I played soccer for a very long time there was a point in time where I thought I was going to be playing professional soccer for a very long time and I played soccer and I could not I was not a starter I wasn't a [ __ ] starter and I was getting paid peanuts guess what I had to do I had to realize that I'm not [ __ ] messy right but what what didn't I do I didn't run on the field and tackle a starter right and say that this guy is garbage and he shouldn't be he shouldn't be starting in front of me right I didn't I didn't go up to my coach and say hey you're a piece of [ __ ] for overlooking me you know like what you do is you go to another team and see if you can't make it and there then guess what you have to start like self-reflecting all right my point is that there is no NBA player there is no CEO there is no accountant there is no um uh anyone in any profession who's doing it at a very high level who made it by saying why not me or pick me ever ever ever ever ever there are people who have humility and say I never thought that this would happen in my life but when you look back at their resume you realize the work that they put in or you realize the talent that they have so you either put work in to get to where you're at or you just have Charisma and you just have it and that's a very small percentage of people right that can just turn on the camera and [ __ ] it lights up right yeah it's a very small perc but it exists it's out there right so Lauren I hope I answered your question in this like I agree with content Golden Boy Bryan would probably be a really good example of someone who if they audition with their body of work yes but what I'm also saying is there's something else there so

you know grinding and doing what they want to do this is where we're building it so that's the reason why we want to advocate for ourselves sometimes we don't do that we don't advocate for ourselves like we should and that's something I think people really need to understand um you need to be your biggest Advocate not the platform doesn't you need to be your biggest Advocate and really not be afraid to reach out to staff hey look I have this idea I reached out to Santa Maria hey I have this idea for the streamer Awards thing I'm going to do it's something I want to do hey let me know if you want to if you guys think this a cool idea C can I do this or reach out to staff hey staff can I do this be your biggest Advocate because nobody is going to do it but you um and I do understand the other side of a larger stream you know being like I want tooc for being on the front page I get it but as a bigger streamer you were a smaller streamer first you didn't just start off with a th000 CCV and xqc levels you started out with one or two people in your chat we all yeah we all started from the bottom so I think some of the people that are higher up in those things kind of let's step it back a little bit and put yourself in the shoes when you originally were there um we're all here to have fun to grind and make this something big why don't we take that mentality instead of having a oh they're doing this now the front page no you should be like hey yo that's a new streamer on there go check him out why not do that's my perspective of it I could be completely freaking in Lulu land but that's my perspective of what we should do as a streaming Community period That's how I think that's how it should be like finding new people even joining events that they create engaging with other streamers because like you said you can't put yourself out there unless you try to we can't bring communities together if you don't want to put the effort in it you know what I'm saying like we can only do so much to help people grow if they don't want to grow within themselves they just want to be stuck in a bubble and they're comfortable with it that's fine but it's you can't be closed-minded in this industry cuz then it's not going to work out that way that's how I feel yeah I think it's also just down to culture right kick is so new it's been two years um you know we have so many perceptions of streaming whether you just got into kick and you're very new and you see things are working and you kind of do that so it's like Monkey C Monkey Do there's a lot of people who are doing it the bad way and a lot of people doing the authentic way right and so now we're coming down to like a culture issue um well you know you answered my question not too earlier there's going to Beck and balances right the kcip review that's really good to hear you know so you should you know have faith in the platform itself and just trust the process as the creator of who you are and what you're producing um and just being consistent I have had a lot of times on Twitch and kick where I think about it I say wow wo is me but I can't like be like that because I got to keep pushing and going right so it and my time did come up and my community supported me and and engaged in there was a lot of Victories um and I'm very blessed on that but I think it comes down to go ahead what does it come down to uh it comes down to just culture right like it's two years new streamers are now coming on the platform and again it's a lot of Monkey C monkeyd on seeing certain ways to en enhance dude you nailed it on the head and it's why Dan clany is very right when he says twitch has the culture yeah right very early on he was asked about kick very early on I think he was doing a travel across Spain European thing and he was on with a streamer and he said that and that was like the first thing that he said about kick and I totally agree with him 100% you cannot buy culture all right so like when you talk about Monkey C Monkey do it's like you have so many streamers on that platform who have taught other streamers who have been a road map for these folks right now it's going to take time for kick to develop its own culture and have its own road map system and you're seeing growth in that right you're seeing a lot of growth in that I can't tell you how many and I talked about kcip Phase 1 2 and three the 40% of the people that I'm talking about and Lauren Shay is one of them who have this amazing story arc from where they started to where they are now right like that no serious like that

