## Транскрипт

### Segment 1 (00:00 - 01:00) []

So, today I am going to be trying oil pastels for the first time. Let's start with the eye. Maybe throw in this like brighter mid-tone and bring in some yellows to add some shine. A little bit of this here. And then throw some white on top of that. Can we make like a cool gray? I think with every art supply, there's always like a stage where you just have to trust that maybe it will look crappy in the end. Hmm. Maybe it's finger time. What's the proper blend technique? Is it finger? Got a little frilly neck here. Going through an existential crisis right now. Let's go ham. Let's just put this all up in here. Add a little bit more darker fur texture. Let's work on the face for a little bit. Not super easy to get this level of details right here. If you want a lighter color, you got to just like lay down white first. So, we'll put down some white right here cuz we want this to be like light. Or we could mess it up like that. Now, this whole chunk right here is very light-colored fur. Tinted a bit with the yellow ochre. Blend it. Now, this chunk of the head is this darker tan. And then it kind of fades down into white. This is going a little better. The white is doing a lot of the heavy lifting right now. Is the point of oil pastels to just always be pretty loose? Or do I just suck? Or is it both? Let's throw some of these little dots in here. See if we can bring in a little bit of detail lines now. Hints at the fur and the lines. A little bit of ear fur. We're going to do rough and rugged. Bring a little pop of teal in here for no good reason. And then our buddy white. Just got to go Throw some little swoopy hairs up here. Those are nice. Yeah, we like those. Okay. Maybe now in the video there will be a montage of me photographing this and put digital elements on top and see what it would look like combining clean digital art with this crazy loose chunky oil pastel. And here is the finished digital art version.
