I stumble upon a hidden gem. Grit Blender is a very unique and very versatile saturator plugin. Very cool GUI with your animated blender over there. The spins faster as you drive it harder. This plugin is very easy to use and give you results fast. But the unique thing about it is that instead of choosing one of the 12 saturation algorithm that you have available, you can blend them together. Look at this. Right now I have tape, tube, and desk selected and I can seamlessly blend between the three of them. Or I can click dual stage and now I have two drive knobs down here and I can blend each stage between three choices. And you can see also the saturation curve changes accordingly. Or you can get all out, click 12-way, and inject as much of each algorithm as you want. Let's try a basic quick example on a mix with the three-way selector. For mix I like tape, I like desk, and instead of tube in this case I click here and I select pentode. I have a drive knob for the overall intensity of my combination there, tone, dark or bright, mix knob. And you also have three additional processing, analog, punch, and smooth, which you can control if you open the advanced panel. And you can decide how much of each process, analog, punch, and smooth, you want to use. Stereo mid-side operation, oversampling, and also crossovers if you want to apply saturation only on a specific band. Check this out. Bypassed. — [music and singing] — Sounds great.