thing I did do a I wanted to do a series for like a siping paint thing I didn't get an email back I was like you okay so for Sip and paint so you know and I'm just trying to go through the minds of our devs or in our support is if you did want to do Sip and paint like a streer one yeah why wouldn't the art category be good for you get what I'm saying oh yeah yep you know so they might look at it and be like just go in art category you know yeah um and you know go for it like D and D let's um let me see I believe there is a Dungeons and Dragons category let me just bring it up dungeons Dungeons and but if you wanted like live tournaments or live gaming DIY dungeons it's like a live yeah live stuff yeah and okay dungeon DND d and yeah there's no result for D and D if I remember correctly dungeons live yeah so you know look we do have uh Dungeons and Dragons categories and things that nature we don't have a live category and I think that that's what you're saying there's Nuance to it right yeah there's Nuance to the categories so okay so we ran into this with Pokemon right it was there's two thoughts on this right is that there are 20 different games of Pokemon right and so everyone wants 20 different categories of Pokemon right but then you have other people who are saying why are you splitting up the Pokemon category community right like why are you having you know 20 viewers in each 20 different categories why not have 400 viewers in one Pokemon category right so we get two different conflicting things right so like it's the same thing with Dungeons and Dragons like there's a lot of different ways that you can do Dungeons and Dragons why don't you have a Dungeons and Dragons cosplay why don't have you have dungeons Dragon tabletop why don't you have dungeons dragons like whatever video game iteration there is why don't you have Dungeons and Dragons live right so do we split up the community or do we bring them all together under one Dungeons and Dragons I kind of had a question that fits into this as well because talking about categories because OB say I'm a horror streamer um and I've spoken before about a horror category but I feel kind of the same with horror there are literally thousands of horror games out there when you take into consideration indie horror games and things and you know I always I don't know if a horror category would work but um is there a plan to have tags always such a good idea because I want people to know the name of the indie horror game I'm playing but I can't find other horror streamers tags would answer tags would settle this whole thing and Paulie that is on Paulie's radar okay that tags right so and kicks so yes 100% I think tags would solve the whole thing so it doesn't matter what you're typing in you're going to find it all right um so I think it's just a matter of where we are and our growth process right so I see a lot of people who are saying like there's no gaming category you're not going to put Cod and Marvel Rivals and Halo and all these things under the gaming category 100% I think it's just a level of like where are we at kick with dungeons and Dragons I don't think we're there yet to split I think you're stronger United as opposed to split up that's just my opinion same thing with the art category I think you're stronger United I don't think there needs to be a Paint and Sip category versus an art category right I think that if if Sweet Cakes brings in her community to in the art category it makes the art category that much stronger you know it elevates sense however if all of a sudden the art sipping category has 200,000 followers and 40,000 people watching at given time guess what we're doing we're cre we're splitting it up we're creating the category um it's the same thing that amaranth and Indie Fox did with the pools category all right holy [ __ ] we have all these people in bikinis playing Mario Kart and they're doing it and just chatting and the people and just chatting are absolutely getting livid what are we gon do what are we gonna do we can either ban them all or we're going to create a pools category where all of a sudden these creators have 40 minute plus retention rate and

we're going to utilize that right so it all comes down to business tactics within each category right now the business tactic is we love Dungeons and Dragons has the cause play gotten to the level of other uh places yet we don't think so however if we combine all the Dungeons and Dragons category can we lift all boats right now yes you know does that make sense yeah cool but yeah look what we shouldn't be doing is be giving you a blanket response right hey I think we need an art and sip category thank you for contacting kick and we'll get back to you as soon as possible and we never hear back from you right there should be the idea my respon there should be an email back saying hey look we don't want to divide the categories please stream under the art category we think you'll find more success there right um sugar bears like how long did it take you to get that category up and going or was it pretty instant I literally got an email back that the category was up and running within 24 hours all right that's dope so here's when I went to update to get it to try to get it updated to kind of push it a little bit more for forward I kept getting the same email all right here's the problem you've been on the platform for a very long time all right there was at one point where and I know who probably answered that it was either one or two people it was either Kevin or it was Sergio right who got that category up and going for you there was a time guys where literally could go the into the back