## Транскрипт

### Segment 1 (00:00 - 04:00) []

Figma just launched a bunch of new AI as well as design updates and also launched a massive worldwide competition where you can win big prizes. So, without further ado, let's check them out. Guys, I have just launched an AI design course up on Udemy, a complete certified beginner-friendly course that takes you from planning a project using AI, taking that plan into Google Stitch, which is very popular these days, and from Google Stitch go to Google AI Studio to have a coded working functional app that you can push out. It costs less than a pizza and I'm giving away a discounted link in the description. Now, on to the Figma update. All right, so first they are introducing controls for slots. Earlier this year, they introduced slots, which is a new feature where you can convert any auto layout element into a slot. Now, these slots will now have their own individual properties. That means you can set the minimum or maximum number of layers that a slot can have. So, designers will have a little more functional control on slots and also set the default states of some of the slots. So, if a slot needs to be empty by default and then a designer can add stuff onto it, then you can set it by default. You can also ensure that only a certain instance of a component is shown inside a slot. This will help a lot if you're working in a large team and people just randomly add different elements to slots or to auto layouts, which might not be very useful. You can also add fill by default. That means any empty space will be auto-filled with certain elements. It also will display error messages anytime someone exceeds the limit or breaks the rules that you've set. A designer who doesn't know your rules will get notified as soon as they break one of those rules inside these slots. This makes slots way more useful because there's a lot more governance you can do around it, a lot more control you can have, communication you can do with other designers without having to directly communicate. Figma make just released visual edits as well as local edits. That means you can pick up your local code base, whether it's available in a server or on your desktop, coded project already lying around. You You'll have a local open local folder option whenever you start a new project in Figma. So, you don't have to worry about anything. It checks your code and turns it into a Figma make editable project. At the end, you will be able to create a branch and push a commit so that your GitHub gets updated automatically. It does everything automatically. So, if there are any dependencies that you were working on in on your local machine, it will set up the dependencies automatically. any dev server that is needed and everything it's building is in sync with your design system. So, it already had that design system integration. Now, it's taking it to your local code. Figma make-a-thon is your This is the most exciting part of it part of this video. A hundred thousand dollars worth of prizes. The breakdown will be somewhat like last time, fifty thousand dollars to the grand prize winner, then twenty ten thousand dollars second and third prize winners, things like that. Everyone who registers will get the Figma pro plan for free for the number of days that this event will go on. For the first ten thousand free registrations, you will also get early access to Figma AI agent that they just launched and is still in beta. Even I don't have access to Figma agent, but they are giving access to Figma agent to the ten thousand people who register first and free credits for Figma weave. Now, the instructions are not very clear on what the challenge is all about, which will be launched tomorrow. So, if you're watching this on the third, then it'll launch on the fourth. But, the clues and the text clearly states that this will be either a Figma make event, that is why hence the name make-a-thon. Design and build something using their Figma make platform or create some graphical components using Figma weave, which maybe not a lot of you guys know about, but this way you get to try Figma weave out with those free credits, too. Apart from that, the judges are awesome. There's a long list of amazing judges. This is 100% free of cost and anyone can participate and win. A link will be in the description to participate in this for free. Another major update, it's not a Figma tool update, but Miggi from Figgi has broken down various use cases and described everything that you will be able to do, even the things that they didn't showcase publicly with Figma agent. So, if you don't have Figma agent access yet, almost everyone doesn't, you will get a behind the scenes of how the Figma agent works.
