Some things don't last forever, but they can if it's timeless. When it comes to swimwear with more coverage, I so often see these types of designs, and honestly, it's so unflattering for the female body. In my opinion, swimwear with coverage was best done for the '30s to '50s. The bikini was not yet popular, but look at how all of these one-pieces really highlight that feminine physique. It's classic, it's timeless, and it's what I wanted to draw inspiration from for my swim romper, which has gone through a little bit of an evolution over the past few years. This was my first iteration. It was a high-neck halter with a low back and pockets, of course. In the second iteration, I lowered the neckline, did two adjustable spaghetti straps, and also did a crisscross in the back so you could cinch yourself in. Obvi, I kept the pockets. In the third iteration, I did a small change that made a huge difference. Added flexible soft boning to the back opening so that when you cinched yourself in, the fabric wouldn't get distorted like in the bottom photo. Now, this year marks my fourth evolution of the swim romper. I've heard it all. You are sick and tired of the square neckline. You think the spaghetti straps are too thin. You want more support, but you still want it to look dainty. You guys, I think you're going to fall in love with the 2026 Riptide Romper. All right, guys, this year you're not getting the square neckline, you're getting a sweet V. Instead of a single strap, you're getting a double strap that actually loops over onto the back into that crisscross, which not only makes it adjustable, but also unsuspectedly more supportive. And here's the best part. I traded these gold end caps for these ocean-inspired charms. Oh my god. Obviously, I'm never getting rid of the pockets. And you guys, this is my fourth iteration and best iteration of my swim romper ever. I wanted to have some fun with the tropical prints and textures. Oh, and on the inside, you'll notice that I added a nip cushion layer with optional padding, so you're super safe. She comes in nine sizes and four colorways. Let me know which ones are your fav.