end of kick and do whatever the [ __ ] I wanted to do right like if I wanted a WNBA 2K guess what I'm creating it boom there it is great idea send me a thumbnail I'm gonna resize it boom it's there all right what you're talking about now is that what we have to do better is scale our customer service as the platform grows and that's what's happening all right now you have 200 people who is are wearing one hat where as opposed to where you only had six people wearing 500 different hats right does that make sense so the accessibility was much cleaner early on but now what you have is like look man I'm just in the moderation department or I'm in the support department I'll get this over to our devs and right now our Dev department is cooking on points slam doing other things so guess what happens the wnb 2K category might go down on the list or what might happen is that if all of a sudden support gets 200 [ __ ] emails from 200 different creators saying we want an art sip category then that gets on our radar that then that says wait a minute there's high demand for this and now we need to move on it right so it's we have to all right y hear that yall we got to work on that to get me back in we have to scale the co customer service where we give you back a response saying look it's not worth doing it right now because we're going to split that category or you know what that's a good idea let me get this on a dev's plate and let's let's get it going you know clip it J clip it we can send it to yeah now like there is a world where we look at the back end we were like look we can't be answering tickets for every [ __ ] category we can't make a category for every freaking thing you know I agree but I do think we should communicate that say hey look it ain't worth our time to do an art sip just going into the art category you know and then if Sweet Cakes comes back and says look I'm cooking on 40,000 CCV right now in art and sep then it's kind of like oh okay now we're listening you know okay yeah I don't know if you guys do have it um on the community website but is there like a organization chart that you guys have CU I know you've probably switched team to team Santa Maria but is there like an or chart that cuz also I think a lot of people don't realize you guys are corporate so if you haven't worked corporate before you know things fall on the Cracks communication kind of goes away and then it leaves us streamers you know the lack of transparency but you guys are moving a lot of uh moving parts so is there like an org chart that we can ever see there is no public org chart um um I think at this rate an org chart it's just growing massively right um I mean I personally would be all

just went out of this guy doing 20 CCV and it's getting a lot of good traction let's pop them up there right there are algorithms that exist that track highlevel organic traffic in comparison to the amount of people that are watching them and I think that should trigger disc abbility placement will solve a lot I think algorithms are going to solve so much in the interim of an algorithm if we were to do a upand cominging streamer category then it would be up to our 30 people who are on our feature team our feature team the front page gets rotated via our social media team via our partners team and Via our feature team and that comprises about 30 to 50 people who at any given time will pop in and say this person's doing something interesting or look at what this person is doing or check out this person we're all over kick watching it at all times right um and if there's a consensus around oh wow yeah this person is doing something cool because there's checks and balances right what happens is that if a staff member P comes across someone who's doing something really good and we pop them in there and they're like then we might have someone from the moderation team say hey this dude has been flagged nine times in the last month we cannot front page this person because there will be absolute pandemonium and meltdowns right you know there's all kinds of stuff there's a discussion my point is that there's a there's there isn't just one person calling the shots here right there's everyone scouring the internet so if we were to do this kind of category yes you guys would just have to realize that we are curing curating that but the end goal for me would be let's get an algorithm going that recognizes the good behaviors of an upand cominging streamer and let's get that going that's my end goal like that somebody said call it up and kicking up and 8 I like it do you guys plan on dropping the mobile streaming on for us to stream on our phones cuz I know you did I know Crow tested it out when he did the golfing thing do you guys plan on dropping it any time soon or is it still in the works um okay so yes it a it's still in the works all right um we did do it beta testing I remember Panda skills had like a major surgery and he after postsurgery he streamed from his hospital bed mobile oh [ __ ] right okay um so we I think we had like maybe 10 to 15 streamers who had the mobile capability in beta testing so yes it is there it is a feature that's going to be happen happening now that's up to Paul when he releases it it's up to our development team when they releases it um now Paul look looks to his team to say are we ready yet and we're not there yet there's testing that we went under and we're still smoothing it all out but when it does get released yes like we love prism right but there's two schools of thoughts on this right like yeah why are we going to build it when there's prism it's you know well we should build it because of ease of use right oneop shop we should you can just go live you I'm going to the store and po use the phone but here's here are all the things that people don't look at is like just [ __ ] get it out right that's the argument all right however what if we just [ __ ] get it out and our version isn't as good as prism