This verb is boring. Let's learn some alternatives and we will do it as a quiz. Choose the correct verb. Number one, wandered or paced. It's wandered. She wandered around the city center admiring the buildings. To wander is to walk in a relaxed way. To pace is to walk backwards and forwards, usually because you're nervous. While my dog was having surgery, I was pacing the corridor outside. Number two, plots or swaggers. The cat swaggers around my garden as if she owns it. To swagger is to walk very confidently.