what's going to happen you all just going back to prism right and we spent how long developing it and getting it out there right yeah like it's better to build it beta test see how ass it is refine it pop it back out there because like do we want to take compete against prism no that's not our goal but what we want to do is if we're going to do this let's just try to do it right so that it does become a true One-Stop shop I see Lauren and all you guys smiling what is it would that be for mobile game it's because our chat is like they're asking questions I'm like I don't want to like just cut people off do it cut it off do it there swag says what about for mobile Gamers or is it for prism too mob what do you mean I know I guess mobile cons yeah no like you play mobile games on your phone and they can stream off the phone yeah yeah if you have that like whatever screen you're mirroring or ejecting yeah it'll take I think you can use prism Swag yeah for now I think what this boils down to is that us as consumers we want one place to go to yeah um and

turn it off twice I think I have my alerts in two places so I said oh well [ __ ] it um but while I have the floor I do have one final affiliate question this is affiliate related from Mar Rouser uh I wasn't trying to ask no questions from I I'm just here today and thank you for having me so Mor Rouser uh did have a question for Affiliates and maybe you guys want to chime in as well so the verified people and the partners you have the option to get weekly payouts right now brought to you by Kick streaming any plans to perhaps give the Affiliates that same option to get either weekly or bi-weekly pay in the near future or the far future or yeah I think this uh as far as right now no because this comes down to scaling okay look I'll give you another example like um our moderation team we quietly this past Thursday rolled out that okay so right now we do beforehand when we launch the site we would do our moderation team would give out warnings to VR chat chatting roulette and pools streamers we'd be like hey this is what you're doing can you adjust your content they would adjust it no ban no nothing it would just keep going to scale that to the rest of the platform takes more resources takes more people um because just chatting is a much bigger category than VR chat because gaming is just a much bigger category than Chat Roulette right uh the other thing is that just chatting and chat roulette are I mean just chatting has a lot more Nuance than like let's say pool stream on pool stream you can say hey yo your bikini is crazy too small here's a screenshot please change it okay my bad we're going to do it right but in just chatting it's tough because you're saying like hey this topic that you're talking about is like we're not sure what to make of it like are we missing something like there's a lot more gray in just chatting like you it's not as like black and white in other categories like VR chat or chat roulette right so my point in saying all this is that we need a staff to be able to do back and forth with people when we give a warning right so this past Thursday we have rolled it out to the entire site that we are now doing this for kcip and verified in throughout the entire platform right because it's much more manageable like kcip members while we have a lot of people in kcip I think we have like 2,000 people maybe a little north of that [ __ ] right okay um and then you open that up to verify all right that's even and that's even bigger right now you open that up to Affiliates that's even more bigger right like my point in saying it and I'm G using the analogy of how we're doing the warning system we have to roll this out because we just don't have the staff to monitor it all like right we started off with pools then we added VR chat then we added Chat Roulette now we added kcip now we added verified same thing with the weekly payout right we at first we had inter internal disc discussion we were like [ __ ] we can only do this for kcip we just do not have the manpower to do this for kcip and verified and then we took a deeper look at it and we're like all right we can do it right but we can't do it for the entire platform can we scale and get to that point I think so um but uh there are a lot of things in consideration when you're talking about just all of a sudden opening it up to absolutely everybody right so I'm just giving you some behind the scenes thing of like the resourcing of doing that right so right now it is worth our time to do it for kcip and verified because we have the manpower to do it right so that was that question answered so just not right now perhaps yeah I don't see it any anytime soon let's just say okay let me ask you this would it be worth our time to do it yeah like do you think it would raise a lot of eyebrows across all platforms and people were like hey maybe I should give kick a shot weekly payout I feel like I if I'm not mistaken I'm pretty sure Tik Tok is on a weekly too um yeah well kind of but it's still 50-50 splits so is it really still 50-50 yeah but like Tik Tok you know it be like oh okay well Tik tok's leaving you know where do I where do I go and if I see oh okay well Kick's doing my payouts every week I you know and I

extra 10 15 minutes making sure that you walk away from this call um getting your point across no I think I was quiet in the beginning and I yapped away I pretty I think I you said it I will say this um I was pretty uneasy joining kick cuz you know perception and you know there's that twitch pill I'll say that mindset you know going to kick and it was kind of uneasy and I asked my community yesterday I said are you guys liking kick and they're like yeah we're so in it and uh you know for 2025 I feel a lot better going in k for the third year second year whatever versus in the beginning so I I'm pretty at ease again it's just kind of like avoid the noise stay true to your content trust the process and keep going so yeah it made me feel comfortable doing the whole Switcheroo from twitch to kick and just it's like my little safe spot right here I'm it's comfortable I'm liking it I'm liking it um for me I am like a really shy person so at the end of last year when we put on those award show and everything it was a way to for me to finally notice that I can step out of my comfort zone and show up and this is another situation I was nervous I've been in the streams with KCK to and just to see the chats flaring off and it's like oh but this was an experience I vibed out I enjoyed talking to them I got to talk to them in the at the kca's in Discord we vibed out so to see them again beautiful experience listen that's why I went to you in the intros first I'm the type of person that will just throw I'll throw my kid into the deepen and see what happens um and uh you did great and even meeting you at dream hack you came right up to me we talked we got an I got a picture with you uh and um so yeah all I can say is that uh from seeing you at dream hack to here like you were you're supposed to be and um and you keep Rising the occasion so uh just keep doing it appreciate that oh and before I forget oh SPS gaming or just got Affiliated and we're doing our first event Community event well not first because you know as an affiliate we doing our first event so I'm calling out putting it out there now we are going to be doing a puzzle along all the links to register for the puzzle along is in the bio on my personal Channel sugar bears club and ons and you can also hit the Twitter ons gaming org and register so hit it up let's have some fun let's take put down the game you guys have me on Discord uh if there's any way that I can help or what you got going on please hit us up and let us know um and we we will support every way we can I'm going to do we listen and we don't judge series with three other streamers involved so this is going to be this one's going to be in for the books I'm excited I'm excited I Did It For My Stream but just with the community but I think if I add people with the same sense of vibe and style that I put out I think it's going to be hilarious that be fun funny hell yeah anyone else leaving it out there since we're all talking about what we're doing K conversations um obviously is going to continue every Friday and if you anyone would be interested in being featured there is a for now in my about section um where you can fill in uh to register your interest we're also going to be branching out and doing a bit more with it I'm going to be doing conversations Hot Topics which we Tri last year where we're going to have three or four streamers on at the same time we're going to start tackling some more of the the divisive topics in a nice conversational um respectful manner but we're going to we're going to tackle kick conversations at the moment is kind of a one-on-one conversation and it's quite positive around kick we talk about the negatives but we don't get into anything too crazy but we want to kind of get out of the comfort Zone and breach some of those hot topics we're also going to be doing someone mentioned earlier but we're going to be doing kit conversations with mods and one with viewers um and we have some other podcasts coming as well so yeah big things happening this year

yeah it's this is the year to do stuff 2025 put your mind to it got it do it go do it right don't be afraid to take some risk my sister said that the um she said her word for the year is perspective so getting the perspective of other people sharing in others and also finding what her own vision for her own life and her world looks like and in that perspective so um along on those same lines I want to thank you guys for sharing your perspectives in this uh discussion with us all day from santoria and all his feedback and taking on every question uh no matter what it was having a response for every and thought out response not just answering uh to answer the question but taking time to actually listen respond formulate and then um come up with Solutions and offer it back to us so thank you guys for all being a part of this uh appreciate again all the support from the kit Community Awards event 2024 it was the first time doing it with the community as a whole within my reach and I'm blessed um to have had so much help with that as well um from the people who presented to the people who clipped and did the award design and I mean it was in the morning I just about to say it was a long night especially for my European brothers and up till 600 7 a. m. in the morning and I looked up I'm like oh my God it's 2 o'cl how are we still here but I know why I'm a I'mma just shatter y'all couldn't vote for me but y know the fun part Miss nomination fun part yes Y and we had a lot of um feedback a lot of help and a lot of behind the scenes so again thank you to Su and fuz for being that behind those behind the scene voices shout out to the people who received an award this year who did not uh get even nominated or got nominated or supported other people whatever the case may be shout out to us as a community for trying to put something together um to highlight achievements and celebrate one another versus tearing each other down um I pray one of the things we take away from these kind of conversations is that we will do more talking to each other uh versus about each other there's so much more you can solve when you actually speak to a person verus just um what's that what's it saying um you make a ass out of when you assume [ __ ] you and me so just talk to people that's from the three stoes I think just talk to people um and try to solve within your own spaces and places we're all grown I know we don't always act like it but let's try um couple other things got to remind the people out there I am Lauren Shay LA from South Central LA today was a good day but it's also not such a good day for some people out here um I don't I'm on the East Coast now but my West Coast people are struggling my aunt for example has lost her home in Palisades I have people that are um in the community right now that don't have a home they're displaced they're without food they lost all their pictures and um the air quality is terrible my mother has asthma I mean there's so much going on right now in La listen I'm over here thinking I'm like I'm in a snowstorm for the first time I'm like oh my God it's cold and it's this and no the city is burning yes uh so we do have an initiative right now on my page through tiltify for uh direct relief which offers Medical Aid um offering Food Supplies housing resources so if you're interested I'm going to be fundraising all week uh with a goal of $1,000 trying to of course do my part to always give back like we always do um and uh last but most uh certainly not least um I do want to just thank the kit Community as a whole for bringing people together and for bringing myself together with my man cuz for some people don't know I'm always going to shout out Omni JoJo who I did meet through kick streaming and I am engaged to and I am 20 weeks pregnant with our son so this is a legit kick baby y'all I would not I don't think be having my son without um this platform and this community so um I'm thankful for that I'm thankful for the people here and I'm thankful to God always for positioning Me For Greater and all of us here so thank you for having me y we want to give a big shout out to you as well Community Awards did an absolutely incredible job and I know you did have you had help and the community are incredible but it wouldn't have happened without you and you are the queen of the CIT community and we love you thank you so much for bringing it together we really appreciate you thank you keep rolling yeah one thing I will you know say you know thank you all for coming on um thanks for being honest um so for anyone out there who's watching this and think that Lauren and Shay just woke up one day and just did this like that's not it's not the case she has a long history of kick she's been put through the ringer I can't even tell

you um she's like [ __ ] I been I can't even tell you how much been put through the ringer but the thing is that so have a lot of you guys out there right so I want to point that out like this [ __ ] ain't easy it's intense uh but at the same time man when it's clicking it's fun and there's a lot of positive things that you can do with this right uh my point is that if you're sitting out there you need to see yourselves in lazy Panda Good Vibes Greg you need to see yourself in Lauren sha Sugar AO and sweet cakes you need to see yourself in Aiden you need to see yourself in sneo you need to see yourself in all these story arcs that you see that are happening on Kick because life is evolving uh and I think that is where live streaming got it wrong is that other platforms didn't allow life to just evolve that a to became a time capsule and when you loosen up to and you loosen up the C Time Capsule yeah it's going to get a little rough but it's the only way maturity is going to happen that a story arc is going to happen and it's the only way that you evolve out of your current situation so um leave the resentment at home quit pocket watching um realize that people are um you know worry about your grind worry about your community if your community ain't giving you the flowers then this might not be for you in yourself at least believe in yourself if don't believe in yourself then you can't grow as a person and I'm learning that now I'm giving myself that selflove so beautiful um and then here's the other thing um Eddie would was is on um little holiday he is going to be back next weekend uh hosting kick to so big shout out to Eddie for allowing me to host these uh big shout out to Eddie for even allowing this to happen the only platform where the CEO comes on and answers questions and allows his staff to answer questions um all you guys on here um promise we're we'll bring you guys back on so that you can have a chat with Eddie uh I because he is he's the main event right um and so but just know he watches these when he's not a part of these right we break this down we take notes we clip it off and we share this internally so um every bit of this um he will watch um he will take inventory on but um yeah thanks to Eddie for just allowing this to happen big shout out to the mods that were in here protecting chat big shout out to the staff that was listening to you guys um and we do take this seriously we do pick this apart we clip this off and all departments are able to dive into this and watch this you know via clips and things of that nature um but yeah thanks to you guys for coming on here and put putting yourself out there and having a discussion and then I'll Echo what uh Eddie says all the time when we rap one of these things up is that thank you for just like being interested in Kick enough to be here right I think he's always shocked every week in seeing like how many people actually care about the platform want to learn about the platform so um I just want to end the show they have to give it a chance at least just give the platform for a chance if you don't like it you can go back to the other one that's it change the channel and there's a lot of options and let's just continue just before we rap make sure we continue to incorporate different people's voices because I think it was awesome having an affiliate verified streamers Casi people just getting more people's voices so perhaps in continuity of care for the kick talks going forward there can be one day some sort of form where people can maybe apply to come on and be like hey I'm so and so I'm an affiliate on the platform and here's what I'd like to talk to Eddie about and maybe that could be another way you guys do some scouting and get some uh people to be featured as well just to continue this yeah um so who do we want to host guys
